It feels like you only get attention if you walk in stating you have a $5,000+ down payment or are looking to pay cash for a $40,000 vehicle. When we walked in, not one person offered to help or even asked if we were being assisted. We went straight to the front desk and explained that we had an appointment scheduled with a reference code, but no one seemed interested in looking into it--except for one young lady who kindly tried to figure out who we were working with. (A sincere thank you to her.) We were eventually helped by a familiar face who has assisted us in the past. He mentioned it was busy, which we understood, but when we asked about an advertisement, his demeanor felt like, "Let's run the numbers and get this over with." (I still appreciate his help, but the attitude was off-putting.) I have to give a huge shoutout to the gentleman who offered us water or tea--you really make a difference. To everyone else: your customer service levels are far from what they used to be. The stares and the attitudes were honestly terrible. Tried to buy a car here. Was going to put a deposit on a car over the phone so we could hold it. They ran some lease numbers and they were way off. Basically the lease payments equaled more than the total value of the car ! So yeah the numbers were off. Called the sales manager 6 times to put a deposit to hold the car so we could work the numbers. Never got a call back. When I did get through to someone the guy who answered goes "sup?" ...I mean answer the phone properly and people who call are interested and take it seriously. Awful service. I really should have wrote this review last year in May but my sales rep was the only reason I did not. He no longer works there. I can see why. We went in the evening on May 22, 2024 while I maintained that we didn't want to purchase the warranty they were selling the older Italian, skinny guy with glasses who usually sits on the south of the front entrance added the warranty while I was on the phone with my insurance lady. They gave us all the docs on a thumb drive. I didn't see them when we walked out but I did review them when I got home on my laptop in an effort to be considerate and not keep them after hours. My daughter was 18 but it was her first big purchase and although I told them not to add it they did. I went in and complained and spoke to whom they said was the manager, a short, white bald guy with glasses and at first he tried to push back but made it right by removing the warranty and updating the loan correctly. Mind you, the kia soul she purchased here was missing the emblem on the hood of the front of the car. After months of going back and forth between sales and service I was finally taken care of at the Kia in Waukegan on Green Bay and the Gurnee spot did cover the charge. Now fast forward a year later I was contacted by the dealer to go in and refinance the car AKA get us to trade in the car and roll the loan into a new car loan etc. The car we bought last year was purchased by my daughter on her own credit. This year the large African American gentleman who helped our sales rep, Jannely came over with quite the attitude throughout our transaction and made it seem like my daughter's credit wasn't not good enough. When in reality they sold her a car that was worth a lot less than she paid for it. But since this place is not trustworthy he came over to sell us that BS dream. I wasn't buying it because I am a parent who teaches my kids about credit and we know where her score is. All the lenders they went to rejected it because the "Value of Vehicle is INSUFFICIENT relative to the amount requested". Why didn't they just tell the truth when they are able to see the reason of rejection. Do NOT go here ever. This place may have inventory but the service and staff are there to make a quick buck. They don't care about return business and just have their servers set to send out emails and texts to help them promote themselves. I took the time to write this extensive review to warn parents, first time car buys, business owners do not spend your hard earned cash with this company until they learn to do better. A close friend of mine had a terrible experience at this dealership. They acted in bad faith, went back on their word, and even lied at the end of the process. After wasting 4-5 hours of his day, they tried to pressure him into paying $6,000 more than the original price they had agreed on. That is not what I would call good customer service. On top of that, he noticed what seemed to be fake customers or paid actors in the showroom who clearly weren't there to actually buy a car. I was searching for the truck on the internet and found one I really liked at the Gurnee dealership. Walked in to test drive it, and went unnoticed on the lot for about 25 minutes. When I found the sales rep I was advised that the truck I want can not be sold to me at the time. Darn but hey it is what it is. Decided to test drive a different truck and I inquired about the price. BEWARE: The "sale price" you see listed on their website is not the correct price. When given the MSRP price I was stunned. Only to be told well sir you have to qualify for the sale price. Which is very difficult since they have made it impossible. I felt like I was misled, and deceived. Service - Jeep Wrangler JLU for replacement of auxiliary battery. I made the appointment online and selected information with writeup that I had replaced my main because the Jeep won't start and accepted a jump very easily. It is a 2018 so I knew I need to replace both main and aux. The main was easy and I replaced but the Jeep still wouldn't start without the jump so I knew the aux needed replacement. Anyway dropped the Jeep for the aux battery replacement for the 0830 appointment. No calls so at 1130 I called to check in. The aux battery replacement requires access behind the passenger front fender liner. Three bolts holds the battery in place so I was thinking an hour but maybe they got busy. Anyway on the 1130 call, I spoke with the Service Advisor and he informs me that the tech is looking for a parasitic draw. I told him that the draw is from the dead aux