"Thanksgiving Benedict" Sausage turkey and stuffing made into cakes topped with two eggs , gravy and cranberry chutney. Delicious and all that was expected. The decor of this place is super cute. Stopped into jts on a Tuesday morning to check out their breakfast and I was blown away - opted for the Benedict special with bacon avocado and crab cakes - legit to die for. My mom ordered the morning glory French toast with walnuts and cranberries and she cleaned the plate so I'm guessing she enjoyed it. Service was great! Friendly and prompt. Ended up taking half of mine home and the waitress was kind enough to pack it up for me. We finally got to try the breakfast and honestly the menu and food is soo much better than the dinner menu/food. We got here around 1130 and waited for about 20mins. We ended sitting at the bar with our 5year old. It would have probably been more comfortable on a table instead of the high stools but it was my fault because i was really hungry and didn't want to wait for a table! I ordered the chicken and waffles and the sausage gravy on the side. That gravy is amazing! I had to ask for more! Surprising the chicken was not dry at all. The only complaint i had was that i wish the waffle was a lil thicker. I like a more cake like consistency and this one was a little crispy. Hubby got the cowboy benedict. He loved it. It was different with steak, avacado, and tomatoes in it. Will definitely be coming back for brunch more often! read more

Pros-Place is very nice. A cool south shore setting and a really good menu. They serve breakfast until 3pm on Saturday's which was very tasty. Good coffee. It's tight for seating so get there early as we did before the lunch crowd packed this place out in no time. Cons- table for two is tiny. Walked in to JT's around 11:30 on a Saturday morning. There was no wait for a table. They had daily specials and good menus options. We went for breakfast and their breakfast menus was fun and different. It was nice to be able to have a breakfast that was delicious but not the same bacon egg and cheese you get other places. The portions were great and we left feeling satisfied and wanting to return. I had a mozzarella and pesto omelette with potatoes and toast. Their multi grain toast is amazing by the way! I highly recommend it! And the person I was with got the breakfast quesadilla. The quesadilla was great. Even thought I've had this type of meal other places, theirs was better than others I've had because it was different in the ingredients that were used. It was a little on the spicy side, so if you don't like a little heat, you may want to order a side of sour cream, but I would absolutely recommend it! I ate at JT's Cafe on a Saturday night with a friend during the holidays, and it had great holiday cheer running throughout the restaurant. First, parking was a bit rough, because we didn't realize how to get to the next dirt lot next to the main one-- there should be a sign that reads "parking." We were seated right away, which was great because it looked super busy with a good crowd of families and couples. My friend and I each had a glass of wine with our dinners. I ordered the winter salad with chicken ($17) which was great! I love a good salad with the works and that's what I got. Good size too. My friend got the Asian noodles with the shrimp ($21) and she really liked it. It was so big she took it home with her and we never bring food back home. I also ordered a side of fries, which were not crispy. Overall, the staff is young and somewhat inexperienced, but for a place like JT's that's okay. The prices were a bit high for the area-- I could get something like what I got in the city of the same price and not be off of Montauk highway. Coffee right out and all orders arrived together with just the right amount of conversation time in between. Would highly recommend the Extreme and Dog leg. On a side note. It was extremely nice to go to a place where everyone was so friendly and pleasant! Now my partner had a Bloody Mary that was amazing she said best in awhile she has had. Went to toast to find out it was closed for repairs. Pulled up Yelp and saw jts pop up decided to stop in. The place is small but still spacious enough you don't feel like you are in top of each other. For breakfast I ordered the farmhouse Benny which was outstanding. My boyfriend had an omelet which was fluffy and packed with fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and attentive. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the potatoes tasted like they weren't cleaned. They tasted like dirt lol I will be returning for dinner and if they food is as good as it was today I might bump this up to 5 stars. Well I bumped it up to 5 stars. I went there for breakfast recently with my boyfriend. We split a crab omelet and a croissant egg sandwich (dog leg I think it's called). The omelet was huge and pretty yummy. The place was bustling, they had live music going and we got seated fairly quickly. Service was attentive but we never felt rushed. I ordered the Crab Cake Benedict with an add on of sautéed fresh spinach which was so yum, crab cakes had a nice crust on the outside. Eggs were poached really well and spinach was flavorful. Service was just so bad. The waitress was to occupied talking to people at the bar. Bad attitude not polite at all. Never refilled coffee or even checked in our table the food took forever to come probably because she forgot to put the order in. She made a mistake on our bill and when we told her she gave us an attitude but then realized she charged us for the same entree 8x and the best is she didn't even apologize. For me, this place is a study of contrasts. I have found their dinner selections to be expensive and run of the mill. The skirt steak was not worth the price of admission. On the other hand, I've become a big fan of their breakfast. Their pancakes are creative and dead on. Also, milkshakes are available during breakfast! Score!! I've also had their French toast which is mega yummy and their omelettes are good as well. The decor is bright, airy and fun. The place is quite kid friendly for breakfast.
