Our washer needed a new drain pump, and I also thought the drain hose was full of gunk enough to go ahead and change out as well (since the machine was getting opened up already). He didn't have a hose on hand, but made a second trip (without charging extra for the additional drive) and got it all taken care of for a reasonable price. A nice guy, quick enough, no problems, washer works good again. Recommended.

The harness needs to be replaced (online $69-109 online price) as well as the fuse($12) . The estimate came out to 499 before tax. I decided to purchase a new one in stead of repairing an outdated model. Found one for $579 at conns (on sale from $899)and applied a $100 coupon . Ended up cheaper to buy new. The diagnostic charge was $103 and no repairs were made. One technician asked for ( a cold bottle of water which was embarrassing for me as I had no drinks in the house.

Declined the repairs based on the price that I believe is price gouging, especially for seniors. Responding to Mr. Appliance of Mansfield's comment. There were zero parts included in the $418 estimate for the silicone gel and the labor to apply the silicone gel between the ice maker and refrigerator walls. The tech clearly stated he could not guarantee his repairs would resolve the water leak problem. So why would I pay Mr. Appliance $418 for repairs that that may or may not work? That is why I decided to decline the estimate and just pay for the trip charge of $139 without having to worry about whether or not the tech correctly repaired the problem. After reviewing other Yelp comments about Mr. Appliance the ice maker problem could expand into something a lot more expensive. I'm hopeful that other consumers may find this comment useful.
