Forget a picture of J's sample platter, has two of egg rolls, chicken pot sticker, steak pot sticker, crab Rangoon and two fried shrimp. Was very good I had the Mongolian trio and the wife had the orange peel chicken. I had the jasmine ice tea and enjoyed the pleasant taste. Bathrooms were very clean and so was dinning area. Staff friendly and helpful. I agree the outside of the restaurant will fool you a bit but a very nice environment inside, a hidden gem. We would return.

General Tso's Chicken, a favourite of mine.

I went to this restaurant on a Monday afternoon with my family. We were one of just people in the restaurant. The server was nice and he provided us with everything we needed. I saw the lunch specials that were $7.49 and I could not pass up on it. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken with fried rice, broccoli, wonton soup and crab lagoon. Here are the ratings for each food: Wonton Soup: 8/10 - Good, best I've had in awhile General Tso's Chicken with fried rice - 9/10 -pretty good, the chicken was nice and tender Crab Lagoon- 7/10- it's just fried cream cheese Broccoli was cold and needed - 4/10 (6.5/10 with salt) Overall, it was a good meal. The meal was really good, and for $7.49, it is so worth going to! Not many people come in, but those that do are in for a treat!

Not a good Chinese restaurant. Food is like mall food court quality. I'd keep looking - likely to Dayton before you find good Asian food.

I was a bit worried as it looks more like a night club from the outside, but the food was fantastic! We ordered the popcorn chicken, the Shanghai noon burger, mama Chien's dumplings, drunken noodles, a cobra old fashion and a local beer (paper cloud?). The chicken had some unique seasoning and the drunken noodles were phenomenal; the noodles were giant and cooked perfectly and the dish has some unique touches like pea pods that you don't usually find. You order at the bar, but even with that the service was great! A server brought out an herb for us to try that is in many of their dishes. They checked in on us several times and even refilled water, which you get yourself at the back. The customer base was very diverse. I'm guessing the place may turn more club-like later at night, but for dinner it's a perfect family restaurant.

I loved watching the bartenders make the drinks. It's mesmerizing. We tried the Koji Popcorn Chicken, Ezzo Pizza Dumplings, Seasoned Fries, Mama Chien's Dumplings (pork & sweet potato filled). All the food was amazing. I ordered a Kopiko Espresso Martini that I will go back 10x over to have again and again. I would say the only thing I'm not a huge fan of is going up to the bar to order every time you need something. I think they could really thrive using a QR system and/or digital tabs to make that process simpler. Also so you don't have to keep leaving the table. Either way, definitely worth it to check out!

It was absolutely wonderful and I can't stop thinking about it since going yesterday. Reminded me of Mapu Beef stew but with noodles instead of rice. Don't skip on the fried dumplings either! Quick and attentive service. We started with crispy dumplings (6), crispy egg rolls (2), and a scallion pancake. Bing, their crepe, wasn't available our night. My dining companions loved the pancake - for me perhaps a bit too much drizzled sauce. It was helpfully quartered when brought to the table so sharing was easy. The dumplings were indeed crispy and probably my favorite with a standard dark dipping sauce. The egg rolls were standard and perhaps a bit undersized and over fried, but a good creamy dipping sauce was a pivot away from the sweet chili sauce that usually accompanies such apps. Ramen is clearly the focus of the menu and three of us had ramen with chicken and one with pork. They spoke favorably of the broth and the combos of mushrooms, boiled egg, greens. I had the rice vermicelli with chicken that they called a salad. I was expecting the classic Vietnamese staple but this one had some adaptations, perhaps to a fusion or one might say less ethnic nod. Small things but the ample portion served in a small bowl made it hard to mix the rice noodles, lettuce, carrot, cucumber and chicken that is a common approach to the dish after drowning all the ingredients in both sweet sauce (nuoc cham), siracha and/or hoisin sauce. It only came with the nuoc cham. They brought Siracha when I asked for it, but I'm a fan of having these condiments on the table standard. Again, had the sense that the business lunch crowd that is probably the primary audience isn't likely to be as focused on the more authentic ingredients. The chicken was also not grilled and sliced but had a pleasant preparation. Just know it won't be the charred flavor that is so common. Finally, not to obsess on this one dish, but cutting the lettuce leaves more would enable easier chop sticks combos of the ingredients in single bites. Overall it worked for us. I am definitely the most focused on (my companions would say obsessed) on connection to what these dishes should be. If adaptations work well for you, Tiger+Lily likely will as well.

The Jam Pong -- a Korean seafood soup -- had fresh calamari, clams, scallops, and mussels in a deeply flavorful broth with just the right amount of spice. The vegetables tasted fresh and vibrant, and the seafood portioning was balanced perfectly. The wontons were equally impressive, with what tasted like freshly made dough wrapped around pork filling and finished with a rich, flavorful sauce reduced just enough. Service was excellent. It's a family-run fast casual spot between MVH and UD -- you order at the counter and they bring the food out. The place was spotless, prices were very reasonable, and there was a steady stream of pickup orders all evening. No alcohol, just really outstanding food.
