The is by far the worst dealership I have been to. The price of a truck was listed at 31,994. When I got to the dealership the salesman was pretty push. I told him let's just take the truck for a test drive. Great truck. Get back and I told him let's see the numbers for the truck they asked if I was financing through them I told them no I already had a loan to buy the truck. They were pushy on trying to finance with them. I told them no no matter what. They come back with this breakdown (I took a picture to prove it before they could take the sheet away.) MSRP: 39,994 Selling price: 31,994 Total savings/rebate: 8,000 (what rebate) Government fees: 326.00 Prof/doc fees: 303.00 Pro-pack: 2,495 (which is on every vehicle that says optional they said I had to buy it. When I took my car in for service they gave it back with a check engine light and the car could barely drive.(never had a check engine light) The car went in for break service and oil change. I found a used truck on cars.com on their lot and solicited to make the purchase. Explained I would be driving from eastern Ohio (576 miles/9hrs away) with my financing already approved through my credit union. I wanted to secure the deal before driving that far and it not being there or some other dealer BS once I arrived. I got some story about how they have a deal on the vehicle already and the guy left a deposit and went on vacation (who does this? Red Flag#1). The sales guy said, "I told him the deposit holds the deal, not the vehicle" meaning they would sell if if someone matched or beat it(Red Flag#2). While all of this sounded suspect I really wanted this truck, especially at the price it was being advertised for online. He told me he would sell it to me if I was willing to agree to the same terms. He said the terms were the dealer wanted the financing. I explained I had my own and didn't need his. Not willing to budge and really wanting this truck, I agreed to let them run my credit (my fault) to see if it was close enough to mine to still want the vehicle. Next he told me the potential owner wanted a LoJack installed and I would have to pay for that as well(Red Flag#3). I left the call telling him to let me know as I was dealing on another truck in Indiana and would be leaving in the morning for one of these two trucks. I returned to my desk and thought about how strange that conversation was and questioned everything that was said. Later, I called back and told him I was no longer interested in his vehicle and the deal was off. He questioned me as to why and I told him I had a friend who built a very successful car business by doing something similar. He would put people in a high interest loan, have them pay to put a LoJack on the vehicle and when they defaulted, he knew exactly where to send the repo driver. It was at this point the salesman got rude with me! Telling me, It's not my fault you don't understand how cars sales work and kept interrupting me as I attempted to once again explain I had my own financing and just want the price of the truck out the door so I could come buy it. For reference, I'd like to say I am 50yo. I have bought the majority of my vehicles over the internet by looking for exactly what I want and finding the best deal then going to get it. This was not my first rodeo! I was attempting to buy a Silverado 3500HD 4DR 4WD Dually from this dealer. This would have been the 5th model of this truck I have purchased in the last 12 years. I say all of that to say, I understand buying/selling vehicles all over the country. He admitted they intentionally set the low sell price on cars.com to get people interested then fully intend to make the money back on a high interest loan. Insult to injury... after I placed this call and told him the deal was off, within 20 minutes I get an email and a text stating Zeigler JUST ran my credit and put a hard inquiry on my record. Shady business practices! I 100% caution anyone doing business with Zeigler if this is the type of people they employ. There is no way the sales manager and owners are not aware of the tactics being used by their employees. I can understand using this on people who walk in and do not have good credit. I was not that case. I was calling from a day's drive away with "money in hand" and wanted the sale price. Needless to say, the next morning I drove over 6 hrs to Hobson Chevrolet in Martinsville, IN to purchase the other truck. Before drive, the lady who received and directed the internet sales calls texted me to ask if I was satisfied with the business offered by Zeigler. I told her how horrible the experience was and offered to get on every review I could find for their business and make sure I let the public know my experience. "Maybe I will stop when that guy calls me back and apologies". During the drive the sales guy tried to call me back and I simply told him I was too pissed off to speak to him at the moment. I dropped my car off for a tire rotation and after receiving my car I noticed that all my rims where scuffed up by someone who was careless working on my car. I have a Nissan Sentra midnight so I have the all black out rim. I call them and told them about it being all scuffed up and they told me to bring back in the car for a detailer to fix it. After going back to pick up my car I had front end damage on my car and my rim look like someone didn't know how to touch up paint. My front end of my car now has chipped paint and paint peeling. Not only did this happen but when I took the car in for an oil change my driver side door got hit and now I have a dent and missing paint. I have left multiple voice mail there and no one has responded to me. I can't believe a company can do this to someone car and do nothing about it. read more

