He showed me rough estimates so I'd have them when I'm ready and left the decisions to me. That kind of straightforward, no-upsell approach is rarer than it should be. They did a search to possibly find the cause but could find nothing. Their charge was beyond reasonable and I will continue to use them for any issues with my car. They decided that all four tires needed to be replaced, plus a couple other things, and quoted over a thousand dollars (!!!). I said how about you patch the flat tire and I'll come pick it up- which they refused (!!!- they professed deep concern about our "safety" lol). Since it was now mid-afternoon the day before Independence Day, I scrambled to find some other place to tow it; Mavis gets much better reviews and stays open until 8:30 pm, so they fit the bill. It cost me $140 to tow it on my own dime (AAA will only tow once per "incident" ugh), but then they patched the tire no problem for $32. The tires are fine: no "dry rot" as claimed at AAA. I just wish we'd had the good sense to take it to Mavis in the first place!!!

On each occasion, I waited approximately 30 minutes before I could speak with someone about the service I needed. Although someone checked me in after about 10 minutes, I still waited another 30 minutes before my appointment actually began. This is unacceptable, particularly when customers have scheduled appointments. During my most recent visit, I brought in my 2024 Chevy Silverado, which has only 25,000 miles, because there was a nail in the middle of the tire tread. I was told that the tire could not be repaired because the tires were "bald." This was simply not accurate. The tires were not bald and were in reasonable condition. I was also given the impression that the primary reason they were unwilling to repair the tire was that I had not purchased the tires from Discount Tire. These are the original OEM tires that came with the vehicle when I purchased it, so I found that explanation particularly disappointing given my long history of purchasing tires and receiving service from Discount Tire. I would leave a no-star review if possible!
