My intern/friend and I decided to grab a quick lunch while preparing for an experience nearby and I'm so glad that we did. Which Wich is a sandwich shop that has a pretty interesting ordering setup. With a bright and clear menu that welcomes you as you enter the shop, you begin with choosing your sandwich size. From there, guests can grab a marker and begin to craft their ideal sandwich based on the wide variety showcased on the menu. You can choose between various toppings like veggies, spreads, different cheeses, you name it. With all of the listeria outbreaks happening around the US, I was definitely apprehensive, so I went in with that in mind. I opted for an Italian sub with extra hot peppers, spicy mustard, light mayo, etc etc. All of the things I shouldn't have, but was craving. I haven't had a sandwich in monthssss and needed it to be cooked at certain temperature. I was incredibly nervous about that but the sweet woman (I hate that I don't remember her name and it wasn't on my receipt! :-( ) behind the counter assured me that she understood my needs and wow, did she! She toasted the meat for my sandwich first and then put it on my sandwich and toasted it again to be sure that the temperature was correct. What an angel. My sandwich was perfect! Omg. I wish I would have gotten a bigger one how I scarfed it down, lol. It was incredibly flavorful, the spicy peppers, pickles and jalapenos really took it to another level. Beyond the awesome service and sandwich, the restaurant itself was clean, spacious and full of tables if guests wanted to sit and enjoy their meals. Not bad. You pick your bread (white/wheat) sauces, veggies etc. then write your name at the bottom of the bag & the sandwich artist will call them when your food is ready. This location is pretty spacious with indoor & outdoor seating. It was also clean. The reg sandwiches were a pretty good size little over a 6 inch. They have lots of sandwiches to choose from, so I'll be back to try more.

So then he says, "what you want another fish or something?" After responding that we don't even have Pennies and asking him is that his conclusion...he walks away, no resolution just attitude. We waited at least another 30 minutes, and nothing came. My sister asked for her check close to 1PM. At that point he brought out her food, which he stated he "stole" from the kitchen. So after waiting at least 30 minutes, her to-go order actually had not been prepared. At that point he mentioned to me that the kitchen informed him they didn't have any chickpea patties prepped and were making it fresh. My sister had to leave, and I continued to wait. At 1:10PM I decided I would cancel the order whenever the bartender showed back up, and he happened to walk around the corner with my food. I immediately requested a box and the bill. I received the ticket and was charged 1.00 per honey mustard which was never mentioned. I paid my bill, packed up my food, finished my beer and left. I got into my car, looked closely at the food and realized the bacon I paid 3.00 extra for was missing. I was over the entire experience, and decided I wasn't going back inside to wait longer for bacon. Disappointing experience overall.

Christine is truly one of a kind. What she and her team have created in Hapeville goes far beyond great food and good service. Over time, I've even had the pleasure of meeting Christine's mother, father, and son. That tells you something about the kind of place this is. I've been a regular at Jpresso since last year, and it has easily become my favorite local haunt. If you're looking for a spot with character, this is it. The vibe is reminiscent of Central Perk from Friends, minus the big orange couch, with an incredibly cool, eclectic aesthetic. The shop is filled with vintage antiques, knick-knacks, and "hidden gems" that make it feel so lived-in and cozy. Even if there's a brief wait for your drink, you can spend it browsing through rare comics in sleeves, old cameras, and unique collectibles tucked away on the shelves. While the coffee is consistently excellent, the real heart of the shop is the owner, Christine. She is a true saint and a total sweetheart who remembers every customer by name. This little shop is amazing! Everything here is very personalized and detailed just like you are entering your nana's home or her attic. I see familiar items as I was growing up. The latte is amazing too. They have freshly roasted beans that make a great espresso drink. I enjoyed acai and gluten free granola bowl. It exceeded my expectation. And most of all, the CUSTOMER SERVICE YA!!!! They greet and treat you like a family. They made sure I liked my drink before I exit out. You've got to check out this hidden gem! Don't let the exterior fool you - the moment I stepped in, I was blown away by the incredible vibe and eclectic decor. The service was top-notch, thanks to the super-friendly hostess who greeted me with a beaming smile. She made sure I had an amazing experience and even asked, "Did you love it?" before I left.