and the service tech proceeded to tell me I don't have an aux battery. He was insistent that Jeep Wrangler JLU don't have one and the tech didn't look for it. I told him the Start/Stop feature should have helped as well as my request for the aux battery replacement. He said he would go back to the tech to see if there was indeed an aux battery. I get a call at noon that they found the aux battery and will test it. At 1230 they confirmed the aux battery is dead. Now I have an aftermarket switch for my accessories and this obviously threw the tech and service advisor for a loop. In addition I wired an aftermarket low voltage disconnect which needs to remain powered to shut off the switch and components when the voltage is low. The service tech and advisor come back to say at 130 they confirmed my low voltage disconnect is the parasitic draw and they suggest I unpower my switch. At this point, I just want this to be over. The jeep tech and jeep service advisor did not know the jeep had an aux battery, they spent well over 6 hours investigating a parasitic draw that wasn't there. I over paid for teaching the service tech and advisor about the electronic issues with Jeeps and the fact Wranglers (gas anyway) do indeed have an auxiliary battery which when dead will be a parasitic draw on the main battery. read more

I brought a vehicle in here at the service center. I waited a bit. I will say the stand were pretty friendly. I had an exhaust leak with my vehicle. They didn't have the part to fix my vehicle. It took a few hours for them to do a diagnostic on my vehicle. While that was happening I left and took care of some errands. $200 fee for the diagnostic. Ultimately I was a bit ticked that they charged me $200 just to look at the vehicle and tell me the problem without fixing it. The man I dealt with said the part was on back order and it may be a couple months before they were able to work on my vehicle. I asked if the fee they charged would be credited to me when I had my vehicle fixed. He advised that it would not. The following week I took it to a different repair shop that had my vehicle fixed in a few hours and they gave me a free estimate initially as well. If I have a Chrysler and I bring it to a Chrysler/Ram/Dodge etc. Why don't you take care of you current customers instead of trying to gouge them. I was pretty disappointed in the whole process to say the least. The prices should be posted online. I had no clue about the $200 fee until I was already there and invested in the process. read more

Bought a Range Rover from James on Feb 7th, 2021. A light with a triangle and exclamation point went on the following day I bought it. I reached out to James and he told me to bring it in to get it fixed when they were going to replace the second key fob they weren't able to find. Well, I had to make an appointment for the key fob and just addressed the light issue. Everyone is acting oblivious to the light issue and Alex (the manager in services) is ignoring all of my calls and messages. Bought a used truck that the check engine went on 12 miles from the dealer. They were already closed so we couldn't turn around and go back. Call on Monday since this happened on a Saturday, it hadn't gone through with final check anyways and oil change and such so they found a problem, within the first month it was at the dealership more than it was in my driveway. From doing research discovered that there was issues with this particular model year, particularly oil pressure, and that the wrong weight oil was used. Purchased a vehicle with 121,000 miles on it. Basically the motor was toast before we bought it. Never having on the diesel before we didn't know what a normal diesel sound was or not. Long story short they kept saying it was emissions when it really wasn't. They kept pushing catalytic converter replacement, and apparently 2 to 3 weeks later said it needed another one. We went for a second opinion, and found the oil pressure issue. There was a TSB from stelantis on this. They are "master mechanic" claimed that at idle when the vehicle is warmed up at three psi oriole pressure is "normal". Unfortunately we went through arbitration and lost because they had a shadier lawyer. Been paying for a vehicle I haven't driven for two years. My first and last dodge ever. They gave me the run around, charged me for extra stuff I didn't ask for, and overcharged for the stuff I did ask for. They didn't even fix my issue and had me uber all the way there and back, because they claim they didn't have any loaner cars. You're a car dealership, and you've run out of cars? On top of that, they sell your address and phone info to Sirius XM so now you get spam mail after coming here. Absolute scam to get your car repaired here; go absolutely ANYWHERE else. Update: Of course, now they want to talk. The first time I called and tried to speak to a manager, the manager ghosted me and told the service tech to call me back. It was taking so long that I told the tech to stop everything and just give me my car back. He convinced me to keep my car there and despite all that, still gave me the run around and charged me for services I mentioned in passing without getting my authorization, even knowing I was upset. When I complained about the bill, they said that I mentioned them so that was enough authorization. So don't even mention services you might want because they'll just go ahead and do it anyway and say you authorized it. read more

