L-T: T5. Passion Fruit Sunrise Tea and M2. Jasmine Green Milk Tea
Kay O.

I've been to this adorable Cafe a handful of times and it's ALWAYS impressed me! I swear they have so many drink options, I can never taste everything! As you walk into the shop, there's a kiosk with a touchscreen you can order from or, if you like me and you like talking to people, there's always somebody behind the register you can order from as well. I know on the weekends they get a little busy, so the person might be in the back, but just go to the touchscreen and you can always get your order Handled that way. They also changed their frozen yogurts, seasonally I'm guessing, since they changed between winter and spring, but they always have delicious flavors! I always like the vast amount of toppings they offer as well!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor and ambience is very clean and modern style with comfortable chairs and a clean polish look![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect for taking pictures and a lot of sunlight, natural sunlight.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hate going into certain restaurants and all they have are neon halogen bulbs that honestly give me headaches. You definitely will not get that here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They also have a cute little Park. You could sit in outside with a shaded area for your puppies.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I brought my two dogs and we did a little hike down the trail and came over here to cool off with some ice cream and lunch. I want to try all of their different Boba drinks and the different Boba or jelly flavors. Next time I will definitely have to try one of the smoothies since twice now I've accidentally ordered the same delicious passionfruit tea and thought it was a smoothie. Lol oops but I was still happy with my choice. I guess next time I need to talk to The person behind the counter instead of the kiosk. Lol operator error definitely.

SM3. Strawberry Banana Twist Smoothie
Charlotte P.

I ordered the strawberry banana smoothie and I think it's tastes odd. The smoothie has the aftertaste of one of those protein drinks. The description of the drink on door dash doesn't mention protein powder so it's a little weird. Also doesn't taste like it's made with "freshly picked ripe strawberries and bananas" as advertised either. They also didn't give me the correct bahn mi I ordered. I was supposed to get grilled chicken, it looks way different and I don't eat pork so I'm not even going to risk it. The image of this sandwich compared to the other from another review is vastly different. This leads me to think there isn't much quality control when it comes to customer service and for the price of 17.99 I don't think that's very good. The bread also feels really hard. Not like a good fresh crisp, like a too hard to bite almost. I don't eat pork so I won't be trying it but compared to other places this is disappointing.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute Boba/Sandwich/Coffee shop![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My friend and I stopped by to get a sandwich and a drink. The owner was friendly and had great customer service. She took our orders and made our food asap. I ordered a Bành Mí sandwich with grilled chicken and a smoothie ( Jungle Paradise). The Bành Mí had robust flavors from the patè, veggies & grilled chicken. The smoothie was sweet. It was good, but I needed a break to finish it. Thank you Tran!

We decided to try the place because we wanted smoothies and there were no jamba juices nearby. $35 for 3 smoothies. The cups they give you have a sort of rounded bottom and the lids don't seal properly. They did not seed the cups in the drink holder at all so when we went to put the smoothies in the car they all tipped over and smoothie got all over the car, my husband, and toddler. He went back inside and told them what happened. They weren't willing to make him new smoothies and charged him full price for 3 new ones. On the way home after that, a lid popped off of one of the smoothies and spilled all down the center console and seat. 1 star for the poor cup structure and the place not having the grace or kindness to remake the smoothies. $70 spent in total for three mediocre smoothies.

Wanted Vietnamese egg coffee. Found this lovely place that offers boba drinks & snacks as well. Disappointing because Vietnamese coffee is not from a machine, even if it is an expresso shot. It's a drip filter. Tastes was ok. [[HIGHLIGHT]]But hats off to the cute decor and good customer service gal.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

T5. Passion Fruit Sunrise Tea and T3. Berry Bliss Tea

9/7/24- Very refreshing and perfectly sweet fruit teas with honey boba done right located in downtown Los Gatos. // Passionfruit Sunrise (with honey boba) The perfect drink for a hot day! The tea is a mix of passionfruit, mango, and peach green tea and really hit the spot. Honey boba texture was perfectly sweet and chewy- great combo! // Ambiance and experience What's unique about this cafe is they offer boba, coffee, smoothies, and frozen yogurt! It's a great option to great a variety of yummy sweet treats all at one location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Layout of the cafe was very clean and service was friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] // Price and value Roughly $6-7 per fruit tea, which is pretty average and reasonable. Toppings are $0.75. // Parking The cafe is located in downtown Los Gatos, which is a very cute and bustling area. There is street parking outside the cafe. I didn't get to try the other menu items but I'm glad there so much variety to choose from. I was really surprised by the quality of the passionfruit sunrise and it was the perfect treat on a hot day. Highly recommend!

Lavender matcha latte
Nareena V.

