    Breakfast Burger $11 + Bacon $2 IG: @fiveftfoodie
    Corina Q.

YUM! I won an Instagram contest for a free sandwich, so my parents and I made the trip to the Kailua Town Farmers Market to redeem it. The workers were so outgoing and genuinely seemed like they loved doing what they do, and treated all the customers like friends. I got the Breakfast Burger ($11) which is their Lava Rock Brioche Bun, a local grassfed beef patty from Forage Hawaii (also has a stall at the farmer's market!), havarti cheese, pickles, red chili aioli, maple bacon jam, and a local egg sunnyside up. I also added bacon to mine ($2). We also got the Mango Ginger Beer $6, which was super duper refreshing, and had a sharp (but not harsh!) ginger taste. The brioche bun was SO delicious. 40% of my judgement of a good burger comes from the bun, and this passed my test. It was a soft, buttery brioche with herbs brushed on (or baked on?) which gave it a great flavor. The beef patty was delish and not dry like other burgers, the maple onion jam was insanely delicious (a little on the sweet side, from the maple and the sugars from the onion), and everything paired so well with each other. I will say that the burger is a little on the smaller side, but I totally get it, since they source so many of their ingredients locally and it's one heck of a good burger. Definitely gonna be back next time to try their M&J sandwich! they also have secret menu items that only people that follow their IG (@journey.hfc) know about!

Breakfast burger review Ordered this one that farmers market at kaakaako. Very flavorful and lots going on but it works well together. Was kind of suspect of what that egg would do but it definitely added a good creamy flavor. The bad The bun both top and bottom was super soggy. The bottom bun pretty much disappeared because it was so wet. Wish the bun held up a little better. Overall a good burger to try. But if you are craving a burger in the area, go to chubbies right down the street.

I mean a REALLY special breakfast!   I've…read moregot the perfect choice - CINNAMON'S Restaurant in Kailua!   I've heard people say it was good but never had a chance to go.   I'm so glad I went!   Let me share..... The parking lot is pretty big so you have a pretty good chance of finding parking.  The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating.   My friends and I chose the outdoor seating and we were glad we did.  With the covered, large patio area, you get the cool breeze and fresh air.   Just sitting outside you feel comfortable to relaxed!   Note:   You will get occasional birds that come by....but we didn't find it to be problem at all. We decided that we were gong to each order a different thing and share.   We ordered the following: CHORIZO SHRIMP OMELETTE - If you love a bit of spice like me, you'll love this.   I remember having Mexican chorizo in California and this has the same taste.   The omelet is packed with flavor and it's HUGE!   We ordered it with the fried potatoes.   I honestly could've just eaten this omelette, it was that good!! FRENCH TOAST -- ya gotta get that little bit of sweetness to enjoy with your coffee!    They serve sweet bread french toast.   It's very similar to others that I've had at other places.  Not unique but it was good. CORNED BEEF HASH WITH EGGS - This was a special request from one of my friends.  Homemade corned beef hash -- you can't go wrong.   I think the other winner on this plate was those crunchy....super crunchy tater tots.  OMG, they were so good!!   I think the next time I will order this with an over-easy egg so I can dip those tots in my yolk ---- you'all know the goodness in that, right?!!! I definitely recommend!    The prices are pretty reasonable and the portion sizes are big.   I totally recommend everyone ordering a dish and do family style so you can sample a taste of everything!

No problem seated w/ drinks but breakfast took a bit to be delivered to our table. It was the same thing on our last visit too. But as long as water and coffee refiled it wasn't a problem since we weren't rushing to anything afterwards! Their kitchen seems to get back logged easily so plan on waiting for a table and your food! People here especially the servers are all great and service drinks often which is a big plus. Seated inside this time and the chairs are much more comfortable. Food portions like the eggs Benedict seem small considering their price point. Loco mono and omelets portions are far more generous. The 1/2 order of eggs Benedict had less 2 tablespoons of Hollandaise sauce not enough ! It did come with a generous portion of tater tots. Baja breakfast was ok Pancakes were ok A bit disappointing is it

So you know I was surprised to see a beautifully painted building of a surfer girl, octopus tentacles and cute classic VW bus and had to see what was there and it's located right down the street from the Aloha Home Market which is the reason I was in Kailua and after a bit of browsing I got hungry and knew I had to see what Lilikoi Kitchen had to offer. Slightly confused as it shares a small space with a tattoo parlor though walking in the do make the most of the space as there's a service area where there's two ladies doing it all and immediately informed me that it will take approximately 25 minutes for any orders which is great to know upfront. Menu is quite impressive for this cute cafe and though there are many items that caught my cravings it has to have Lilikoi...right!? Monte Cristo is ham, provolone cheese with Lilikoi jam grilled between Japanese style white bread and Lilikoi Iced Tea is the perfect pairing on this Sunday afternoon and gosh what a treat! The cheese pull was insane and the grill was done with perfect marks as you can see it wasn't rushed and grilled perfectly and I loved that it came with some greens and of course Lilikoi dressing...yum! There are some high bar type seating inside but decided that the outside was much more comfy and really enjoyed it all the iced tea was perfectly balance with Lilikoi, the wait can be avoided with a phone order but I rarely plan that early and had no idea it even existed but will be back for the other items. Thank you!

I would share a photo but it's currently passing through my digestive system and not feeling very photogenic at the moment. Ignore that silly disgusting mess attached to my original review, but I will leave the photos up because I think they are instructive for management. Mission Accomplished Kono's Kailua! The parking can be challenging having maybe 10 -12 spots in their lot and some street parking . Their Menu is a bit more limited than their other location. As always a great experience with a great casual setting..fair pricing (nothing is considered "cheap" nowdays) ..good food and friendly staff.

Get to the front to understand they only have two types of bagels and everything else was out. Also sold out of coffee. Horrible. The 3 teens working were exceptionally slow, had no idea what was going on, and it was sheer chaos. Even customers were talking amongst themselves saying there needs to be someone older there who has some leadership skills. The food sucked. One bite into the 20$ bagel and all the contents slid out because the bagel was a brick. What a horrible waste of money and time. Go somewhere else. It's clear the owners give no care about the success of their business running it this way.

Was all confused because signs said "the Garden to your left, Boardroom to the right", so we kind of passed the entrance, going around the corner, and noticed that there wasn't another entrance on the other side, and that's when we figured the short wooden sliding gate was the entrance lol as you walk in, it's an outdoor establishment, lots of seats everywhere. One thing about this place is that it's hotttt, if u go in the day.