They were Patient and flexible with us about pricing and doing their best to give my boyfriend and I the financing for the car as close to what we requested as possible. They catered to our needs and we truly appreciate the hard work they did to help us! Thank you! Buttttt I had to make some changes in this review and rating. They said they wouldn't pull ny boyfriends credit a SECOND time and they ended up pulling his credit EIGHT TIMES. This location used to be a good place to get service done but the "customer service" has really gone downhill the last few years. Not sure if there was a management change or what but it's nowhere near what it used to be. First, when dropping off my vehicle, the squirrely guy behind the counter couldn't even be bothered to look up and acknowledge me despite being the only person there waiting for service. After that, I never received a phone call or text that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I had to call myself the day after the original estimated day of completion had passed to confirm service was complete and my car was ready for pickup. Then during pickup after service was done, squirrely guy again couldn't even say "it'll be just a moment", rather we had to wait for another girl to come and ask us how she could assist. Additional charges of almost $500 were added and despite asking for a service manager to come out and explain twice, he would rather play the telephone game with the cashier and still not really explain anything. Even after reassuring the cashier our issue was not with him but the manager not having the common decency to explain in person, he started getting an attitude with us as well. 2 stars because the actual service was done correctly but the customer service left a lot to be desired. When paying a premium price, you can at least pretend to value my business instead of acting like we're bothering/inconveniencing you to do your job. The icing on the cake was when the car was brought into the service department so we could head home, the porter couldn't even be bothered to clean the snow off of it, just moved enough off the windshield so they could pull it in and left it like that, 2-3 inches of snow on everything else including the soft top. Not sure how this place has so many Google reviews that are positive while Yelp is overwhelmingly negative. We went in to look at their 2021 Corvette. They listed it at 94,333 on their website. It had 1,550 miles on it. The salesman was very nice, but when he got the manager (Steve) to give us the best price, he came back at 115,000. I was shocked. This is a used car and the original sticker was 71,000. Of course Steve was like, "We have so many people interested in this car, and they are calling every day". When I asked the salesman how can they ask that price, he replied, taxes and "fees" I feel sorry for anyone who pays this price for this car. There are plenty more out there. Service writer Danny Talavera has helped me with my service visits and he has been great! He is welcoming, he listens to the reason for my visit and he communicates with me throughout the process. I had one service visit which required me to leave my truck and get a loaner. Danny texted me with updates frequently while they had my truck for 2 days. I stopped in and looked at the car and told the sales man I would be back the next day to buy it, i wanted to see it in the daylight. When I looked at the car again the next day online the price had gone up. A lot. I am guessing the first price was a mistake. But the way they handled it was so poor. No interest in working with me, the salesman Jesus just wanted me to come in and talk to the manager but wait until the morning. I asked what price would they sell that car to me? He said that I could talk to the manager and they would try. He wouldn't even get me a price. This is why most people hate buying cars. This was a text exchange. After the Nissan dealership/service shop in Highland Park closed, we had to find another place to take our cars for service. To double our efforts, I went to one place, my husband went to another one and then we compared notes. After an all night deliberation (just kidding, it was 10 minutes) Zeigler Nissan came out better. I made my next service appointment here and I was not disappointed. The customer service can be occasionally rough around the edges and considering this is a car dealership and not a spa, it's not a big deal. The important thing is that they know their stuff and explain everything clearly, even to me, who doesn't know much about all the parts under the hood. The waiting room is clean and comfy, with complimentary wi-fi, coffee, and