Unavailable Flavors
Crystal A.

Per usual nothing available here's a list of May 2024 Unavailable Flavors apparently. The young girl who helped my 9year old was rude a young boy walked out from the back room with zero energy to blend my daughter's order. Ambiance was strange sticky floors filthy sitting area. Won't be returning to this boba shop.

Every time I go there's something. From ordering my drink and paying for then being told they didn't have what I ordered so I asked for a refund instead since I don't really care for anything else and was told they don't do refunds even though I wasn't told they were out of what I requested until after they took my payment, another after ordering they then told me they could not except debit cards because the machine was down so I had to pay with cash because the girl already started making my drink, lol. I told them keep it I don't carry cash. Then today I go in and order my drink and they hand it to me in this big fat cup that looks like the containers used at restaurants when you order soup and doesn't fit in the car cup holder. I really wish someone would open another Boba place out here in Buckeye.

I initially thought that they were closed. It looked dim from the outside in, but opened the door right up to a friendly welcoming. There were two girls working, who I told this was our first time in. She immediately asked what types of drinks we usually like and made some recommendations. They made everything right up for us and served to us in these super cute custom pop top canisters. We all ordered a milk tea and boba variety. The drinks were great, the service was amazing. Will definitely be stopping back in to try more!

The confusing menu options at the top.

The owner is overly concerned about masks, but not having a menu that isn't confusing and falsely advertises. All about the Benjamins here. So it looks like the "extra" flavors are for the snow & slush only but apparently these option on their menu is for all tea options and not just snow/slush. I definitely wouldn't order until you talk to the cashier to explain the menu. I can say with that kind of false advertising, I will not be back.

I can't believe I haven't written this review yet. I've been to this location so many times. As soon as it opened we have been coming here. They have a huge selection of tea flavors. Not just your usual. My daughter loves green tea and she's able to pick the flavor to add to her tea on top of so many flavors of the boba. They also have the gelly ones. Again, the amount of different flavors and combinations you can come up with is endless. I personally love the taro slushy. That's right you can pick from tea, slushy with no milk, smoothies and everything with the bobas. My favorite is the strawberry blueberry and rose flavored boba. So yummy. Wait till you see their menu. You will love it.

For the price of this, not worth it, I was expecting so much more for the price and all I can say is go to your local donut shop and get yourself boba there. It wasn't all that great, just ok, just a regular bob nothing wowing.

Really bad service two girls one with blonde hair and black roots and the other with brown hair and glasses, it took 25m to make one drinks and made 3 drinks for the person who order after. They just kept laughing and changed my ordered. They popping pearls are hard and don't pop I'm guessing they weren't ready yet. Only good thing is that the place is clean. Would not recommend at all. stars if I could.

Thai Tea with White Boba

I expected decent Tea and boba at least. They ran out of brown sugar boba of course that isn't their fault. But their alternative options were terrible. At least the two we tried. Alternatives - White Boba -Chocolate bursting boba I ordered a regular Thai Tea with White boba and at 75% sweetness. That's what I usually get at Rewind which is an ice cream and boba tea house in Tempe. The Tea was extremely milky and barely no flavor of Thai tea and if you had any it didn't even taste like Thai Tea. My Bf ordered a regular Green apple Chai milk tea with Chocolate bursting boba, because he had ordered a green apple chai from a coffee place. It was nowhere near as good and basically undrinkable. The chocolate bursting boba was like raisins sitting in vomit inducing liquid. Price wise for the two small drinks was 15 DOLLARS. The drinks aren't even worth 1 cent. I wouldn't have drank as much as I had if it wasn't for the price of the drink. I would've just thrown it away or should've gotten a refund but I didn't take the receipt so I wouldn't have been able to anyway. The customer service wasn't bad at first. The one girl that was working there was pretty nice at first at explaining everything. But after that she was extremely rude. We were ready to order and she had her back turned and it took a min for her to even notice. Then after we paid she gave us the receipt to sign and she threw the pen at us. But it wasn't all bad there was a blonde hair boy who was working with her was really kind and helped me pick an alternative to the brown sugar boba. He was really nice and told us to have a good day but the rest of the two didn't say anything. Overpriced, need better customer service, terrible boba, don't know how to make tea, and need to go back to basics.

I decided to give this place another shot and I guess I can bump them up one star for friendliness and cleanliness? But still, for a boba place, at least have fresh boba. I just got my drink and all the boba at the bottom is stuck together and congealed into one large mass that doesn't break apart. If you've ever made boba, you'll know it only does this once it's old.

Took forever to receive order. Probably because the woman kept taking orders and not fixing the orders.

Sinful, with berry pieces in it. I kidded with Joe, the owner (see the photos) that his store looks like an escapee from Scottsdale, without Scottsdale prices. He laughed. There are so many other fun things you can buy there. Joe's so incredibly friendly, and he gave me a sample to try. There's more seating, lots of it, than the pictures imply. It's all beautifully decorated, so you'll enjoy the experience for more than just the gelato. Wherever you dine in the Buckeye area, leave room and stop over at The Gelato Tavern for a fun and incredibly tasty experience! And go next door to Barbon Asadero for a wonderful Mexican lunch or dinner. We dined there first, and had gelato for dessert. As I said, leave room for a gelato dessert wherever you dine!

Such a charming, beautiful shop, the owner was so nice and welcoming and gave us samples to try! I love that they have a mini size, it was perfect for me! The one scoop size was very generous! I had the pistachio and it was heavenly, I love that there was no food coloring or anything artificial and with real chunks of pistachio! It really tasted homemade and not too sweet! The blood orange and the mango were so refreshing! The shop has a super comfy couch area perfect for the kids who enjoyed playing jenga while having their gelato! If it wasn't so late I would have been all over the coffee, it smelled soooo good!

Talking with her feels like chatting with a neighbor from the era when people actually knew their neighbors, borrowed sugar, and cared about their community. The kind of conversation where you came for coffee and accidentally stayed because you were enjoying yourself too much. We ordered the Tiramisu Biscoff Latte, the S'mores Latte, and an iced caramel latte, and every single one was incredible. Not the "cute coffee shop" kind of good where you pretend to like it because the aesthetic is nice -- I mean "actually" fantastic coffee. Rich flavor, perfectly balanced, beautifully crafted, and dangerously drinkable. Then, while we were waiting, she casually asked if I liked apples... and before I knew it, she was making me a fresh crepe on the house just so I could try it. Honestly, if someone offered me free crepes and kindness in this economy, I might tear up a little. Everything is made fresh right in front of you, and you can taste the care put into every detail. Nothing tasted rushed, overly sweet, or artificial, just genuinely well-made food and coffee by people who clearly love what they do. I've passed this place a few times driving through downtown Buckeye and kept saying, "We should stop there sometime," especially after hearing other Verrado locals rave about it. I'm officially late to the party. And somehow, these owners performed the impossible: they made a spot next to a gas station parking lot feel like the coziest hidden café getaway imaginable. The music, seating, decor, and atmosphere are unbelievably cute and welcoming. Five minutes after sitting down, you completely forget where you are. This place feels less like a business and more like the coffee shop a Hallmark movie character opens after moving to a small town to rediscover happiness. Absolutely worth the drive. Great coffee, incredible crepes, wonderful people, and the kind of place that reminds you how nice genuine human interaction can be. Suggestion: Post your prices on the menu or a board!
