The espresso is still good (usually) and the pastries are good. The food items are also tasty. The seating and overall vibe is wonderful, and the workers are nice (the older staff are my fave tho!). They are still my favorite for a london fog, but I stop by less often now.

The worker was very nice and friendly, so I have no complaints about the service. Their indoor space felt a little crammed as customers were left confused as to where to wait for their drinks. Indoor seating is gone. There used to be a lot of space that added a lot to the ambiance and made ChadLou's feel like a cozy place to enjoy a coffee. Without it, the atmosphere just doesn't feel the same anymore.

The vibe is peaceful, aesthetic, calm, and welcoming, the baristas are incredibly kind, and the drinks are consistently excellent. So far I tried their matcha latte with almond milk and monk fruit and it was tasty, and then also had their version of the shaken espresso. The baristas aren't snobby and willing to customize your drink to fit your preferences which is great! They also have Wi-Fi if you need to work, cute merch, and plenty of space to relax. I wanted to dine in, so I sat down and the waitress pointed to the QR code on the table (as if to order online). So I scanned the QR code, ordered, and waited. There was only one other party dining in. After 20 minutes, I went to the counter and asked if my food was ready (online it said "ready for pickup"). The waitress said my order wasn't in the system. I told her I ordered and paid on the link and she asked for my name and said, "oh, it's here but it's to-go." She said that the QR code was wrong, it went to takeout orders, gave me the bag and said, "Oh well." I said that I wanted to dine in, she replied, "You can still eat here," but didn't offer to put my food on a plate or give me utensils (which weren't in the bag). She didn't smile or apologize and I felt awkward so I left with my food. The food was decent, I just wish the service was better. It made me feel sad and unwelcome.
