Black Angus Caesar Salad... It was just. Okay but the dressing was very light and the steak was cut up very small.

I was warned about this place but had also heard good reviews from a few people so we decided to give it whirl. In hindsight I wish we hadn't wasted our time. Couldn't tell you what the food is like because we walked out before we were even able to meet our server. We walked into an almost vacant restaurant and still had to wait like 10 minutes to be seated. When the hostess approached I greeted her asking how things were going and she proceeded to roll her eyes and very unenthusiastically, as if she was annoyed I had said anything, said "oh it's goin'... She sat us and couldn't get away from the table fast enough. Didn't ask what we'd wanted to drink or anything. We sat for another 15 minutes without ever meeting whoever was supposed to serve us so at that point I called it. Told everyone to hop on up 'cause we're leaving. There is absolutely no shot in paying what they're asking for their food if their staff is going to act that bothered and move that slow on us. read more

We were passing through on our way to Eldora and stopped in for late lunch. We were greeted and seated quickly. Had a banana split martini with lunch and it was delicious. The Apple walnut salad with the sweet and sour dressing (believe they made it themselves) was really good. Hubby had the sliders and said they were really good. Will visit again when we come back. Love the way they had tall barriers between each booth. Made for a nice atmosphere with a little privacy. read more

We stopped in to try this place while visiting Greenville. We were seated immediately & the server took our drink order. The menu states their burgers are fresh/never frozen so I ordered the Quarterback burger with cheddar cheese which comes with kettle chips. I asked for a slice of onion since it didn't come with that. Hubby got the Pork Chop Medallions with 2 sides, mashed potatoes & green beans. Our food came out in about 15 minutes. My burger was served with 2 onion rings on top but they tasted a bit burned. My burger was delicious & had plenty of fresh toppings. Hubby really enjoyed his meal. I tasted it & it was divine. Hubby's Pepsi tasted flat but they quickly brought him another which was better. I liked that we paid our bill at the table on the server's hand held computer so my credit card doesn't leave my sight. (I've had at least 2 bad experiences with that.) I was told my takeout order would be ready in 20 minutes so I showed up in about 25 minutes. The manager come to the window took my money and proceeded to tell me it'll be ready in a couple minutes. I said OK 20 minutes later I'm still sitting in the drive-through waiting on my food And being an ignored so I beeped my horn and asked to speak to the manager and I asked her why in the hell didn't she tell me the truth you stayed up my order would be ready in a couple minutes and you took my money and ignored me for 20 more minutes With no update so I told her how wrong it was how I felt asked for a damn refund and. left such bullshit read more

Food is overpriced and not cooked properly. Service is poor, slow , the management needs better training in customer service.

I had very good service and their onion rings were great. I was there on a weekday early dinnertime and it was not crowded. The wait staff was extremely attentive and my burger was delicious. read more

Meh...service is very subpar. I'm a very patient person but when people are asking me who the bartender is then there's an issue. Food...basically a salt lick. I came here in hopes of a step above the fast food joints in town, pretty much the same quality here. Yes I don't do cheese on my steak sandwich, a sin to some but at the same time you can see the quantity and quality of the actual meal. Ordered chicken strip meal, received the chicken with Cole slaw and no fries. Ordered onion rings with and extra sauce received no extra sauce. Chef Mike is doing overtime here. The food was either frozen(salad), lava(chicken parm), or gross(also chicken parm-- due to the chicken tasting like it has been frozen then thawed and then prepared). I would go here just for the fried zucchini and ranch! Staff are friendly, drinks are well-made, and I like the food (I always get the same thing: cajun chicken fettuccine - NO CHICKEN - add Shrimp YUM!!) The restrooms are a little run down, but appear clean. read more

