Anytime we've gone to JP's we've had a fantastic time. We travel about an hour to get to JP's and the ride is always worth it. The vibe at JP's is great and you get close proximity to the performers. JP's has classes to help you become a Stand-Up comedian and their staff are always welcoming and fun. I wear JP t-shirts and have had people approach me to talk about how much they enjoy JP's Comedy Club. We enjoy taking guests to JP's for a night out and laughs. JP's is a good comedy club experience. The evening I attended, there were four 5-minute comedians and one headliner. All were good. They all had uniquely different acts. I have two suggestions for the venue. The first is that the chairs are not very comfortable due to thin padding on chairs. I was uncomfortable after the first 30 minutes. The second is the bar was out of the beverage I wanted (Bud Lite) and offered the worst substitute imaginable (Coors Lite). read more

Several of my friends go here for fun and entertainment. My husband and I go with friends as well. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The comedians are funny, but once in awhile one slips in that's not too funny. All good because they normally have 4 or 5 comedians. read more

Went here with another couple as they had a coupon and honestly, I was not expecting much from a comedy club in a strip mall. It is true what they say do not judge a book by the cover. Everything was amazing from the time we walked in the door. The acts were great. Had some good laughs and good drinks best part wise we were supporting a local family run small business. JP's is a great place to see comedy! I've attended several shows since they first opened, since Covid. Awesome headliners and their open mic events that occur on some Thursdays are a nice way to get laughs in during the week. It's a clean club, conveniently located (no traffic), plenty of parking, it's family owned/operated - they will take care of you and make you laugh! A must see for comedy. read more

Love JP's comedy club. The acts may not be huge names that you see on tv or streaming services with their specials, but I find them to be better, much better than the big "up and coming" names. Great venue, great service, always tons of laughs. Just wish they had soap in the bathroom (it's a joke - they do, just pay attention if you go and you'll thank me later). read more

This was a great venue the owners are amazing the people they have for the show are top notch. They don't know this but I had a huge life moment that needed celebration for and I couldn't have picked a spot that truly made my night!!! Awesome little family owned comedy club! Every comedian we've ever seen has been hilarious. It's amazing they get such talented comedians for being in a strip mall in GIlbert. I just have 2 little complaints- While I appreciate they keep it very clean, maybe they could use a cleaner that doesn't have such a strong smell. Also, JP needs to switch up his act. It's the same every time. Although funny, it's not so funny hearing the same bit after 6 times. ;) read more

Went to JP's for the 1st time and loved it! The outside of the venue made it look a little iffy (small and in a strip mall), but it is actually an intimate, nice little place. Owned and operated by family (veterans). The comedians were a mix of local and national talent and because of the size, it was also a little interactive with the audience. Absolutely love this place! You can tell right away it's full of life thanks to organized, clean, and a welcoming atmosphere. The comics were hilarious, great balance of new and veteran comics, the drinks were reasonably priced, and the staff made everyone feel welcome. It's awesome to see a small local business creating such a fun community spot. One improvement that would go a long way is if they were able to open a kitchen and sell food along with the show. We've been to this business a couple of times and really have a nice time when we attend one of their shows. They have two shows on most nights 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. 7:00 p.m. shows perfect for an early dinner before and then head on over to JP's for a few laughs. Sign up online and URLs for cool drawings and free tickets occasionally. To drink minimum is not bad at all. They can be alcoholic beverages or non-alcoholic beverages. After a life changing Mental Health emergency/traumatic event, at home the weekend before, my boys and I, along with a girlfriend of mine, came by for a show on Saturday 3/12. It was nice to get out of the house and do something different to keep our minds off of real life. I am SO glad we came here. My 23-year-old got tickets from work, so there was no excuse not to go! There is a two-drink minimum, and they are a little pricey, however, totally worth it! You pay for the drinks upon entrance to the business and are given tokens for the second round. Although they state that the entrance is denied after the show starts, I was super grateful that they let my friend in once she arrived. We all had a blast, it felt so good to really laugh! My 21-year-old son is really into magic, so he was shocked to hear that a comic magician was on tap for the evening, he was absolutely thrilled! All of the comics were amazing, it was such a fun night. We caught the 7 PM show and sincerely enjoyed every second of it. JP and family are doing a great job, he is a great comic himself and is really good! Thank you for giving us a wonderful night out! read more
