I was at the Ugg store today and purchased UGGs and was told we were getting the best price available that there was nowhere cheap cheaper. When we left the store we checked online and UGG sells them for $20 less online and every other retailer was selling them for $20. So not only is the outlet not cheaper. If I could give this location zero stars, I would. I went in I visited the store today with my grandmother, hoping to find her some casual slip-on Uggs. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by poor customer service. While we were initially greeted by a young gentleman, that was the last positive interaction we had. When I approached the register to request a specific size, the young woman barely acknowledged me as she got off her phone. Instead of actively assisting me, she simply pointed towards the shoes and carelessly placed a pair on the display shelf without even handing them to me. She didn't make eye contact, nor did she show any interest in helping me further. I found this encounter particularly disappointing. Given that the display was located near the entrance and there were no shoes visible underneath the table, I had no way of knowing where to find what I needed. This lack of engagement and assistance has led me to conclude that I would prefer to shop online rather than endure such poor in-store service in the future. I wanted a cute pair that were 40% off with the ribbons in the back but my jeans kept falling out the back so i didn't chose those. I decided to take a peak at there clearance section in the back and they had an adorable pink pair that were way more user friendly and they were marked down from the original price of $170 to $120 and final sale to $60. Now your talking :-)) The salesman was trying to be friendly but he didn't seem to understand english. He kept smiling and everytime i would ask him something he would say something to me I didn't understand and kept smiling. Oh well at least he was friendly. The phone was ringing off the hook the whole time I was standing in line and the clerks behind the register just kept ignoring it. What if a customer really needed to talk to you?? Hmmm. I worked there as seasonal and can definitely say that about 85% of the store is the same price you find at a full on retail Ugg store or online. They carry a tiny section of men's footwear, it is almost never on sale and the prices range from $150-300. Besides the free pair I got when they hired me, I never saw much worth spending over. The only possible deal you'll find is clearance. I once got some slip ons there because they were only $34 with the clearance + employee discount, and they are super squeaky. They laid seasonals off with no notice and in my case, after asking for over two weeks if I would be kept or not and being given run around statements, they gave me a bs story about how they had called all the seasonals to inform them of the lay off but waited to tell me in person (which is a blatant lie because I kept in touch with a few seasonals and none of them got a call...ever!) and proceeded to tell me it was my last day. I wasn't even that upset. We just went through management change and it was all going down south. But really Deckers Corporation? You paint yourself to be so forward thinking and hip. Smh. I got a pair of Swarovski slippers for 27bucks, 2 pairs of tall clasic and triple button UGGS from $50 and $40bucks along with a pair of short uggs that were $35bucks! Yea I was in awe and I think I'll be coming back before Black Friday and Xmas since I think summer sales are when you need to buy winter stuff to really get the discounts. HOWEVER.. Unfortunately if you are a size 7,8,9 and 10 you won't find a lot on the clearance section. The prices on the other uggs aren't ideal deals. So if you are a big footed woman like me and you want to get A sweet deal go check not only this store but all outlet uggs stores. They carry the same deals on big uggs. read more

Ahhh... the Ugg outlet.... what can I say about this place... other than... I don't usually buy any of my Uggs here... I get them much cheaper than this... and I would hardly call this place an outlet. The shoes are typically about $10-20 off retail price. That doesn't sound like an outlet to me! ... but I have at least 20 pairs of Uggs... they're so warm and comfortable! :) but I usually get them for more than 50% off their retail price...and I have gotten those prices and ones that haven't even been released yet.... but I am definitely not mentioning how I do this. UGG, please consider re-tooling to accomplish the following: 1) a recycling campaign that collects the many rubber soles of the UGG brand for transformation into new shoes +/or other product. As well, conjure up an application for old sheepskin that would reduce our carbon footprint. A discount to consumers who participate would be a fun incentive for an earth friendly promotion. 2) And, our hearts + souls would be elevated if the sheep that lose their lives to coddle our feet could feed impoverished communities in all corners of the world. Had a gift of UGG mule slip-ons. The inner sole of one shoe lost fur prematurely. I wanted to have just the inner sole of the shoe replaced. They said no repairs at their Camarillo Customer Service Dept. It is a mistake to buy or gift UGG shoes without replaceable inner soles. A major design flaw is that the exterior of the shoe is durable and lasts much longer than the inner soles. But, without a replaceable sole, the fur lined comfort + aesthetic is lost in short order and their is no recourse i.e. no option to repair or insert another fur-lined inner sole. Bottom-line, you are left with a high-priced but bald and ugly pair of shoes after a short window of wear time. The gifting soul feels ripped off and the shoe owner's left with a revised take on UGG product design and customer service: Low Marks! read more

Took 45 minutes to exchange boots. Lots of floor salespeople - none of which could do much without asking someone else how to do it. When I purchased, the receipt didn't print out correctly/jammed, so they printed out another. When I went to exchange sizes, it took three people to do it. Another problem: only two people seem to know how to do anything, so when either is helping you, they are being constantly interrupted with questions from others. Why hire people and not train them?? Then, they said they'd have to find it at another store. Only one person available knew how to do that. This was singularly the worst after Christmas shopping experience at this entire Outlet Center. I was first greeted by a female who was helpful when I explained the process she would be facing. She didnt have a nametag so I didnt know how to address her when I had questions. She right away called for the Stock Manager (Matthew) who was a delight in meeting. He was super helpful, polite, and offered so much help and provide knowledge. Shopping at this store was my all time worst experience buying UGGs. I went to this location on black Friday hoping to find a good price on these very expensive shoes. When I approached the store, I noticed two large red signs in the window that read "30-40% off on select shoes." When I saw this, I immediately decided to wait in line. The line moved quickly at first, but then it slowed down tremendously. After I had already waited about 40 mins the guards basically waited for the entire store to clear out before letting any people in. We all stood there without moving for an additional 20 mins, while he waited for the store to empty out entirely. Once I finally entered the store, I approached one of the associates to ask where the sale items were. She replied, "We are trying to tell people. There is no sale. We are offering 40% off those two styles, but that's all and we've had those available for the last week." When I looked at both styles on sale, I noticed that those didn't even have fur inside! I was livid! I waited in their line for over an hour, only to discover that there wasn't really a sale after all. They literally pulled a bait and switch. I reluctantly ended up purchasing one pair of boots at full price. When the cashier asked me if I found everything alright I told her how frustrated I was about the misinformation, she didn't say anything and didn't even offer a small discount. I mean really, not even 10% off. These people are fundamentally screwed up! It is unbelievable that one black Friday you have absolutely no sale at all, but there are huge signs that mislead shoppers. This was by far the worst decision I have ever made. I would believe that I would get information about my UGG's within a week or two after the shipping day but NO I received an email for credit on the online store for my Ugg's THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY! I believe this is amazing customer service...plus the credit added was including the amount of money I used to ship the product out there. Everything worked better than I believed it would.
