The only place to get your iPhone fixed. I went to them over last few years when they were on Convoy and was worried this new location might not be them. Lucky for me it was. Same manager and even the same store layout. In years past I lived in UTC so they weren't far. Now we live up in Carlsbad. I still made the trip given past positive experiences. Previously they had fixed my wife's and my iPhone 4s and 6s. Replacing worn out batteries and my broken screens. Tonight I took my IPhone 8 in because the haptic motor under the home button had shaken loose from a short drop onto a wooden floor. It was buzzing embarrassingly loud. Rezza (spelling?) had it fixed in no time. By the time I was back from eating some Pho next door, bingo! Like new iPhone. The price was the terrific. Service the best. The worst, most unprofessional shop I've been ever been to. Do not go there. They were supposed to repair my damaged phone...when we picked it up, the phone looked good but after we got home the replacement glass starting lifting up, it heats up, and it won't make or receive phone calls. When I called the shop I got a million excuses. The guy said they installed the wrong sim card and that's why it would not make calls. He also said he would not be able to find ours...he had so many lying around the shop. What? BTW I took the phone to Sprint. It has nothing to do with the sim card. These guys have no clue about what they are doing. There is more to the story but I won't bore you with the details. Just know this place is terrible. read more

I found them on groupon so I thought I would give them a try. Never again. I didn't notice until I got home that the screen I got replaced was slightly off. The home screen button slot wasn't aligned with the home button, same with the speaker. If I wanted it to be done horribly I would have done it myself, save myself the trip I took back to have them tell me that they could try to fix it but it wouldn't be as "good" or that there's no problem with it now. read more

Honestly, this place always exceeds my expectations. I've been a customer with JTI since they were at the old location. I've literally brought my entire family here for our phone repair needs. Sometimes when I can't figure out functions on my device Justin and the staff are patient enough to answer the simplest of questions. I feel at home with them. Before I knew of JTI I had so much issues with the other 2 repair shops I used. The tech at Jti proved to me the previous repairs I had on my iPhone 6 were done poorly. I purchased this awesome Groupon deal to have my (black) iPhone 7+ screen replaced. The same day I purchased my Groupon, I decided to take my phone in for repair. Using the address provided on the Groupon (4620 Convoy St, Ste H, San Diego, CA), I find out that this location has closed! I called the company phone number and a woman provided their new address: (8008 Clairemont Mesa Blvd, San Diego, CA). Upon arrival, I informed the woman I spoke with on the phone that I would be redeeming my Groupon voucher to have my screen replaced. She took down my information on a sticker and stuck it to the back of the phone. She apologized for not being able to provide me with a receipt due to some technical issue with their machine and asked that I come back in one hour. I gave her two hours instead, just to be on the safe side. When I returned, she had no recollection of me even being there. She asked if I needed help. I reminded her that I was here to pick up my phone. She then asked "Do you have your receipt?" I reminded her that her machine was down and that she couldn't provide one when I first came in. She went to the back office to search for my phone and returned to ask if my phone was a (rose gold) iPhone 6. I reminded her again that I brought in a (black) iPhone 7+. She went to the back office again and returned with a gentleman, who I informed, YET AGAIN, that my phone was a (black) iPhone 7+. The guy returned to the back office. I asked the woman how much longer the repair would take. She proceeded to make up a random ETA and told me to come back in 40 minutes (she didn't even consult with the technician about the ETA!). By this time, I was livid due to the lack of customer service, lack of competence, and overall unprofessional experience at this shop. I asked to speak to someone else but she assured me that the phone was being worked on. I then began to worry if they even had my phone at all, so I asked for proof. The woman complied by bringing the cracked screen out to prove that they were in fact working on my phone. She apologized for the "inconvenience" and chalked the whole thing up to her being "new" there. She said that she would call me when the phone was done. I then asked her how would that be possible if they are fixing my phone? Her response: "Oh..." Unfortunately, the issues experienced at this shop were not due to her being "new". My requests were not complicated or difficult. I do have sympathy if she is new, but my questions and frustration could have been easily resolved if she used her resources and consulted with her management and/or technicians. I came back after 40 minutes to find out my phone was still not ready. I then spoke to another associate at the shop and explained my frustration and overall experience. She listened to my concerns and apologized for not providing an accurate ETA. She also consulted with the technician to provide me with information on why the repair was taking long. This associate tried to remedy the issue by offering me some screen protectors, but I respectfully declined and informed her that my only priority was to have my phone back and the screen correctly installed. Overall, what originally started as a one hour repair turned into a four hour headache. Some suggested solutions: First, I would recommend that the management team train their associates to ask for help if they cannot or do not have the knowledge to answer the client's questions. Second, before providing ETAs, please confirm with the technicians on how long the repair will take and DO NOT make up random ETAs. Third, try your best to remember your clientele. Having to ask the client the same questions multiple times about the item that they are having repaired by your shop is disconcerting. The client is trusting you with an $800 phone and struggling to answer simple questions may discourage the client from using your services. read more

This place will most likely be the most reasonably priced place around. I sent my two younger siblings here and they were in and out within an hour. One iphone 6 they did not have the white screen replacement so "temporarily" put on a black screen replacement and said to come back tomorrow when they will have the white screen to replace it with. However, came back tomorrow and of course still no white screen part available so they tried to compensate by giving a free tempered glass, which was pretty nice, we appreciated that. However, since we lived a bit further away it was a bit inconvenient to come back the next day and find that they didn't have the part they said they would. Overall good service. read more