Came here for a wedding rehearsal so I will say that I only experienced this place from their back party room. The space was pretty large and easily accommodated everyone that was there. We had some appetizers that were done very well (typical bar/grill food like fried mushrooms, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, etc.) My husband ordered the chopped steak and said it was okay but nothing to write home about. Let's see, didn't even get to sit down!. Never asked for our names, then I went up to give our names and there was a fifteen minute wait. After 30 mins we walked out. Was seated promptly by hostess upon arrival. Hoping to have something a step above the fast food considering today was Valentine's Day. The rooms you are sat in are congested, loud, and awfully lit. After ordering a steak and my boyfriend ordering a sub, we got our food and had no silverware to eat with for 10 minutes. 10 minutes we waited while our food got cold. Mashed potatoes were flakey and burnt in the middle. Green beans were decent. Steak was amazing and makes up the one star in this review. Finished our drinks whilst waiting for silverware. Drinks were not refilled until we were both done eating. And eating a few ounces of applesauce out of a salad dressing cup is considered a side? When entering the establishment I had asked for an allergy menu and they had no idea what I meant. We got seated thinking the waitress would understand. She did not. When I asked what options were gluten free she walked away from our table. The have hand held devices that they take your order with and it is very impersonal. She took an order for our table and asked what sauce someone wanted on their salad. She had no clue on the menu and when I went to order she ignored my request on what is gluten free and offered me rolls. I ended up not ordering anything. The person I was with ordered a sub with one piece of meat and the dressing smelled and looked bad. She also didn't know what kind of cheese they had for the sub. The waitress was very rude and seemed to not care. I would not recommend or come back. Get rid of the hand held ordering and have your staff know and understand the menu and actually make eye contact with your customers. I normally don't complain but it was very rude. read more

This is a good example of a Small Town Eatery. I think the best part is their burgers and some of their specialty pizzas are pretty good as well. Prices are fairly reasonable decent environment for the whole family. read more

I have never written a bad review so this will be a first. Extremely disappointed. Stopped in for dinner and it was not very busy but the service was probably the slowest I have ever had. I would be more understanding if the place had been busy but it was not. My family has eaten here many times over the years, through the different name changes and owners. JT's Brew & Grill is a good place to eat. I mainly come here for the burgers. My favorite is the Havarti Steak Burger with fries. I have ordered it a few times and sometimes there's a lot of grease that comes with it. I eat here during lunch semi regularly also and take advantage of their lunch deals. The chicken tenders are wonderful. A thin breading that actually taste's fresh. The burger and fish sliders are also a lunch favorite. I have had the chicken parmesan a couple times and while it could be better, its definitely not bad. The wings and pizza however were a definite miss for me personally. The pizza tasted like a Tostino's and the wings had no real flavor. This place has a redeeming quality in the atmosphere. Unlike Buffalo Wild Wings which is located just across the parking lot, there are a couple of T.V.s and 10 beers on tap and generally brings in a more modest crowd than B-Dubs. read more

Great place to eat a evening meal. The streak was cooked right and the fries were hot and not greasy. The Coleslaw was great also. My wife had a 9 inch Cheese and Italian Sausage Pizza. We stopped here while in this town and selected this place due to the yelp ratings. I ordered the southern fried chicken while my husband ordered the Paul Revere sandwich. My dinner came with a small salad and my choice of sides. I selected the twice baked stuffed potatoes. We both were served dinner rolls while we waited on the food. The potatoes and salad were excellent but the chicken was slightly disappointing. It was bland and the leg and thigh were small. I added salt and that helped. My husband's hamburger was very good. It had the burger, mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, and cheddar cheese. He also had fries were good. We had a coke and he had two beers. We sat in the bar section so we could watch the Ohio State vs. Michigan game. It was a nice area with plenty of TV's. The service was a little slow but not terrible. She just needed to check back a little more often. It's not like it was busy. There were only 11 people in the restaurant. There is also a section for just dining but that area had no TV's. We also had the fried pickles. They were good but we prefer the spears vs slices. If your just wanting a great dessert then try the deep dish chocolate chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. Awesome! My third visit and probably my last. I was not impressed my first two times and this was the worst. Service was poor, but they were busy. Had the pizza sub platter. Could have gotten a better sandwich at 7Eleven. Very light on the toppings. A couple slices of peperoni, some canned mushrooms, and cheese. Had very little sauce so the sandwich was dry. Coleslaw was good but fries were too done. Beer and food too high priced for what you get. Atmosphere was nice and was easy to talk to each other without Tv's blaring. read more