This is my first time getting my vehicle serviced here and will definitely be my last! I made an appointment with Jason for June 29th. I called 2 days before the appointment because I could not recall the time. Jason answered the phone call and I asked him what time my appointment was for the 29th. He proceeded to tell me he didn't have anything booked for me for that day. He asked me who I had my the appointment with and I told him with you! I should have known from that point on this was going to be a horrible experience. He asked if I could come in around 11 am which I did. I went in for my appointment and had my vehicle serviced. I asked Jason what the process would be for my damaged rim since I had purchased a Mopart rim packet. He stated he would need to take pictures of the damage and submit a claim. I asked him how long it would take and he said roughly about a week. I let 2 weeks go by without hearing anything back from the dealership. I called 2 Fridays in a row trying to get a hold of Jason and was told both times by some names Humberto he was out. Humberto took down the message for Jason to follow backup with me which never happened!! I called on 7/24 to speak with Jason's manager. He did not answer and I left a voicemail for him to follow up with me and here I am on 7/27 with no call back from the manager I believe his name is Michael. I called back this week and finally got a hold of Jason. He shared he had been out and the notes were probably somewhere on his desk. I asked him I needed an update on the claim and he said he would need to check on it and call me back. I asked him to have his manager call me. I am not quiet sure how a place like this dealership runs. Jason over promised and completely under delivered! I called on 7/27 and spoke with Alex another manager. He attempted to help me, but shared how the service department was closed and the manager was probably gone for the day. A few days after getting serviced I received a phone call from if I recall the individual introduced himself as Chris. He stated he was Jason's boss and asked if I would fill out a survey pertaining to the service I received on 6/29. He said it went to my email and if I would complete it he would have my vehicle detailed next time. Yet I can't even get a hold of ANYONE to share my experience and get an update. But the dealership was quick to ask for good survey results which the service I had received is not up to par! This has been such a terrible experience. !!! B U Y E R  B E W A R E !!! What started as a decent experience quickly went down hill far and fast. We found a new 2020 Durango this dealership was going to trade for us, we even negotiated and put down a $500 deposit, but it took several days to receive a call to come pick it up. It ended up being sold so Tyson Cook (our sales rep) quickly found us a "similar" new Durango, except it was missing 2 major features, a sunroof and roof racks. Tyson promised me if I purchased the similar model they would add all mopar & OEM factory parts as if I we purchased it from the factory. So they wrote up a " WE OWE" note saying "Sun roof and Roof racks". Little did we know they purposely made it vague so that they could install aftermarket parts, and that's exactly what they did. Our brand new $50k vehicle now looks HORRENDOUS and is 100% DEVALUED. After complaining and trying to resolve this bait and switch they've pulled over the past month, they're now telling us there is nothing they can do and are trying to place blame on a company they outsourced the installation to. They're now wanting us to trade in our BRAND NEW vehicle as a USED car to be upside down and purchase another model from their crooked lot. I have purchased 3 cars from this dealership and have referred them several times, but I guess loyalty doesn't matter to these cheats. From now on I will be telling friends, family, and others the exact opposite, that they'll want to look elsewhere and think twice about handing their hard earned money to this rat infested company. Sincerely wish that a rating of zero was an option because that is what I would rate this dealership. I am almost 60 years old and have bought over 30 vehicles both new and used over my lifetime. I have never worked with such an incompetent dealership that lies and has zero commitment to their customers! Customer service at this dealership is nonexistent. Back story: Looked at the website found a new jeep that fit what I was looking for and called the dealership. Asked questions about the vehicle and advised that I would call back if I decided to drive an hour to look at it. Called back told them I was heading their way and asked them to pull it up front. Did also confirm it was still available and was told it indeed was. Arrived at the dealership and was told that vehicle was totaled 3 days prior. Was this a huge misrepresentation / bait and switch? Certainly, feels like it. I did end up buying a new vehicle. It is now over 2 months since the purchase and still no title or plates. Upon contacting Austin, the assistant GM at the dealership without any research he blamed the delay on the state of WI saying that they are backed up. I contacted the state of WI to find out the dealership has never sent in the vehicle paperwork. Dealers in the state of IL have 20 days to get the paperwork sent or they are in violation. Sadly, upon calling the dealership back and sharing the paperwork was never sent in there was not even so much as an apology. Could have cared less. It's been, lies, excuse after excuse and the run around. The current temporary plate expires in 3 weeks and the dealership told me I needed to call the state of IL to extend it. I asked for their help as their customer and the GM Alex told me no. I asked for the owner of the dealerships contact information and was told no. Asked that he have the owner call me and of course no call back. I will never be back, nor would I recommend this dealership to my worst enemy! Please think twice before visiting this dealership as I assumed this was a very reputable dealership that sadly turned out to a huge disappointment and time consumption to have to chase down what I paid them to do. We agreed to go forward and purchase the vehicle. We sat down with the finance guy - Mark and right away he was pitching the extended warranty and more. Much to our shock the price had been increased by close $3000 - due to the HAPPY PACKAGE - which is tires for the life of your car. (Buyers remorse as we called Amir the salesman the next day and told it was a mandatory package). The fine print was conveniently not explained. You are not provided with copies of the papers you signed -instead they transfer it all on a USB drive which you pick up days later. Once we were able to go thru the paperwork on the USB and read the fine print realized that you must bring your new car into their dealership for maintenance by the scheduled time periods and if you do not the package will be VOIDED. read more

