The place is very organized and clean. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. I had a 60min foot and back massage for $38 in cash before tip (it would be $40 if you pay with a card) with Peter, which is a common price for most of Chinese massage places in the town. I was not particularly impressed by the back massage to be honest (probably because my neck and shoulder pain is too severe to be cured by just a one time massage, but it was relieved for a little bit); however the foot massage is extraordinary. Totally legit here! I'm very weary of foot massage places. I had a shady experience in Chinatown Brooklyn...moving on. Despite the limited reviews, wish more people would review this place. I really enjoyed it here. I was very comfortable with Sarah. We were able to communicate just fine. I did the full body massage #5-60 mins full body and 20 mins feet for only $60. I was treated to a large private room separated by curtains. I had on my cordless headset and had my own spa music on. It was very nice. I came out feeling so much better. It was so good, I brought my gf here for her birthday. We did the $25 foot massage for 1 hour. Everyone is treated to a salt foot bath, then you get a full body massage and feet. It's not a private room, it's out in the open but those massage chairs that folds out to a bed was so comfy! They were able to accommodate both of us on the fly. They called in more staff. Sarah was working on me and then Linda came in. Linda has stronger hands or something since I like deeper pressure when it comes to my back and shoulders. They play great spa music. My whole body hurt when I woke up today because I'm sick so I decided to get a back massage. I found them on yelp and it was only $25! It looked and cost exactly as what I saw on Yelp. Great relaxing and professional massage. If you've never been to Chinese massage place, this is different than a typical spa massage. There's no private room. The massage tables/bed are all in the same room. You're fully clothed for a massage. NOT a big deal. Wear casual, comfortable yoga/loose pants and long or short sleeves T-shirt. The room is dimmed light but not dark. It's clean. The foot soak tub has disposable liners. Relaxing music and waterfall in the background. Masseurs are professionals. My masseur asked me a few times if the pressure was good or I wanted lighter/deeper pressure. Prices are reasonable. #2 is their most popular- 30min foot and 30min body massage. $40 credit card. Entering the place I was immediately greeted. Joy's is nice and clean. I chose the $25 foot massage and was quite impressed by it. An hour long massage of foot and body it doesn't get better than this. That said, you do end up sharing a communal room with other customers while you are getting massaged. That didn't bother me. My masseuse was extremely kind and attentive, though he didn't speak English very well. He would occasionally ask me if I was okay so that he could readjust his hand pressure. Clean, professional, courteous, and top-notch massage. I highly recommend this place. They start with a lovely foot soak that feels so relaxing. The service is amazing - prompt and always courteous. Even if you get a "foot massage" it's more like an all over massage. Wear comfy loose clothing, because they massage right over your cloths. They put a towel over you to keep you warm. This is a great place to try a massage if you don't mind lying out in the open, albeit dark room with everyone else, for a cheaper price than American massage places. I will say it threw me off that they massaged my glutes, so just be forewarned if that might startle you as it did for me. The masseuse was very professional and did an excellent job, she really loosened up some knots in my back I didn't even know I had. Awesome spot! For $25 you can't beat it and it was honestly one of the best massages I've had. They work out your knots but it's also relaxing. It's an open space similar to a nail spa but all massage chairs. I didn't mind being in the open you keep your clothes on so I would recommend wearing shorts or loose sweatpants so they can massage your legs. I will be going back for sure! read more

Most places were already closed or full, when I called joy spa they were very friendly and were able to book me an appointment right away. I drove straight there. When I walked in I immediately felt relaxed because of the calming & peaceful atmosphere. I got a "back & foot massage" for one hour, it was just $35! The massage beds are out in an open room, which made it very comfortable especially as a first timer. They would ask every now & then how the pressure was etc & were very accommodating.
