    Zipps Wings

Came here with my friend the other. It was good, had some wings very nice and tasty. The server was good I don't remember his name but was nice and very patient with us. Also explained some of the food. The place was good but the music and tv were a little loud for me.

Nasty watered down ranch no joke.

The ranch is watered down literally no joke. This location is cheap AF for serving customers watered down condiments when they're to pay a premium for each side of condiment. This is the only zips location I have been to that does this. I asked the server if the ranch is going to be watery like this and she said yes because it's all premade in the morning and every ranch side will be watery like that lmao that is absolutely unacceptable to do to your customers. This location is a huge fail in my book. The only reason it's busy is because you have a bunch of people living right next to it and have live sports on otherwise it would be shut down as quick as it was when ICE shut them down.

Absolutely amazing service and the atmosphere was fantastic. I ordered fish and onions rings and my goodness this was the best I've had yet. The location is great and I do like the outside seating area. I never had to ask for refills once so great job to the waitress and management team. I will most definitely be back soon when I come to Arizona to visit. Thank You Zipps

Delicious cheese pizza! Easy to place takeout order and friendly staff. Pizza stays hot! Often busy so make sure you order early.

Zipps is a staple in Arizona. If you want the best bar food ever, go to Zipps. The service is good but very slow. We waited over 30 minutes just for our check. Be sure to get a zipparita , they're amazing!!!!

I had one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had at Zipps. I ordered a cheeseburger, and the server suggested "The Big Zipp," saying it came with cheese and sauce. Sounded good, so I said sure. Twenty minutes later, the burger arrives--no cheese, no sauce. Just a dry, overcooked hockey puck. We had small kids with us, so waiting for a new one wasn't an option. I politely asked the server if they could just remove it from the bill. Instead, she called her manager. Ten minutes later, he finally shows up--rude, defensive, and completely dismissive. He tells me it's my fault for ordering the wrong item and that there's "nothing he can do." I was stunned. I calmly explained that I'd asked for a cheeseburger and took the Big Zipp on the server's recommendation--but he refused to take any responsibility. No apology, no compromise, just attitude. And this is after we said nothing about the fries, which were swimming in grease and totally inedible. The food was terrible, but the service was even worse. The manager, David, should be ashamed of how he represents this business. As a business owner myself, I'd be horrified if someone on my team treated a guest this way. I won't be back--and I'll be telling anyone who will listen to steer clear. There are plenty of better places around. If this is how Zipps treats customers, they won't be around much longer.

Being early birds, we had the place practically to ourselves, which made for a relaxed, no-rush lunch. I ordered the Jucy Lucy, a cheddar jack stuffed patty on a pretzel bun with sweet potato fries. When I cut into it with the steak knife they give you, molten cheese came pouring out of the center of the patty. That's exactly what you want from a Jucy Lucy and this one delivered. The pretzel bun had that perfect glossy chew, shredded lettuce and what tasted like a Thousand Island-style sauce rounded it out, and the whole thing was gloriously messy. Sweet potato fries were crispy and well-seasoned, not soggy, which is always the gamble with sweet potato fries. My husband went with a double patty burger on a brioche bun with tater tots. Melted cheese was dripping down the sides and those tots came out golden and crunchy. He had no complaints. Paired everything with a pink lemonade cocktail (refreshing, ice-cold, lemon wedge garnish) and waters. Perfect for an Arizona afternoon. Service was quick -- probably helped that we were the early birds -- and the atmosphere is laid-back sports bar vibes with plenty of seating options including comfortable booths, tables, and bar seating. Only reason it's not five stars: it's a little on the pricey side for burgers. But when cheese is literally exploding out of your patty and it's cooked to your expectations, you're getting what you paid for. Would I come back? Absolutely

Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is the perfect place to catch a game, with TVs scattered throughout so you never miss the action. The food is consistently very good. A great way to start is with the Jumbo Soft Pretzel served with jalapeño cheese sauce. They also offer several styles of creamy mac and cheese, or you can build your own with a variety of proteins and veggies. I've also tried the teriyaki chicken sandwich with jack cheese and a pineapple ring, and it was cooked perfectly. One of my favorites on the menu is the hard-to-find-in-the-Valley Jucy Lucy cheeseburger, which is always a treat when you can find it done right. There really is something for everyone here, and it never disappoints.

We walked in just before 430 and the place was packed. That was totally unexpected. Not sure if its always like that or if it was because of the NBA finals. There are large screen TVs everywhere and all playing some sport on it. There was music playing too. With all the people, TV's and music it was very loud to say the least. Our server was super attentive and nice. I ordered the southwest eggrolls that came with a ranch dipping sauce (it was not traditional ranch but I forget what our server called it). It was $5 for my order. These eggrolls were AH-MAZING! The ranch was amazing too! Our server said all their dressings and sauces are made in house which you can definitely taste. My order came with three eggrolls cut in half and I was full after 2. They were very flavorful and not spicy at all. I would order these again in a heartbeat. I tried a friends guacamole which was really good and also not spicy. I would love to see chips and queso on their menu. They had chips and salsa and chips and guacamole but no chips and queso. Also, and the only thing that bothered me is they don't print your check. They hand you their handheld POS device and stand there while you tip them. I don't know if the suggested tip includes tax or not because they don't print your check. I tip on the cost of the meal before tax but this process they have doesn't allow me to do that.

