I asked them to clean up my cuticles on my toes and nothing was done, again she was in a hurry to help others. I went to this nail salon to get a simple gel manicure, and I decided to go to this one because a couple years ago I had great service and beautiful nails. Today however, I walked out with uneven, and sloppily painted nails that I probably could've done myself. I don't mean to be rude because they were civil to me and she gave me a little massage (the only reason I tipped)... I think they were using old gel and honestly I would've rather just chosen a different color to get a fresher and more even manicure. The woman was very harsh and it hurt but I didn't want to say anything because she seemed annoyed by anything I said (like when I asked her to clip my nails). Anyways, I guess it's hit or miss? I've been going here for years, and they are absolutely fabulous. Great place to decompress from life and get pampered. High-quality nail services from all the ladies. If you want an intricate/detailed/specialty design, ask for Chelsea or Leah, they are both incredible artists. But, again, all the girls do great work. I get complemented on my nails all the time. I got a basic pedicure, with a quick soak and scrub then cut and polish. They didn't cut my cuticles, excess skin or do callus removal, but again, I paid for the basic $15 package. I did get acrylic nails with gel which came out nicely. The ladies are very nice, speak primarily Vietnamese, and do try to upsell services, so be aware--that's how I got my gel nail upgrade. I did get a price reduction which was really nice of Lani, so 31 bucks for my gel acrylics. I may be a noob at being girly and getting my nails done, especially fake nails, but my experience has always been painful. The nail drill that goes around the cuticle around the skin, drew a little blood on two fingers, it made me wonder if that happens often and if they sanitize those tools. I'm paranoid I'm going to get a blood bourne illness/infection. I also noticed they don't use tub liners for their pedicure soaking tubs. Hmmm I guess they scrub them with bleach afterwards, I don't know. I should have asked. Just be aware. Overall good looking end results and price, just a few concerns noted above. I never complain on here but...my mom, my daughter and I went here to treat ourselves for Mother's day. The lady botched my manicure, it was embarrassing and I couldn't wait to tear it off. I asked for acrylic nails like my daughter got and wanted purple and gold as she just got accepted to UW and she ignored most of my requests, the only part she did right was my pedicure, which was just purple. TERRIBLE RUINED MY CUTILES. All of my nail cuticles were bleeding, poor nail polish coverage (uneven and no polish on the tips or side). This is the first time getting acrylics instead of hard gel and I'm mortified the nail itself is lumpy and uneven. I wish I could put zero stars!! Also they didn't even put a towel under my hands, they worked over A (SINGULAR) paper towel. They knocked only a few bucks off the price and put cuticle on after they could see I was clearly unhappy. I called in ahead of time to make sure there would be room for me and when I went in they seemed to be confused as to who I talked to. Place looks nice, my pedi cost $26 + $10 gel + $3 cuz it's their new unicorn color=$39 for 20-25mins pedi . $26 for my husband pedi which is he's done In like 15mins or less. Got a full set of a Pink Sparkle Manicure for my trip to Vegas the next day. Not even a week in and the Nails started chipping. The lady did not put on a top coat, and my sister had to mention it for me. Along side of that, she did not put even amounts of layers on each sides of the nails. She bumped into my ring finger and just covered it up with a big fat bump. I felt confused and annoyed by how it seemed that there was bad talk about me just because I asked for a top coat. I did not know what the problem was, but since there was a sparkle on top of the pink it apparently should not be shiney ?? All I kept hearing was "sparkle" in the sentences of vietnamese. I came here with my mother to have manicures. In all honesty, my nails do look great. I got a gel manicure and the color is fantastic, my nails were totally filled in with lacquer, they are shiny and smooth. However, the customer service bummed me out a bit. First of all, we came in together, mother and daughter, after not seeing each other in 5 months. I was visiting from LA, and it was my first day in town. They separated us at two different tables!!! We were initially seated right next to each other so we could chat and shoot the shit, catch up on life. As soon as she realized I needed the (portable) UV light for my gel manicure, they moved me and separated us from each other! What the hell??!?? Never have I gone with a companion to have our nails done, and separated. That's 100% of the fun, going together and sitting next to each other. Second, I had a Yelp deal... 5$ off service $26 or more. My gel manicure was 24$, so they wouldn't honor the coup. I asked if I could buy something else to make it 26$.... Nope!! That just seems so lame. If I had gotten some stupid flower or Seahawks logo drawn on, I would've been able to get $5 off, no doubt. Psssssh. Furthermore, the up-selling is downright annoying. I get it, you need to make a living and it makes sense to upsell in business. But no, I do not want a flower. No, I do not want paraffin wax treatment. I have had Chelsea  do my nails for about 10 years. When she left ,where she was working and bought this business it took me sometime to find her. When I found Chelsea I choice to go the extra miles and time to go to her. I never really had too much trouble with my nails. I would go in every couple weeks or three weeks and was very happy. I did try a couple places I was never very happy, I decided after 19 months I needed to start getting my nails and pedicures done again to help my Diabetes. one week after I had them done somewhere else. My sister's hand without it even being 1 week after getting them done by one of the most impolite people we've ever paid for service. We consider getting our nails done as a luxury so we were pretty excited. However, when we arrived, we already felt rushed. It was full but that's never an excuse to take away from a customer's experience. Both of the ladies doing our nails were just talking to each other and when the lady doing my sister's nails (she was an older woman) would talk to my sister, her tone was always rude and sounded like she was annoyed. She removed my nails and told me my nail beds were really thin and she had me promise I wouldn't have the nails removed for a while so that they could heal! My wife and daughter have been here a few times with a friend who recommended the place. Its unfortunate that I am writing this review but I am upset with the most recent visit they just had. My wife was totally treated poorly while my daughter and my wife's friend were taken care of . The person taking care of my wife acted like they barley wanted to do the manicure. Being forceful and not very nice and that's unprofessional. She felt rushed and like the girl didn't even want to touch her and that she was bothered . After the treatment was done she just walked away without saying a word. I would hate to think it's racial buts it's suspicious that my wife who is darker skin gets treated like that and my daughter and my wife's friend ( who both look white) get treated and pampered with no problem. These ladies were amazing. While traveling through the area on vacation my daughter and I stopped to get our fingers and toes done. Place is very clean, in fact one of the cleanest nail salons I've ever come across. Very well decorated and several people there spoke English well. My daughter is six and got both a pedicure and a manicure, they treated her like a princess and she very much enjoyed the experience. I was there to get a full set and was impressed at how gentle and quick they managed to take my last set off. I also was very excited to try the new cat Eye nails that they introduced to me. They are amazing possibly, one of the coolest sets of nails I've ever had and I constantly get compliments on them. If I lived in the area I would for sure make them my regular nail salon. read more

Not anymore.... if you don't upgrade from the basic pedicure or get a gel polish (more money) they are rude and they rush.
