Here's a more polished and balanced version of your review: I decided to stop in for a bite to eat and ordered the combination pho and an order of egg rolls. My total came to $29, which I don't mind paying if the food and service are worth it. When I walked in, I honestly thought the restaurant was closed. None of the menu boards or TVs were on, and the menu wasn't clearly visible. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to order at the counter or seat myself. I chose to dine in, but I had to ask for everything, including water and dipping sauce for the egg rolls. I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time, so I expected a more attentive experience. When my pho arrived, I was disappointed. The vegetables looked brown, the portion was served in a small bowl, there was no tendon, and very little meat. The noodles were undercooked, and the broth had a sour taste that made it difficult to enjoy. I came for lunch. I wanted to try everything, but my stomach couldn't handle it, so I ordered the chicken banh mi, and thai iced tea. The place is quite big. There were about 3 people eating including me. It was quite, even with music in the background. It was nice. Cell signal, is abysmal. I don't know why that geographic area in general is like that. Not the restaurants problem, Just an FYI. My sandwich was quite large. Alot of bang for my buck, I felt. My drink was good. They have hoisin sauce and a couple others, to add to your dish, table side. I added some hoisin sauce to my sandwich, it was dry, not really any juicy bits or sauce seemed to come on it. I met a friend here for lunch...we both like Vietnamese food, so I was looking forward to it. It's in a strip mall, but there was plenty of parking available. The inside was bigger than it looked from the outside. It was actually very comfortable, didn't feel too crowded. We started with Grilled Pork Spring Rolls which came with a peanut dipping sauce. They were very nice and refreshing. A little too much lettuce (mine was falling out), but the noodles, pork and wrapper were fine. We both went with Pho's...I got the Brisket Pho and my friend got the House Pho. The broth was delightful! Lots of noodles and green onions, my brisket was sliced thinly and easy to eat. The bowl was huge!! It came with some garnishes: bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapenos. Honestly, I was happy with the bowl as is, but I did add a little bit of hoisin sauce, which added to the almost sweetness of the broth. For "dessert", we both got smoothies. Mine was the Berries Smoothie, which had blueberries, strawberries and raspberries. I added popping strawberry bobas, which I'd never tried before. This was delicious!!!! Listen, I know you'll think I'm crazy and that this seems like an unlikely location for an award like this but the BBH here (ask for extra sate) might be the best I've had in AZ. Now, I have not eaten BBH at every BBH-offering vendor in the state. I have eaten at a lot of them. Dare I say, perhaps even most of them. When you live up in NAZ like I do, monthly trips down to the city include a grocery run at Lee Lee's and a stop for BBH, nary the same place, always the same goal. To find the best BBH. You'd think this find would be in Mesa or Chandler. It's not. I wasn't expecting to find it in Goodyear. I moved from OC so I'm particular. But I also know some of the best Vietnamese restaurants are off the beaten path in OC -- not necessarily in the thick of Bolsa. Maybe my palette has dulled. They really need to advertise their food a little more- I'm sure I've seen it here and there, but it sounds like just another boba-and-shake hangout spot for tweens to come take Instagram pictures at, or whatever the kids are doing these days IDK I'm old. Their food is GREAT! Their aforementioned boba and shakes are great! AND... THEY ACTUALLY SERVE PHO DAC BIET WITH TENDON AND TRIPE! This is a literal marvel, as it's extremely hard to find pho with tripe in the west valley for some reason. But this place does it, and they do it really well. We were pleasantly surprised at this wasn't just a Boba shop it was legit a full running restaurant. Everything was so clean inside. Pros: The boba was amazing, shrimp spring rolls had big prawns and perfect peanut sauce, pho has really good broth. Fresh pho veggies! Cons: The portion of the noodles was not as much as other pho spots example pho king. The fried rice was not traditional fried rice, pretty disappointed it looked like Spanish rice.. tasted tangy. Shrimps were made separately and then added on top. Inside of the pork egg rolls were a bit mushy but did not lack in flavor. 3 small boba Shrimp spring rolls Meatball Pho and shrimp fried rice ran about $75 Average for pho and boba spots in this area. I have gotten the honey tea, mangonada, bbq buns, and ribeye pho here. Non of the items on their menu seem overpriced. The mangonada is is not recommended if you don't like a high amount of sweetness. Any other teas are good and are not too sweet. The pho here is amazing especially for its price. The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming, definitely a place for teens to hang out and get some food and boba. It's not really a place you would see people over 45 hanging out, more of a modern youthful feel to it read more