I have very bad experience with that store. They fixed my broker screen, but cause my iPhone home button problem. So I called back and they offer me to check it. I have multiple phone calls and two trips to there. Results are they don't even bother to fix it. I knew my phone working before they changed my screen and they still complaint my phone. Let me preface this by saying I have never left a bad review. I believe in giving a business the chance to resolve an issue before doing that. That being said this is the most horrible experience I have had with a business and service provided in exchange of course for being paid to provide the service you claim You know how to do. There is not one good thing about this business. I did get a Groupon for $50 but when I came in they let me know it would be $30 more because I have an iPhone 7. Alright then, let me give you $30 More and let's fix my shattered glass. I come back an hour later and pleased to see the glass is now in one piece. Looks can be deceiving. Instead of a broken phone on the exterior I now have a phone that is sensitive to any kind of touch, clicks on all things it wants on its own. I go back when I've given the phone a couple days to work out its kinks. The owner, the Asian guy, tells me he needs to keep my phone for 24 hours and he's so busy and the guy that worked for him before stole a bunch of money from him and on and on and on. Oh mind you by this time I've gone online and seen the bad reviews. They were under another business name and just like the bad reviews they have gotten on this one their were many dissatisfied customers on that one...but much much more. I can't leave the phone for 24 hours so then he tells me that I can come back to his new location after the weekend and he will fix it and gave me his card with his mobile phone on it. I went in and he fixed it again. I left and thanked him and was so grateful. But instead of the problem I was having now two more have surfaced! The phone freezes for long amounts of time and now whenever I make a call it is sensitive to touch so it will call someone else while I am on a call, or keep dialing numbers if even as little as one of my hairs touches it. I couldn't come in again because the holidays and I am busting, I'm traveling and don't have the time to sit around and deal with long waits and the bs that business offers its customers. But my phone needs to work because I work remotely! So I just came in for my third time and the guy says he remembers me and asks what the problem is...I tell him and he laughs at which point I told him it may seem like a joke, and that I wish it was but it really isn't funny because I use my phone for work and it's costing me much more time and money than the initial $80 he charged me to do it right the first time. I then tell him I'd rather him put a shattered glass of an actual iPhone back on so I can go get it done at a legit place. And he just says ok but then comes back and tells me it's going to be 2 hours! Who has time for all of this?! Maybe I'd understand a little more because of the Groupon deal and come to terms with the lesson that you get what you pay for, but at $80 I'm not really getting a deal am I...just a huge headache. I know these guys are not using actual iPhone screens which may be ok if the quality was good an dit worked but for this reason I urge you to get it done right and make sure they use quality parts so that you won't be in a position where you just wasted $80, your time and energy of which you will get none of back. Please listen to this and the other reviews you see and do not go here. I don't think they will be open very much longer at this pace. You can't just close and reopen under several names and provide the same low quality service and last forever that way forever. Things just do not work like that. read more

First, the guy, called Justin, kept using very bad language in an insulting way. His language is very annoying in no manner. Basically, that guy is very rude like an uneducated person. In addition, they have no skills to repair LG phone. This guy tried and failed, tried again and failed again, and tried the third time and failed again. These guys wasted my time and money and treated customers as a pesty person. This guy never kept promised time. The guys always late and never apologized and justified his late for something happened. Basically, he has no basic manner. Being late is his routine. There is no customer service. My phone was working perfectly without the cracked cover. Once I had this guy take care of the phone then the phone came back to me that no longer work because that this guy discarded immediately the broken cover (the panel below the cover was not wrecked) without knowing me when the cover was removed. Finally, they give up repair and gave me back the phone with another totally broken skin. read more

Kinda shady. One measure of a company is how they react when taking your money. The other, is how they react when giving it back to you. I ordered something, but ultimately didn't need it and needed to cancel my order. It happens. Rather than cancel my order and process a refund, they tried to first tell me they don't do refunds. Excuse me? That is written nowhere. And I they hadn't even received the part yet. Perhaps not even ordered it yet. I canceled less than 24 hours from ordering. Then when I said I didn't need the service, they tried to find a way to charge my employer for the fix instead. Hmmm... I've now said twice that I'd just like a refund, and been offered an unworkable alternative instead. Finally after twice telling me there was nothing I can do, I was offered a refund minus a restocking fee of 10%. For restocking something that hadn't been stocked yet. I just said fine, and got the work done elsewhere. They'll get me for 35 bucks or whatever, but that's fine. It was a cheap lesson learned. Won't be going back here again. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I don't care how good of a groupon you get. I took my daughters cracked iPhone 6 here a few days before Xmas as one of her presents. When I picked it up it seemed fine but within 2 hours it said searching in the upper left hand corner instead of at&t. I brought it back the next day, when a rude repair person named Justin told me it was her SIM card and nothing they did. I went to the at&t store conveniently located next door, and they replaced the SIM. It did nothing. I took it back to JTI wireless where they told me they would look at it and call in a few days. When I called this same person (Justin) told me it wasn't his fault, that it was one of several things.. I told him it was a 2 year old phone that had never had an issue until he opened it up. He had it for another week and when I came to get it it was clear that they had done nothing to fix the phone. I took it to the wireless place on Park Blvd ( where I should've gone in the first place) where they opened it and told me that 9 screws and plates that had no business being missing were gone! Long story short, I took a perfectly working phone with a cracked screen in, and left with a phone with perfect glass that no longer worked as a phone. I'm so irritated about it. He was fairly rude and condescending in the process. I wish I could give no stars because I would. read more
