My favorite Mexican place. Always friendly staff, never have to wait long, they keep the chips and salsa coming and your drinks filled!

The food here was just bad... We started off with an appetizer of the chicken quesadilla. It had boiled chicken shredded inside that had no flavor. It's like they are afraid to season their food. Cumin? Garlic? Chili powder? Hello?? Moved on to the fajitas the meat again lacked flavor. The vegetables weren't cooked enough. They were hard. Enchiladas and tamales were bland. It's like the food was made bland intentionally. The people here are nice but the food is just bad. This was my 2nd and final time here. Los Nopales is a much better choice if you are in the area with a taste for Mexican food. read more

Juanito's offers a great variety on their menu but our family favorite is their chicken soup and the Juanito's dip. Juanito's provides indoor and outdoor seating, bar service and their prices are reasonable if not lower than their competition. Seriously- try the soup. read more

Nice authentic Mexican find! Great lunch specials based on selections, portions, flavor and prices.

Chips were hot and fresh, and the salsa had a nice heat to it. Service was ok (couldn't find the waiter to get hot sauce till too late). I had the Mexican sampler plate, it had a taco, enchilada, etc, good portion of good food. Nothing stellar but I had my mexi-craving satisfied while in LaGrange. read more

Wow. Not much more to say than the service was awful and the food was decent but what I ordered had beans and realized that there weren't any with the meal after we had left. And what I had ordered came with an excessive amount of onions and peppers and nowhere on the description did it say they would be included. Our waiter literally walked up to our table upon us sitting down and didn't say anything but "Drinks?". He never checked on us at all. Los Nopales is just way better in terms of everything. We were in town visiting family and decided to try this place out.Best Tex-Mex food in Lagrange. Service was great, they have a very friendly staff, the chips and salsa were amazing, and the prices were fair. I will defiantly be going back. read more

We ordered a chicken tostada and got ground beef, it was like mush on the inside. Chicken burrito and chicken enchilda plate not any better, the filling was packed with onion and bellpepper, where's the chicken? Beans, rice, salsa and chips average. Service okay. read more

If you are staying at Great Wolf Lodge and want a nice get away, this is the place. The place is a little strip mallish but the food is excellent. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the portions are large. The shrimp are plumb and crisp. The frozen margaritas are lush and full of flavor. The prices are a nice change from resort and city prices. Our family of 4 with drinks and a frozen pitcher ran $60. Great food for the price. read more

Great food and drink, good prices! The Texas margaritas is very strong, and the Juanita's dip is a great appetizer.

Best Tex Mex in LaGrange. In a more Hispanic area I would say a two three stars. Service was great food large and filling. Pricy but fair, would come back many times. read more

while visiting family here my brother suggested we try here, the food wasnt the best, but the waitress was super nice and she even hooked my "adult" drink up since we all know most mexican restraunts try to gip you on the amount of alcohol they put in their drinks. overall i liked the atmosphere and plus it wasnt overly crowded and they seemed to not mind my crazy family! i would most deffinetly come back on my next visit! read more

We entered to the place and no one even bothered seating us. We saw a worker standing there watching television and asked if we should just seat ourselves but he obviously no habla. We waited another few minutes until someone finally came up and seated us. The chips were stale and the menu wasn't very appealing for choices. I doubt I'll eat here again. read more

My wife and I have been going here for 8 years or more. The food is above average and the prices are very fair. The service is above average. We have had issues in the past with our food and each time they were fast and friendly about correcting it. No one is perfect and I get that. The flavor is good and the portion size is very good. I have not left hungry. We know the wait staff and we are always greeted with a smile. If it is busy they will seat you but usually there is ample seating and we seat ourselves. The chips are crisp and warm the salsa is fresh made and it ranges for mild to ..... a tad hot but this means it is fresh. I have never had a bad time there. I take my friends there all the time and they are made to feel just as welcome as I am. I plan on going back as many times as they will let me! read more

Last time I went here I didn't even stay to eat because was so grossed out by the salsa. Our waiter brought us the salsa in the glass container they serve it in. My date tipped the salsa container to pour some in the bowl and none was coming out, he proceeded to turn it completely upside down & the salsa was not coming out at all. After looking at the top of the salsa we realized it had become gelatinous and thus was stopping it from being poured out. Now the only way salsa could be in this state is if had been left out for a long amount of time uncovered without being properly stored. We showed our waiter how it was not coming out so he takes it from our table & then a separate employee, possibly the manager came out & returned the SAME bottle of salsa claiming it was fine, and demonstrated him pouring it out in the bowl. Since it was the same bottle we knew that meant they had just stirred & poked the top gelatinous layer to get it to loosen up. Needless to say we got up & left before placing any drink or food orders. I will not be returning here again! read more
