We hadn't eaten here in over a year. We remembered it to be one of the best for take out. This food was inedible and, literally, went into the garbage. The General Taos chicken was dry and pasty with NO flavor. My husband's Pork Souy had a sauce that was so bitter with a bad taste he could not eat it. The steamed dumplings were RAW and cold. Don't know if this business was just having a bad day because I have gotten take out in the past and it was pretty good. Today hubby and I both did not enjoy our lunch entrees. He had the pork with vegetables. He likes the pork sliced thin, and it wasn't. He said it was tough and hard to chew. Not much variety in the vegetables. I had the shrimp Kung Pao. I like spicy food, and this wasn't. It was covered in a thick brown sauce that tasted like too much cornstarch. Vegetables weren't cooked enough. The pork fried rice was ok. So far I've tried and obsessed with: - Wonton soup ( the Wontons are to die for... Great Catering! My kids wanted Chinese for their rehearsal dinner, so my wife called to see if they catered. We ended up getting rice, white and fried, and Veggie lo mein. We ordered Sesame chicken, General Tso's, Beef and Broccoli, and chicken egg rolls. We ordered food for 50 people, had more than enough food. Many people commented how good the food was. The food was fresh, they were still finishing cooking it as we arrived. The quality was better than I had thought would be possible. We were very impressed and will definitely try this place for normal take out soon. Well after we finish the leftovers we already have. :-) read more

The second worse in Ormond Beach. No flavor, no taste, and as hungry as I was, I could not even force myself to eat. Boneless Ribs were cinnamon sweet, disgusting taste. Schechuang chicken was not spicy at all. Greasy oozing spring rolls, that paper towels could not save. Hot and sour soup that a one year old would find tasteless. Dried rice, and a bottle of soy sauce could not give it flavor. Entire food went to the trash. Normally, I go back for my money, but decided to review instead. Just moved to Ormond Beach. Need to find a real Chinese food place. Save your money, frozen food would be a thousand times better. read more

Unbelievable. I guess the saying that no good deeds go unpunished is true in this case. After hearing that restaurant businesses are struggling due to the Coronavirus outbreak, I thought I should be a good neighbor and support local businesses, but what did I get? Not a decent meal. That is for sure. A guy who claimed to be the owner yelled at me for using the diction that he did not like. I thought the place is a Chinese restaurant. I didn't know that the restaurant is a place is where the owner insults how you speak. Best steamed dumplings!! Despite my having to move further away, I come here all the time for those dumplings, love the food here. I also order their Crab Rangoon which are good. I LOVE their Kung Pao Chicken dinner. I think that's my fav here besides the steamed dumplings. I've tried their wonton soup, Bourbon chicken, General Tso's, and Beef&Broccoli. All delicious. Just moved into the area (May), and this is the first place I've tried for Chinese food. I've had better, but this place really isn't bad. The krabmeat rangoons were awesome, as were the dumplings (although the dipping sauce could be a bit thicker), the shrimp egg rolls, and the spring rolls. Mu shu was pretty good (first time trying it); beef and broccoli was superb; Szechuan Beef, not so much - should have asked for it spicy hot...it was pretty mild. Overall, I'd order from them again, at least until I find some place better. I recommend the house fried rice....it is very good. read more

They don't even deserve the one star that they got. My wife and I ordered food and I got the wrong order. When I got home we opened up the food and saw what it was, we called back and asked if they could please fix it and they said we needed to pay for it again, we asked again and they hung up on us. On top of them refusing to fix our order, my wife's food "Lo Mein" tastes like packaged ramen noodles and are guaranteed to be pre made and packaged like I'm sure most of their food is. NOT FRESH. On top of all that they treated us with disrespect and were rude with us from the moment we stepped foot into their door. I would never recommend them to anyone. Gave this place a 5 star review at first because they were excellent. The food was fresh and very tasty....the best in the area. However, like most of the restaurants in the area, it has sadly been disappointing. The last 2 times ordering from there, the food was very, very salty to the point where I couldn't eat it. Also, the soup was a congealed blob. Had to throw out. Had it remained consistent, I would've continued using this place as my go to Chinese restaurant but now my search continues. read more
