Unfortunately what could have been a good relationship did not turn out that way due to misrepresentation of time and how JQ could have called me to let me know he was running late. He told me he had an appointment in Deerfield Beach and said I could meet him there in Deerfield at 4:00pm. I went to the meeting place for pads and rotors for front brakes, I was there about 3:45. I called him and told him I was there. He called me back and said it would be 5 to 5:30, I was meeting him in an empty shopping center which I believed was close to his last job in Deerfield. He then said he was not in Deerfield, I asked him to reschedule for tommorow, he then said he was returning the parts and to forget about the whole thing. My Air Conditioning in my 2015 GMC Sierra Pickup started blowing hot air a few weeks ago so I had JQ mobile Auto Repair come out to take a look at it and give me an estimate of the cost to repair it. Jay, the owner, said that the Compressor was turning on but the clutch wasn't engaging and that I needed a new Compressor and charged me $125.00 for the estimate. I bought a new Compressor and Refrigerate and he came back out to my house a few days later to do the repair. After installing the new Compressor, he told me that the new Compressor won't turn on and that the low side pressure was good but the high side pressure was REALLY low and that he couldn't fix it. He charged me $350.00 even though he couldn't complete the repair. He said that the system had a blockage in it that was probably caused by the old Compressor and recommended another Company to diagnose the problem. I called the company that Jay recommended and they wanted another $120.00 to diagnose the problem. After paying Jay for the estimate ($125), the cost of the new Compressor and Refrigerant ($400), and the ($350) that he charged me to installation of the new Compressor, I am in over $875 and no working AC. I continue to get blown away the outstanding service from JQ. Pricing is fair and significantly lower than the dealers. Work is guaranteed by both him and the manufactures warranty on the parts he installs. I was drawn to him by excellent ratings posted on the neighborhood website. I am very familiar auto having built a kit car many years ago. Both age and my spouse has curtailed working on our vehicles. My discussions with Jay confirmed his extensive, mechanical ability. Coupled with his ethics and pride, I no longer trust repairs and maintenance to any other provider. It is said you can't please everyone. Negative commentary by many customers reporting the same pattern of disappointment echos "buyer beware". But, an ocassional report that runs counter to the majority should be ignored. I questioned Jay about the customer reporting problems with a brake job. All I can convey is that are always two sides to a story. After hearing his, I was surprised that he just opted to ignore it. So based on a recommendation from someone on Next Door App... I hired JQ AUTO to fix my stereo system in my car. The buttons on my steering wheel were not working. JQ Auto... He charged me $125 to analyze the problem and told me what I needed to order. I ordered the part and it came in... It didn't work because it was not the problem. So I had to return the item and he suggested I order a new stereo system so I did... It was completely different than what I originally had. He installed it and again... the buttons on the steering wheel did not work. And he cracked the whole frame of where the stereo was installed. He charged me a lot of money for the job. The new system is horrible and it doesn't work with the buttons on my steering wheel so he never fixed the original problem. I was able to order the exact radio unit I originally had and now he wants to charge me again to replace the system. He's a liar and a thief and has no idea what he is doing. Do not trust this man. He seems nice on the outside but he has no idea what he is doing and he charges you for his mistakes. Bad business. read more

I had JQ Mobile Auto Repair install brake pads on my vehicle. After a few months we drove the vehicle out of state and noticed one of the brakes were making a grinding noise when the brake pedal was released. One of the brakes rotors had deep grooves worn into it. We had to fix the brakes at an out of state auto repair shop which cost as much as JQ Mobile Auto Repair charged me. The out of state auto repair shop inspected the brakes and said that one of the brake pad hardware was not installed properly causing the rotor to be damaged beyond repair. JQ Mobile Auto Repair said that they would have repaired the brakes at no charge had I not been out of state and I believe they would. I did not expect JQ Mobile Auto Repair to reimburse me for the total bill but only for the new rotor and labor to install the rotor as this damage was caused by their workmanship. JQ Mobile Auto Repair denied any wrong doing and would not stand behind the work they performed. I would not recommend JQ Mobile Auto Repair to work on your vehicle. read more

He was quick to respond, came out to my location on time, and was incredibly professional. The service was top-notch, and he took the time to explain everything that needed to be done in a way I could understand. I was impressed with his knowledge and efficiency, and he had my car back on the road in no time.
