When I called Jason, he seemed to know exactly what was wrong, came prepared with the right equipment, and worked very fast. I read reviews on new refrigerators, and it seems like no one is happy with their purchase. Like they say "they don't make them like they used to." Very happy with the results, especially the fact that I did not have to buy a new refrigerator!!!

My experience with Jason Reed and his business has been extremely disappointing and completely unacceptable. We scheduled a refrigerator repair, and although Jason initially came out, the refrigerator only worked for four days after the service. He gave a 90 warranty.Since then, it has been 60 days with no response from him. Here are the major issues:Unreliable communication -- Jason does not return calls from any of our cell phones or work numbers. Missed appointments -- He repeatedly failed to uphold scheduled appointments. Inconsistent excuses -- His employees told us he was in Houston. Jason told us his kids were sick. Then he said he had an event with his wife. After that, he stopped responding entirely. No follow‑through -- No replies to calls, no replies to texts, no updates, no resolution. At this point, the lack of professionalism and accountability is beyond frustrating. We need a refund! We will be reporting this to Ellis County, as no customer should be left without service, communication, or honesty for two months.I will not recommend Reed's Appliance Repairs based on this experience. I will be cross posting this review!

Estimate to repair Samsung refrigerator ice maker leaking water into ice dispenser was $418.00…read more The repairs identified was to apply silicone to the air gaps in the ice maker within the refrigerator walls. Declined the repairs based on the price that I believe is price gouging, especially for seniors. Responding to Mr. Appliance of Mansfield's comment. There were zero parts included in the $418 estimate for the silicone gel and the labor to apply the silicone gel between the ice maker and refrigerator walls. The tech clearly stated he could not guarantee his repairs would resolve the water leak problem. So why would I pay Mr. Appliance $418 for repairs that that may or may not work? That is why I decided to decline the estimate and just pay for the trip charge of $139 without having to worry about whether or not the tech correctly repaired the problem. After reviewing other Yelp comments about Mr. Appliance the ice maker problem could expand into something a lot more expensive. I'm hopeful that other consumers may find this comment useful.

Whirlpool won't replace it until they have done everything possible to fix it . I went back to the store and the manager wouldn't even come out and talk to me about it. The only repair man that they have has been here so many times I can't count. He's replaced every replaceable part in it. The main board was on back order so wow that wasn't fun. Every few weeks he has to come out and thaw it, so I have to unload and reload it for him to do that Every time. It runs constantly raising my electric bill, cant put a price on all the food lost. As of today the repair man had surgery and can't work, whirlpool is backed up and I'm about to loose more food. The lady on the phone says she'll have the repair man call when he comes back to work and that's all we can do. $2,000.00 and 7 months later it look like buying local isn't worth it after all.