We bought our van at this dealership and have had it serviced there for 9 years when we could have gone anywhere. A couple months ago, the van started running hot, so we immediately stopped driving and had it towed to a different dealer (we were in Rockford). They replaced some coolant lines and sent us on our way. A few miles from home, the van started running hot again. We made sure there was coolant in the radiator and drove it to Gurnee. They said the water pump needed to be replaced. So they replaced the water pump and sent us on our way. A couple days later, the van started running hot again. We drove it back to Gurnee. They had it for a week or two and then told us that the engine had seized. They said it would cost $9,000 for a new one. To add insult to injury, they expect us to pay $179 for whatever service they performed on our van before THEY seized the engine in order to release our vehicle. Dodge service departments had 3 opportunities to fix the problem before the damage was catastrophic. Because of their failure to find and fix the problem, we have lost a vehicle that we expected to drive for several more years. WOW was I taken back I will say my deal was not easy to get approved but they worked so hard to get it done and was upfront with me and so honest. My son's Jeep had dashboard indicator lights and messages and the engine was racing. Took it in and they said they couldn't reproduce the error. The error was literally telling you what it was on the dashboard. Kept it a week. We drove it to another mechanic shop and they diagnosed it immediately. Part was on back-order because apparently this was a big issue with jeeps. The other mechanic fully fixed the issue. Will never go back - unacceptable and lazy. read more

I had an amazing experience with Alonzo as my salesman, but that ended quickly with Mark(finance) and Briana's (title) failure to adequately do their job. Mark spoke over me and raised his voice several times to me during my transaction. He was upset I was denying gap coverage and his response was to yell "You listen to me". And when I brought to his attention that they have the incorrect name, " Welp, looks like you're in a pickle" chuckling. Frankly I've never been to an establishment that the audacity to think that type of behavior was professional. They put my vehicle under the wrong business name and yet over 100 days later I still do not have it corrected nor have my tags and registration as promised now for months. I had to twist their arm to get a bill of sale as I was provided absolutely nothing besides a temporary 90 day registration. Though I paid for them to provide my plates I had to purchased temporary 30 day tags to hopefully buy myself sometime to receive them from them at some point. Unfortunately I would not know because it's been a week since they've spoken to me, not returning emails nor multiple voicemails left. Sales people were either extremely pushy or rude. I told one that I wanted to look at both Wrangler's and Grand Cherokee's. Instead of showing both, I was only shown a Wrangler and was being pushed towards buying a car that I wasn't completely satisfied with. Another salesman sped past us in the parking lot after returning from a test drive. We were waiting for another car to move and he pulled in front of us, then reversed and sped back. ABSOLUTE SCAM OF A DEALERSHIP!! Beware I bought a 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer from these guys over 100k vehicle and I so sorry I did let me explain the experience I have had. They lie you when you're talking about purchase price first we agreed on a lease for the suv. We went over pricing and we was fine with it. Then right when your singing the contract they tell you it's a finance not a lease after you sign the paperwork they also lie about the monthly payment we agreed on a price and when the payment comes in it's 200 higher then what they tell you in the dealership they also change your extended warranty without telling you like mine was suppose to 100k miles bumper to bumper full warranty. They didn't even give me extended warranty at all I found that out after my suv needed service and they stated that I had extended warranty multiple times the sales men finance manager and I all spoke and agreed on me having extended warranty so they just took that money and pocketed it for them selfs without telling you. What a scam these guys are running And trying to get a loaner car when your car is in the shop is nearly impossible even when they say we treat our customers with white gloves is a lie. Remember I bought a suv for over 100k and the loaner they wanted to give me was a 5 year old car with a check engine light that smelled so bad like marijuana with over 100k miles. I asked nicely to get a different car they wouldn't budge untill I had to make a scene in their show room that my 2 year old can't ride in a car that smells like that. Let alone barley running. There service is a joke they always say nothing wrong with my personal car when a check engine light is on and it's literally brand new with less then 5k miles on it. And they make you wait months and months to book a service appointment to only put you in a broken down rental like I stated up above. I had been to a few dealerships looking for a Jeep Summit but none of the salesman could tell me much about the product. I saw a couple Summits available at this dealership so I went down and met Alonzo Massey, this young gentleman was exceptional at his job! There was not a question that he could not answer. Don't buy a car from this dealer!! I bought a Jeep Compass last year from them. They will sell you a service package called the Gurnee Package. It promises tires for life. However, when you go into their Service Department they will NOT honor it. Even though my tires have 38K miles on them. I waited 2.5 hours in their waiting room for them to tell me that they aren't replacing my tires. I was also there to buy a new Grand Cherokee from them and they still don't care.
