The dessert was about the same and there was enough choices that you were going to get something that you liked. The service was really what took this place down a notch. Which is strange because it's a buffet so it should be really hard to have bad service. The drinks that we ordered were a pain to get refilled and the plates were not getting taken from the table almost at all. We would have a bunch of empty glasses of water at the table and one of us would ask the server to fill it. She would come and fill that persons glass and walk away. So we realized that we had to tell the server to fill all the empty glasses. Problem was we had to keep doing this they wouldn't just do it. We had to ask each time. It's water it's free and I get that but to have to keep asking for a refill so weird. I wouldn't mind going to play a round at this place sometime and then try the regular sit down menu. Just don't know if this place was really that much of a stand out that I would go back. Would probably say worth a stop if your playing a round and in this area specifically.

Today we were asked to leave because my disabled husband has a service dog that alerts him when he has an episode. This is a legitimate trained service dog. For eight years, she has accompanied him everywhere: doctors, dentist, outpatient surgery, hospital and nursing home visits, banks, restaurants, commercial passenger flights. Her behavior today was exemplary. She has a defined space she remains in, and the only time she makes a noise is if she needs some water or to go outside, or if her person is having an episode. The bartender was polite about stating that the new owner is firm on animals being a health risk. I'm fairly certain the manager on duty actually made the decision. The owner has been in the industry for decades, and should be versed in the Americans with Disabilities Act, which they just violated. It's only federal law, after all. If a guest purports to have a service dog, and the dog behaves inappropriately, the establishment has every right to refuse service. But blanket refusal is a serious violation and can result in fines. Plus, you are doing a disservice to your employees by training them incorrectly. Two more bars out of our rotation, because they own the Windward in Brick as well.

I thought it was odd that it didn't have much of an odor when we were driving home but I just chalked it up to be well packaged for travel. As soon as I opened the box and saw the chicken, I knew this would not be a pleasant experience. The chicken was dry. Overcooked and extremely dry. Like it was cooked in advance. It wasn't as dry when I mixed it in with the onions and peppers but it was still dry. It also had very little flavor. Not what I would expect for fajita's to taste like. I was expecting an exceptional fajita. Unfortunately, I received fajita's that were sub-par at best. I've had better fajita's from little hole in the wall take out joints. I also ordered the Mexico city style corn. It was ice cold. As if it was an afterthought and put into the bag hoping our food boxes would heat it up. Needless to say, we won't be returning to Beach Taco's. I had high expectations, especially given the price. The hubs enjoyed his burrito so I guess all is not lost. I had the Tuna Poke Tacos with mango salsa and a spicy aioli sauce. I could have stopped at one but couldn't contain myself for the second! I am hoping to try and recreate the dish myself! My husband had a chicken wrap with jersey tomato's, lettuce & mayo and it was packed with chicken. The fries were hot and seasoned perfectly. I can't wait to return again.
