Pretty good for the only Chinese place in town. The bang for your buck factor isn't really there, but hey, you get what you get. Has all the classic Chinese dishes.

We ordered Potstickers. We got these. Uh... no.

I can only assume those who have given this plce 5 stars have not had chinese food outside of visits to local buffets of which the quality is atrocious. That said this place is the best Chinese food in Enon, being that it's the ONLY chinese food in Enon (if you don't count the egg rolls in the frozen aisle of Howards). We first went a few years ago and were not impressed, but being it's been a while and we moved here now, decided to try again in hopes that they had perhaps chnaged cooks or owners. Nope. Granted we are a bit jaded when it comes to Chinese, we used to live north of Cincinnati and often went to Uncle Yips for dim sum carts on weekends, and have been to some high end placesin our travels. So I have a higher expectation for chinese food than most who only know it from cheapo crap buffets. Aside from that, I've never had another place sell me wontons and tell me they were Potstickers. Panda Garden did. Seriously, I even have a pic in the photos I uploaded. The fact they try to pass of wontons as a proper potsticker should make you take up arms and protest. And "pan fried potstickers"? Deep fried. Seriously. We will continue to drive into Springfield the few miles to go to Hung Lung on Bechtle. Because dear god everythign there is delish and I'd stab a nun for their crab rangoon. Two stars because I have had worse. 3 stars removed because, wontons, seriously?

Orange chicken with white rice. Pretty crunchy and flavorful. Not that spicy

I arrived at noon and the parking lot was already pretty full for this very unassuming Chinese…read morerestaurant from the outside. There is plenty of free parking which is nice. When I walked in the atmosphere was great, I could smell good food and heard conversations. There's a large area with large round tables to right and to the left are booths and almost all of them were full. The menu was a mix of Americanized Chinese, traditional Chinese and included Dim Sum as well. There were a number of dishes we didn't know much about and there were dishes being enjoyed by other customers that looked delicious. The wait staff was more than happy to explain the dishes and/or show us on the menu what someone was eating. They took very good care of us and shared the tasks of bringing our food, filling water, and just checking in. Now the food. The food came out very quickly! We all received a well filled bowl of rice. First out was the string beans, perfectly cooked, not droopy, and the flavors of garlic and hot peppers. Even though the peppers were there the heat was not overpowering at all. Next was the shredded pork with garlic sauce. The textures of the pork and bamboo shoots were a nice contrast and the sauce was perfectly balanced and craveable. The special grilled lamb, I was told, was some of the best in the city. It was tender and well spiced. Even when he said he was full he just couldn't stop eating it. For the dim sum order we got the shrimp dumplings, soup dumplings, scallion pancake, and sesame balls and they brought a soy sauce and a chili oil with them. The shrimp dumplings were tender but the dough was pretty sticky. I think this is normal and they were tasty with some of the oil on them. The scallion pancakes were very thin and gummy, this is the only thing we ordered that I would not get again. The soup dumplings were very small but packed a lot of flavor. The dough did stick together a bit so unfortunately some of the soup did leak out. The sesame balls were the hit and we're just the right amount of sweetness that we considered them desert. They were large, at least 2" in size, with a wonderful sesame seed covered exterior and a soft, sweet center. Chuan Jiang Hao Zi is a wonderful somewhat hidden gem. If you want traditional Chinese cuisine including all the different offal they have it and I would totally try it here over anyone else if I was brave enough. Portions were a good size for the price. I highly recommend checking them out!

I had the Kung Pao Chicken & it was by far the best I'd ever eaten. So many layers of flavor & heat. (a bit spicy for me, but I struggled through & loved every bite) Will definitely be back to explore some of the more "exotic" dishes on the menu. (Wasn't feeling to adventurous this trip) The restaurant was well decorated & the staff took great care of us. (saw a large selection of dumplings at this place too.....definitely be back to try those)

The noodles are actually made in-house and have a lovely texture. I got the Classic Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and was definitely not disappointed. The broth is light, but full of flavor at the same time. It is truly very comforting on a cold winter night. I think the beef slices on there are a bit tough, but it's not too big of an issue. The portion sizes are actually crazy. I got the regular size and could finish maybe just half to 2/3 of the noodles, along with a majority of the beef. I can't imagine how massive the large bowl would be... For health, I also ordered some stir-fried bok choy. This was stir fried well, but I'm not really sure what the flavor profile was supposed to be. Is it garlic? Is it spicy? I couldn't really place it. The prices are very fair for the quality of food they provide, and service throughout the night was decent. I will probably be back again, if I visit Dayton! I have been a regular customer at Kungfu Noodle for a long time and, because of my work schedule, I…read moreeat here almost every day. Unfortunately, a recent experience has convinced me that I will not be returning. I placed an order and requested "no meat, more vegetables." I was told that the kitchen was unwilling to provide extra vegetables unless I paid an additional charge. What disappointed me most was not the charge itself, but the attitude behind it. It felt as though reasonable customer requests were viewed as an inconvenience rather than something to accommodate. This is also not the first time I have heard kitchen staff complaining about customer requests. In the past, I have overheard complaints about customers asking for less salt or making other simple modifications to their meals. As a long-time customer, it is extremely disappointing to hear staff openly express frustration toward paying customers for such basic requests. The attitude was unprofessional and unfriendly. After repeatedly hearing complaints from the kitchen about customer orders, it becomes difficult to feel confident about how special requests are handled behind the scenes. I have supported this restaurant for a long time, but this experience has left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. I hope management takes customer service more seriously and addresses these issues.

I asked if veggies come in the lo mein. He said it only came plain. I asked if I could pay for vegetables in my lo mein. I was put on hold for about 2 minutes & when he returned, he said I could get vegetables. There was an up charge... the meal w/ an eggroll was $18.45 & said it would be ready in 20 minutes. 5 mins later I get a call & they said they couldn't put vegetables in plain lo mein. WHAT?! He (a different guy) said that his colleague got it wrong & I would need to buy a veggie lo mein on the side. He said that he couldn't do the combo & add veggies to the lo mein. His colleague got it wrong because the boss wasn't there & when she got back she saw how he rang it up & to call me & tell me they couldn't do that. I would have to buy the sweet & sour pork & veggie lo mein separately @ $22+. Now, for $4 you gave up $18! I have never been called back by a restaurant due to a mistake they made for charging me wrong. MOST businesses, who want to gain & maintain customers would've sucked it up & corrected their employee! NOT call the customer for their $4 mistake!!! I will never order from this establishment. Their customer service is diabolical.
