Very good food. I am a big fan of the spicy chicken with extra fire sauce and Barqs Red Creme Soda.

Burgers were great. You get two, so the price is a bargain. Comes with a side and soda. Only, don't get the cheese fries. Or, if you do, make sure the cheese is on the side. Great food, great prices, great location. Jr's has really good mini burgers and appetizers that are perfect for delivery to your house after a long night (open til 4am) or to the beach. Used to love JRs. Unfortunately, their prices increase 50 cents (on everything) every 3 or 4 months. When I started eating here, the original burgers were less than 6 dollars an order. Now they're $7.25. While good, the food just isn't worth the cost anymore. I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way. They'd probably increase order volume if they lowered prices and still profit the same, if not more. read more

i cant really find anything wrong with the place the few times i went..i never had a line nor a bad experience..we traveled down the shore like twice to go eat here..the menu definitely gives off "a college kid kind of spot" i believe they are open until like 4 am? the menu consists of sliders and wraps..food is really good! people are cool..they actually serve kool-aid as a drink on the menu, thats just plain awesome in itself lol and they have outdoor seating and a street fighter 2 arcade machine! what else could you possibly want?? parking can be a little tough if its busy and this little strip its on is busy but still not too bad to find a nearby spot.. 5 stars. period. read more

First off, I'd give them ZERO stars if i could. Lived in Long Branch....plenty of great restaurants, fast food places and burger joints....this isn't one of the great ones.....caters to kids...you know, teenagers with rings in their noses, eyelids and tongues....not gourmet eaters...serve them dogfood and they're happy.....i ate at jr's in red bank....got salad with chicken to go...came with 1 small cup of dressing......not enough but we learn from our mistakes....soooo, this time i ate at jr's in long branch.....ordered same salad.....without chicken comes with 1 cup of dressing.....i'm paying more to have chicken on it....the chicken requires it's own dressing.....not to these airheads behind the counter.....you get 1 dressing mister....you want another? pay me!!!!!! you don't like? don't come back.....and i won't....hopefully, you won't either....go across the street to surf taco....very polite....go to windmill near the corner....very polite...you want extra pickles at windmill? no problem...no charge...you want chinese? ming ying around the corner....you want to make your own sundae? fro yo beach across from ming ying....you want Italian? tuzzio's, nunzio's or tony's near the train station.....so you see, i like long branch food......just didn't like jr's! read more

I don't see what all the fuss is about. The prices are really expensive, there are plenty of places in the are with better cheaper food in my opinion. The time we were in there the owner/manager was working the grill (or that's at least how he was acting), he seemed like an unfriendly, arrogant a**. Well, they said they were open late at night so I called for a little midnight munch at around 11:30pm. Time progressed on by and now we are sitting home, starving at 1am. I proceeded to call and ask where my order had been and they said that they had called us multiple times said our order was not able to be delivered. They have delivered before later then this time which is why I am confused. I live close to the place and this flusters me because I don't get why they couldn't deliver my food. read more

We use to eat here at least once a week. We ordered the apple walnut salad (have had it several times before and never had a problem) yesterday and when I opened the lid, there was MAYBE half an apple worth of slices......THEY WERE ROTTEN! No joke, the core part of the slices were actually DARK brown and mushy. I called and spoke with the "manager" and he actually seemed amused by me letting him know someone wasnt paying attention to what they were doing. No actual apology, no thank you for letting him know there was decaying food in his kitchen....which was our intention in the first place. He actually gave me the excuse they were busy......ah, nooooooo, hardly anyone there! Wasn't happy with the food and wasn't happy with the responce I got from the "manager"! Guess what, Jrs.....you will be one less "busy" from now on! My husband is a hungry guy and we use to spend AT LEAST $35 a week there. OMG when this place first opened, they were amazing. Great burgers, sides, etc. I ordered last night and spent $35 on food that was barely edible. I placed this order online for delivery through JR's website and while the delivery time was estimated at 55 minutes, it took over 1-1/2 hours to get the food and it was lukewarm upon arrival to say the least and then charged $1.50 for delivery! The burgers were dry and tasteless, which is what this place originally was known for! UGH! I ordered the Maui ($8.95) and the bacon on it was chewy and the mozzarella already congealed. My son ordered the original on a pretzel bun for an extra $.50 ($7.75) and the pretzel bun was stale and the burger dry and tasteless. Next comes the onion petals.......where were the onions? We got a box of overcooked coating with no sign of any onions..... at a cost of $6.50!!!! Are you kidding me???????? The fried oreos....OMG an undercooked donut batter with a smidgen of an oreo inside. Four of those for $5.50. The best part of this meal was the fries. Don't waste your money........ I could have gotten a better meal at McDonald's for half the price!!!!!!! read more

I was a little bit skeptical of this place, but it was 12:00am and I was hungry. With time not being on my side, I hastily looked up the menu and ordered the Grilled Chicken, Bacon, Swiss Wrap with no Mayo. My skepticism worsened when I was greeted over the phone by someone who was either very new or legally deaf. Just knowing my order was gonna messed up, I debated in my car whether or not to cut my losses and just go back home. I can happily say my fears quickly went away when the Irresistibly gorgeous mediterranean girl behind the desk greeted me. I think her name was Despina? Anyway, her amazing customer service made the experience very memorable, and no one has ever placed ketchup and napkins in my to-go bag so elegantly before. Flashing her disarmingly adorable smile at me as I left, my night quickly turned around and I felt very fortunate for the visit. Unfortunately the feeling didn't last because the second I bit into the wrap I found the mayo. But in the defense of the person who took my order over the phone, the 5th time I repeated my order, I may have forgotten the mayo part. Besides that, the food wasn't that bad.
