Great old school diner spot at Clearlake! Portions are big, service was great. Good place for comfort food. It's a pretty decent menu serving standard diner fare. Service was great, they were hospitable with fast service. There's ample parking out front, but they only serve breakfast & lunch. I'd eat here again the next time I'm in town!

Judy's Junction looks like a classic diner and has that kind of vibe. It's spacious and comfortable. It seemed like there were a lot of regular, daily customers which was a good sign. Service was friendly and attentive. We were checked on throughout our meal. Six of us came here for lunch after a boat ride; and it's good that breakfast items were available along with lunch choices. We ordered very different foods: House Made Corned Beef Hash, Mushroom Swiss Burger, Sourdough Burger with American Cheese, Pork Chop, Diced Ham and Eggs and a bowl of Cream of Broccoli Soup. Food was delicious and portions were very generous. The burgers were fantastic. The pork chop was very well prepared and moist. The corn beef hash was tasty. The soup was a bit salty. Prices were reasonable for the amount and quality of food. This is definitely an excellent diner.

Classic roadside diner with friendly and attentive staff serving up delicious, hearty food. Dined on a recent Sunday morning (8:30A) as a party of three and the place was more than half full, with several family groups dining in. We didn't wait long after ordering for our dishes to come out. Our server was quite energetic and checked in often to top off our coffees, no doubt anticipating an impending breakfast rush. I quite enjoyed The Trucker and was pleasantly surprised by the big, fluffy biscuit slathered with country gravy, a breakfast favorite! I ended up taking most of the biscuit home with the sausages because I ate the eggs, bacon, and fruit there. My dining partners enjoyed their dishes as well, and if we're visiting in the area again, we would happily dine in again.

The old school diner vibe is alive and well here...

We stopped in for lunch today. I ordered a French Dip and my wife ordered the California Chicken Sandwich. We both had fries with our meals. The portions were definitely generous. A lot of beef on my sandwich for sure! The roll it was served on was kind of a variation of a Dutch Crunch. The fries were fresh, hot, and crispy! Service was good. Anything we asked for was served straightaway. The only thing that might have been nice would have been to have drink refills offered, other than that, everything was great. The decor is kind of old school diner, reminds me of the places my parents used to take me when I was a little kid. I enjoyed the mental stroll down memory lane. Prices are not cheap. But nothing in our state is anymore. It was close to $40 for two sandwiches and an iced tea. I won't hold it against 'em, I'm sure we'll be back. LOL

Corned beef hash was the BEST I've ever had, finely chopped and crispy!!

The service and ambiance was everything we were looking for in for a small diner vibe. The food was phenomenal and the best corned beef hash and chicken fried steak I've had in a long time!!

Great food, friendly service, fair pricing and good size portions. A definite "down home" feel. I was just passing through, glad I stopped.

Great service! I had the Reuben and it was delicious. The corn beef is made onsite and should not be missed.

I must say, it exceeded all our expectations! We arrived slightly early, and as we waited a friendly gentleman approached us inquiring if we needed assistance. Though the restaurant had not yet opened, he kindly spoke with the staff on our behalf. He invited us to sit in the charming, shaded courtyard. Which was perfect especially since we were accompanied by our sweet Boston Terrier. Our server Kameron was exceptional, attentive, knowledgeable, and delightful. She shared fascinating details about the historic buildings and their connection to the hotel, providing us with a booklet recounting the intriguing story of the Tallman family's legacy. Kameron also recommended the Blue Wings with a sweet-spicy Asian glaze as an appetizer. Without a doubt, the best chicken wings I have ever tasted! Her suggestion was spot on, and we thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband ordered the Fish & Chips, while I savored the Crispy Chicken Salad. Both dishes prepared to perfection. Our dog Winnie was treated to a generous beef dog patty. An impressive patty that left her a very happy girl. Our experience with Kameron truly made us fall in love with Tallman's. So much so that before leaving, I immediately made a reservation for July. The same courteous gentleman who initially greeted us was there to assist with this, offering to reserve a dinner reservation for the evening we arrive. He even offered to show us one of their dog-friendly Main Street Suites. The suite was absolutely stunning. The hospitality we received throughout our visit was exemplary. I am now more excited about our upcoming stay at Tallman's than even our planned trip to the beach house in Fort Bragg. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Blue Wing Saloon and the Tallman Hotel to anyone seeking outstanding service, exceptional food, and drinks!

We ordered pasta dishes (the Alfredo and the ravioli with white sauce), and both sauces were extremely bland. They were watery, almost milk-like, and had virtually no flavor. It was really surprising because this restaurant used to be known for its great food. We didn't say anything while we were there because it was only about 30 minutes before closing, and we didn't want to be those customers or inconvenience the staff. We simply paid our bill and left. Since the new ownership, it's clear that something has changed. Whether it's the menu, ingredients, or chef, the heart of this place doesn't seem to be the same anymore. It's disappointing because this used to be one of our go-to spots. I hope the new owners take customer feedback to heart and make improvements, because we'd love to see Blue Wing return to what made it so special.
