All the comedians were hilarious as was JP. I really enjoyed the show but what ruined the experience was his wife, who was the "hostess". I had gone with my husband to meet some friends. My husband got in line to order our drinks and I went over to our friends to talk to them. Well, JP's wife comes over to me about buying drinks. I pointed at my husband to let her know he was in my line getting my drinks. I guess she didn't believe me as she walked over to him to ask him! Unbelievable! All throughout the night she walked around like she was having a bad day. I told my friend and he said she must be having a bad day. I told him the customers should not have to suffer for her misery! After the show they offered everyone free tickets to come back. I left our tickets on the table. It's a shame as I really did love the comedy but there are a lot of comedy clubs that provide great service so why would I go back here? read more

Went for the 1st time to celebrate me bday. I had a blast. Small place almost missed it. Inside looks way better. Nice, Clean & pretty. Great speakers they blare music while you wait for the show & I loved it. It's also a comedy school, which means you get a verity of seasoned and new comic nice mix. It was $15.00 a ticket and I didn't see when I bought tickets online that there was a 2 drink minimum. No alcohol (Yet) which I don't mind because I don't drink. We paid $26.00 for 4 cans if coke, no cups, no ice. That $6.51 a can. I hate Coke, I'm a Pepsi Freak. (p.s.) I heard they serve Pepsi now Yippy They need better drink options but I wasn't there for the drinks. I was there for laughs and fun which I had lots of. I just went in yesterday to do the open mic. The show at 7 was very funny and the staff was all very welcoming. This was my second time doing an open mic ever, and the whole club felt supportive. We are SO happy to have found JP's Comedy Club. What a gem in the town of Gilbert! Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by our friendly hostess. We then were presented to JP who helped us with our drinks before we sat down. Our hostess/waitress was super friendly, gave us amazing seats and checked in on us regularly throughout the night. We showed up about 20 min late, but the owner was very polite and comp'd our tickets. The line up was very funny and the hosts were very attentive but not disruptive to the show.
