The restaurant is located in a strip mall - clean, neat with a few tables and booths (but you can also reserve for large groups). This place was on the list to try and I'm so glad we did! First, Alice, who is one of the owners, waited on us and could not have been more friendly or personable - she is a joy! The restaurant serves a number of different Asian cuisines - in addition to Chinese there are Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese offerings as well. We started with pan-fried gyoza which were SO good - fresh and flavorful. Hubs loves kimchi so had to try theirs - he inhaled the bowl and declared it amazing (I'm not a fan but it did smell yummy and garlicky!!). He enjoyed it so much he got an order to go as well. I tried my go-to Chinese favorite Kung Pao Chicken - it was quite good, well spiced, full of fresh veggies and lots of peanuts. Next time I'll probably get it with shrimp or tofu. Hubs had Pad Kee Mao with chicken (Thai hot!) and loved it. Although we were too full, the almond pudding on the menu did sound good - maybe next time!

Buffet servers go above and beyond your typical waitstaff so remember this at tip time, please. The buffet is hot and well maintained. Don't forget to have some ice-cream with your desserts before you leave. Oh, and Sunday is dinner all day. Dinner is also very reasonably priced and includes some of the biggest, fresh, raw oysters we've seen in any restaurant.

We started with the Som Tam papaya salad at a medium and it had a perfect kick with the sour-sweet-funk punch of lime, fish sauce, rock sugar, probably some tamarind? I had to try the Summer Breeze Rolls because I was actually first introduced to this restaurant by their stalls set up at various local farmers markets and the peanut sauce is out of this world, perfectly sweet and salty and a little curry spice kick as well. The rolls were wrapped a bit loose but I love that they grill the shrimp and also stuff mostly with lettuce instead of a ton of noodles so the rolls were more crisp than squish/starch. I got the panang curry medium and I think I could have gone a step up on heat but it was a nice mild burn that let the flavor of the sauce shine through. The veggies were crisp, the chicken tender, and I was happy with every bite. My father got the Lard Na 100 with crispy duck (a $10.50 upcharge but so worth it, so well cooked and crisp!) and loved it, just had no heat despite ordering it medium. I was impressed with the noodles - wide rice noodles but cooked firm so they didn't fall apart but had a delightful chew. The service was friendly, attentive, and super helpful with suggestions on heat level since we hadn't been before and didn't know if they pulled their punches (they don't, so start at a level below what you usually get elsewhere). We're now on a quest to eat our way through the menu!

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken for take out. It was very bland with not taste, the chicken was hot, but not as crispy as I asked for. What turned me off, was when eating the fried rice, I found some black hair follicles in the rice, and I know it was not mine. After that, I could not eat any more. This is THE BEST Chinese takeout in the area! I have never been disappointed. My favorites include Steamed Dumplings, Mongolian Beef, General's Chicken, Crab Rangoons, and Hot and Sour Soup.