A bunch of us from my spin class decided to get together on a Sunday for brunch and here's what I munched: Grande Chicken TInga Nachos ($18 - Shredded chicken tinga, queso, roasted tomato salsa, black beans, pico de gallo, roasted jalapeño, cilantro lime crema): Okay, maybe I don't recommend the nachos. While topped with a good amount of cheese on top, once congealed, any chip on the bottom that you pull out is just going to be a naked chip. They do top these chips off with a generous amount of toppings. Brunch Burger ($19 - Angus beef patty, sunny side egg, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, sriracha aioli, hash brown patty, brioche bun, choice of fresh fruit or breakfast potatoes): I shared this burger and requested the kitchen to cut it for me which they did. Very thankful that they were okay with the request. The burger itself was decent. It was a little weird to eat as the tiny hash brown patty made the structural integrity funny but it's not a deal breaker. I will say that it needed more sauce or something. From the moment we sat down, the vibe was right, relaxed ambience, comfortable setting, and the kind of place where you can actually unwind and enjoy your meal without being rushed. The environment just feels good. Our waitress was awesome, attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing without hovering. That kind of service makes all the difference and she nailed it. Now the food. Let me start with the real star of the show, the Cheesy Mashed Potato Balls. Golden, perfectly crispy panko crust on the outside, and when you bite in? Creamy mashed potato loaded with gooey melted cheese that literally stretches. Paired with that smooth cheese dipping sauce, these are dangerously addictive. I'd order a double next time without hesitation. The wings were incredible, and yes, I taste tested both the Garlic Parmesan AND the BBQ. The Garlic Parm had that rich, savory coating with a beautiful caramelized char. The BBQ brought a sweet, smoky glaze that had me licking my fingers. Both were meaty, juicy, and fall-off-the-bone tender. Honestly couldn't pick a favorite, you need both. I also grabbed a burger on a pretzel bun with bacon and sweet potato fries, stacked high, messy in the best way, and the pretzel bun held up like a champ. The Hub has that classic neighborhood grill vibe with quality that punches above its weight. Delicious food, generous portions, great service, and a relaxing spot to kick back. Came here to meet a friend tonight and we both thought the other person decided on this place, but…read moresince we already sat down and it was quiet and calm inside, we decided to stay. The food was pretty good here, however, I was severely annoyed with the waitress who wasn't really trying to service her customers but wanted to argue for most of the experience here so hence the two stars. Read on to see why I gave a lower rating than I normally would. Since this place is called Tap N Tikka, they had a nice selection of draft beers and I was impressed with their menu, which was on a digital board. The waitress tried to sell me on an Indian brewed beer (for example, Taj) and I just wasnt in the mood for one. Ive been to India several times and have had some of their beers in country. I asked for the Roses by the Stairs Czech Pale Ale and she didnt know if they had it. So I then said, if you dont have Roses by the Stairs, I'll take a Schoner Tag, which is a wheat style Hefeweizen. She then brought me the Schoner Tag, which was a very good beer. Next, we told her we weren't too hungry and mainly wanted to snack on some items and this is where she was being quite annoying. I mentioned the chaat on their menu and thought maybe these would be small bites as these are considered roadside snacks in India, but then she had to tell me oh no they are big portions, so I am like ok... I then saw kati rolls on the menu and thought we could get these and she says oh they are like big burritos, so then I said, well we could cut them in half and share it, but she seemed to think oh they are too big. OK, so after discussing the appetizer menu and couldnt seem to land on much, we now move onto entrees. She then suggests we share a dish, which we were both fine with. She initially suggested Reshmi chicken and said it had a creamy sauce, so we agreed. So, when we finally order the Reshmi chicken, I also asked for a garlic naan to soak up the sauce with and then waitress says oh its not too saucy. So, at this point, I am like whatever lady, can we just order here as you're not being helpful?? Then, she says oh popular dishes here are chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and also bhuna chicken. She said bhuna chicken was her favorite and better than the other two and had a sauce to it, so we finally agreed on this. When the chicken arrived, it came with rice and also we ordered the garlic naan too. The chicken was very good and flavorful, but I doubt it was bhuna chicken as it was a lot more saucy than how bhuna chicken is normally cooked. Bhuna chicken is normally more dry, so I dont know what this waitress is talking about. Garlic naan was so-so and I have had much better elsewhere and for $4.95 a piece, not worth it. I didnt eat much as I was headed to another meal, but did have a bite of chicken for taste and had one piece of naan. We had leftovers and she brought two take away containers. I asked for another container and she wanted to argue about this too. At this point, I just wanted to get out of here. I was like, lady, can you stop arguing with me? The food here was good, but the service was severely ruined by a waitress that didnt know what she was talking about and kept arguing. I thoroughly did not enjoy this experience. And on my receipt, the order was rung up as Butter Chicken and not Bhuna Chicken. With so much competition now (and so hard to earn a dollar and with skyrocketing inflation) and with plenty of other good Indian restaurants around, needles to say, Tap N Tikka, you lost my business and I wont be coming back, thanks to your rude and not knowledgeable waitress.
