Super authentic tacos! Loved this hole in the wall spot. The tacos and meat were flavorful and it really hit the spot. The tacos are cooked as they are ordered so they're super fresh and come out quickly. Definitely recommend!

I just had the BEST street tacos that I've had in a LONG TIME! I normally go to the Taco truck but today I tried Js Snackland and now I want to try the menu! Steak street tacos, corn tortillas, onions and cilantro with the spicy sauce on the side! Spicy sauce has the right amount of heat. 3 tacos not the platter just the tacos and I'm happy! She does all the favorites including gorditas and tortas! Cooked to order while you wait! You can't ask for better than that. She closes at 8:30 during the week and 5pm on Sundays.

    Right side of menu.

J's Snack Land Tacos is attached to the laundry mat/dry cleaners with pretty homely food. When we entered, a sweet Hispanic lady came out and took our order after a minute or two as we stared at the menu trying to decide. I had 3 gorditas (not so much like what you'd imagine at Taco Bell): pastor, pollo chicharron, and chorizo. These thick, enclosed corn tortillas were interesting. There was a decent amount of meat, but sort of like mini street tacos, you have to order more to get full. 3 of em was decent. The pastor was the best as it was more filling with the meat type. The pollo chiicharron was interesting with what seemed like fatty parts (of like pigs). The chorizo was okay: not too oily nor dry. The hubs had the al pastor (?) burrito. It was a hearty sized burrito with rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, and pico de gallo. The flavors weren't overwhelming. The burrito was actually a bit saucy without even adding additional sauces. I'd say the overall rating for me is 3 1/2 stars, but this gets rounded up to a 4.

Taco meal. Sorry kind of blurry

I heard about this restaurant so decided to try them out. As I walked in I noticed that one side is the restaurant, the other a dry cleaner and in the back a laundromat. There was one lady working all 3; so I had to wait for her to finish at the dry cleaners to come over to the restaurant to take my order and cook the food. They currently have increased their prices due to COVID. I paid $10 for a taco meal and drink. The tacos are street tacos, so pretty small. But everything was delicious and authentic.

    Huevos con chorizo breakfast burrito

NW ATL's best kept secret. The epitome of a hole in the wall, J's Snack Land serves up some of the best, authentic Mexican food in the area from the front corner of a laundromat. Lori, who runs the show, is an absolute sweetheart I always go for the huevos con chorizo burrito, as it is literally the best breakfast burrito I've ever had.

Really love their food, but they're getting really skimpy with the meat.. my torta was so flat it was sad.

I asked could they cut the chicken small for my elderly mother. These fools flat out said no. That was beyond unfathomable! As I watched a guy cutting vegetables. They have no logical on why they couldn't cut the chicken that was already cut up smaller. The cashier was a little girl with braces kept awkwardly giggling like a little school girl. I asked a guy for the manager. He had on some thick black frames. He tells me the manager isn't there. So, I ask who is in charge. He said, "I guess me". So I tell him what happened and he looked like another little kid with an awkward face like he didn't know what to do. Then he says, "well I just work here". Everyone just acted like they didn't understand or speak English. This was insane! I don't do bad service at all. Leave this place alone, just like I am. I have a low tolerance for stupidity. I just left while they played a who's on first. Completely unprofessional and immature. Will never spend a dime there again.

There's booths and tables and I like that the tables aren't too close to each other. There's cute decor, just a nice vibe overall. It wasn't too busy for a Friday evening which was nice since we had our kids with us. The waiter was pleasant and checked on us occasionally, without being over bearing. We started with a trio of dips with chips- guacamole, queso, and salsa instead of the bean dip. All of them were good with the queso being so-so for me. The salsa is nice and smoky. One kid had a kids meal with two shredded beef tacos and fries. I'm glad they served the onions and cilantro on the side for him. Hubby has the queso birria plate and raved about how good it was. I enjoyed by pollo asado plate. I only wish they had a salsa bar with the pickled veggies, etc. The menu is extensive so I can't wait to try something else. Prices are a little higher than other Mexican places, but they make a lot of homemade items and you can tell the difference.

The location is easily missed even when you're looking for it. Plenty of seating. The bathroom was clean. The staff were nice and attentive. The chicken and steak fajita was okay, kind of bland. The chicken quesadilla had much more flavor. The salsa that did come on the side plate was amazing, fiery and Smokey. The prices seemed very reasonable, but sadly it just didn't hit for the flavor for me.
