They were charging me about $19 something plus. (A customer who was picking up a small hat dry cleaned paid about $20.) I told the lady there I will think about it with the plan of never ever going back. I proceeded to Sparkle Cleaners and they charge me $9 something (see picture of receipt). On a Sat morning once, the store did open a little later than posted on Yelp (like 10-15 minutes) and there was 2-3 other customers waiting as well. ps - i used to be able to find the store location on yelp and the map feature, but it seems to be harder to find, when searching "dry cleaning" or "dry cleaners". you can find it on Google Maps. just a fyi for the store owners

What I'd like to point out first, is that the super kind human who took our order was absolutely that: super kind. My partner and I felt good about our research and choice of NextGen, and the wire rack piled to the top with comforters, mattress pads and other bedding only furthered our confidence. Sadly, once we removed the bed from the bag, I felt confused that perhaps the wrong item had been picked up. It looked nearly identical to when we'd first brought it to NextGen, but with quite a few more strands of (different lengths) of hair stuck to it throughout. Secondly, almost every quilted square of the bed had faux filling bunched up in a variety of balls--I had originally purchased the square patterned bed to avoid this problem once cleaned. :( I wanted to bring my item back immediately, however, my health at the time did not allow it. The owner's response below claiming this is from "mixing fabric types" is a complete lie and scientifically impossible. Fabric mixing does not create industrial mechanical grease--failing machine bearings and leaky seals do. More importantly, I have video confirmation from their own employee explicitly admitting that the damage was caused by their faulty washing machine. Instead of owning up to their equipment failure, the owners have ignored me directly and chose to post nonsense excuses publicly to avoid paying for the damage. Zero accountability and terrible business ethics. Do not trust them with your clothes. They will ruin your items and then try to gaslight you. Currently working with the BBB either this company.

It wasn't until the second time I went that they explained what had happened. This is a risk in the way that the business is run, I get it. What bothers me is how they handled the situation. I needed to follow up with them. They didn't offer any compensation for the delay (or loss of item). Even after I provided them my information, it was up to me to follow up with them. It your business is to be the middle person for someone else's work, then I think customer service should be your top priority. Feels like they have lost their way here.