snacks. And I'll let you in on a small secret - if you walk to the show room, you will find a small fridge stocked with water and a popcorn machine. You are welcome :) I had some engine trouble and had to leave my car with them for couple of days. They communicated the progress regularly and gave me a loaner car to use at no additional charge. With the reviews about bad tactics and changing prices I requested online pricing in writing before I would come in. ***Please beware of dealer fraud*** I had gone in to just see the trade in value of my 2015 Nissan Sentra and the car salesman Leavon, took my vehicle to see the trade in value and came back and said that my transmission was bad and that it had no trade in value. He claimed it's not safe to drive that car and that I need to buy another car. Later, he came back and said that he got me approved on a used 2017 Nissan Sentra. I mistakenly believed them when they said my 2015 Nissan Sentra had a bad transmission and that it was going to cost a lot of money to fix it. When I was ready to sign the paperwork, the finance person Peyton lied to me saying that if I don't buy the extended warranty the bank was going to charge me a higher interest rate. Again I mistakenly believed him. In the end, I was stuck with my 2015 Sentra and the 2017 Nissan Sentra. This happened last month and tried to remove the extended warranty yesterday and the Finance Manager told me that it cannot be removed and that if I remove the extended warranty that the bank will take car back. I had called the bank I have the loan with and they said it's not required to have an extended warranty. read more

When you first pull in you notice that they have an inventory that seems to be too large for their current lot size and you think to yourself "they need a bigger lot". However, after trying to do business with them, you quickly figure out why that is. I went there to look at two "certified pre-owned" Nissan Rogues because the price they listed on the internet was very enticing. It was brought to my attention only AFTER I test drove both vehicles that the dealership charges a non-negotiable $2800 fee to have the vehicle certified as a certified pre-owned now making what I thought was a good deal now overpriced compared to the other dealerships. Lou was my salesman and he told me that they are in a bad location and they must list vehicles online for a lower price than their competitors to get people in the showroom, otherwise nobody would come visit the dealership. I asked him what his definition of false advertising/bait & switch was, and he had no answer. He said he would make it up to me since I drove 90 minutes one way to look at the 2 vehicles. He said he would "go to bat for me" If Lou's baseball skills are anything like his negotiation skills, he would not even make the roster of his local tee ball team. He came back with an offer that had the exact same online price plus the $2800 CPO fee. After expressing my frustration, I was greeted by a floor manager named Moe. After talking with him I can only conclude that his brothers must be named Larry & Curly. I guess they stopped teaching floor managers how to treat customers with respect and dignity. I asked him can I just buy the car for the online price and not have it certified and he said no. I called other Nissan dealerships in the area and asked what they charge to have one of their cars certified as a certified pre-owned and all of them said we don't have a fee on top of the listed vehicle price. Not only do they trick customers to come to their dealership with misleading prices they then gouge them with thousands of dollars in non-negotiable fees. They do not honor their online prices, not to mention they are advertising cars as CPO's when they are not. If you are somewhat at all a savvy car buyer, you should avoid this dealership no matter what their prices state. We went in to talk numbers and what was a 27000$ car quickly turned in to a 33000$ car they apparently automatically added on a 3000$ z package which we were told was ceramic coating we promptly declined the package as that was something we were not looking for, he then went in to the back room to talk to the manager on taking off the z package when he returned he said the package could not be removed we asked why and there was no answer he then said he could not help us and we asked to speak to the manager in the back he came out in told us that someone already put a deposit on this car which makes no sense as when we called they said it was available so don't know who magically put a deposit on it in 20 minutes. I saw a truck online. I went to the showroom - after an hour was shown the truck. I agreed to pay the online price and negotiated some accessories. After two hours of waiting and processing paper, one of the documents was a loan agreement. I objected stating I was paying cash. First the salesman then the credit manager stated that the price would be higher for a cash payment and they had already pulled credit. After three hours I left only be chased down in the parking lot and told that the online price would be honored. After another half hour I was again told it had to be financed. These are the facts.
