The minute I walked in I knew I came to the right place. It really took me back to those nostalgic days with those familiar smells I grew up loving. Everything is made fresh, and to order at K&S Italian specialties. I wound up buying their pasta salad, fresh Italian bread, imported dry pasta and cookies. This place was busy and I saw many people ordering their different types of sandwiches which are large. I love that they have a sandwich with chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe and fresh mozzarella. They make all different kinds of pasta dishes and they do catering too. As I walked around I noticed they have wonderful imported soppressatas, ( dry cured salami's) fresh pastas,and dry pastas, imported olive oils, balsamic's , Italian cookies, delicious Italian breads. Imported meats and cheeses. They sell beautiful imported dishes and platters from Italy. The staff is very friendly and a lot of locals come here. I highly recommend this store

When you walk in, they have various goods (e.g., olive oil, pasta) on the right wall and the meat and cheese cases on the left. There were several workers behind the counter so I did not have to wait long to place my order. I ordered the sub with lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar. It's normally a 20 minute drive home but because of the rain, it took nearly 30. When we got home, the sub was not soaked to the point where the bread was falling apart, which shows they add just enough and the bread is sturdy. It was just as good as I remember it. I wish I could find someplace similar closer to home but don't mind the drive back to K&S.

I don't make a habit of ordering tuna from places, because I am usually disappointed and I then have to question the freshness of the fish. This deli is a win, and I would absolutely recommend them.

There was a lunchtime line when I arrived. I got through it in 5 short minutes.

Professionally packaged so the sandwich doesn't compromise the wrapping. Important when transferring your treasure.

5 stars no doubt. I tried this place just passing through the area, and I was highly impressed. I started with a regular ittalian sub and it was perfect. Boars head meat, fresh crunchy lettuce (very important) , and friendly people behind the counter. I got the same thing the next time along with a pulled chicken sandwich for a friend of mine. Mine was great again and my friend said the chicken was so good it tasted like it was pulled off a roticeree. Although I didn't see a sign outside saying they had boars head and thumans, inside they did. I might have found this place sooner if I saw something outside advertising this. I live in Queens New York.. I drive 1 hour and thirty minutes just to come eat at Jp's . You will never find this food in New York.... I have actually just bought 5 roast beef and cheddar with fried onions just to bring back to New York... Long live Jp's the best damn food you will ever eat.. All family orientated... New owner's where Bread Basket has been for a long time. Very friendly and enthusiastic when it comes to customer service. I had the breaded chicken cutlet sandwich with the chipotle mayo.