I came here on a Saturday evening and it was pretty quiet. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance inside the cafe is pretty nice. It's a nice place to chill.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The workers were really friendly. However the drinks were a HUGE disappointment, especially for the price. I would say the prices are pretty expensive, which is expected for the area but it's definitely not worth it for the quality. Their Vietnamese coffee was good but their other drinks were not good. The mango piña colada was way too sweet. The lavender matcha latte was also 90% milk and 10% matcha. It was too milky I couldn't really taste the lavender. I don't think I'll be back for their drinks but maybe to try their fro yo.

Vietnamese Egg Coffee The Classic Vietnamese Coffee T1. Mango on Mango Tea
Brendon N.

My first time visiting Auzzy The Bear and my friends and Ioved it! We got the Egg Vietnamese Coffee, the classic Vietnamese Coffee and the Mango on Mango Time. The Vietnamese Coffee had a delicious flavor that was perfectly balanced with thw condensed milk, making the drink not bitter at all. The egg coffee gave the Vietnamese coffee a fluffier and creamer texture on top of everything else. Both great iced drinks that gave a boost after a fun brunch. Finally, the Mango on Mango tea was a light a refreshing drink that was balanced with sweetness and was perfect for the summer heat. We ended up getting some sandwiches to go as well. The Grilled pork Banh MI didn't have as strong of a flavor that I am used to for a Vietnamese sandwich, but the meat was well seasoned and very tender, while the pickled vegetables gave the sandwich some crunchy texture and a refreshing balance. I really enjoyed that the bread was very soft and airy. The staff were very sweet and kind and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the store front was very clean and cozy[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was a great place to stop by during our walk and we are so glad we did

Vietnamese Coconut Coffee & Egg Coffee
Alisa B.

This store has a lot going on: as you walk in, there's froyo machines, frozen slushies, a boba menu, and banh mi too! We were staring at the menu for a good 5 minutes before deciding on their Vietnamese coffee. I got the Coconut Coffee! This is a blended coconut slush topped with Vietnamese espresso. This drink wasn't really what I was expecting. The coconut flavor was strong, (which I liked) but it seemed like they used a syrup of some kind to sweeten it, so it was WAY TOO SWEET. I wouldn't get this again. It had a strong bitter aftertaste too. The egg coffee that my friend got was better!

Vietnamese Coconut Coffee + Vietnamese Egg Coffee
Juliet T.

Auzzy the Bear is good for families since there are so many options to choose from (coffee, smoothie, fruit teas, frozen yogurt). The building itself really warm right when you enter the cafe, so not much AC/ventilation going on. I ordered the Vietnamese Egg Coffee. The egg topping is pretty light, which was good but the coffee base itself was okay. I think this was more like a fun drink rather than an energizing drink. I took a sip of my friend's coconut coffee, and it wasn't very good. The coconut flavoring was very artificial and left a long lingering taste afterwards.

My new favorite spot to come when I'm in Los Gatos. This place is very clean and welcoming. The staff were polite and even brought our food out to the table. I could give 10 stars the banh mi is something I would I highly recommend to try. Very toasty and the pork was juicy and comes in good portion. Thank Los Gatos and thank Auzzy the BEAR

I love this cute little place! I stopped in to get some yogurt samples and they have really interesting flavors! It is so cute in here Emma is the sweetest and she made me a Vietnamese egg coffee. It was so interesting! She is great, so she deserve five stars!

Jakki N.

This place is the most cutest cafe I've stepped in! They serve froyo, tea drinks/boba and small bites. Prices are very reasonable and actually cheaper than most cafes over. They also have a deal going if you buy a banh mi you get $2 off a drink or a free soda :) The banh mi was so soft and it had plenty of veggies which makes the perfect quick bite. The strawberry matcha latte was delicious although it's not as strong as I'd like it to be. Still the drink was good and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a place to grab quick bite or have a sweet treat after dining at a restaurant nearby!

While I was waiting, another person walked in, ordered at the cashier, and had their drink in hand within two minutes. Several of us sitting there looked at each other like, "Are you kidding me?" I finally got up and said, "Hey, I ordered our drinks a while ago." The employee asked for my name, searched around for the order receipt, and said, "Oh, it's right here -- they'll be up shortly." I tried two drinks, a Vietnamese iced coffee made less sweet and a 3/4 sweet peach... peach something. I forget the name, but the menu is small it's the peach one. Both were fantastic. Definitely on the sweet side but not "this is melted ice cream" sweet like I've had at some places. I'd still probably get the peach one 50% next time. The Vietnamese iced coffee was very intensely flavored, had a great texture, and for whatever reason wasn't as hyper-caffeinated as some I'd had. I've had some Vietnamese coffees that made me feel like I was going to bounce off the walls, this was more mellow. But it still has the strong coffee flavor I'm used to. The peach drink was super refreshing, full of peach flavor, but again the level of sugar wasn't cloying at all. And the little chunks of peach added a nice texture to the experience. Again, not an expert on milk tea/boba, but this was probably some of the best I've had, definitely the best I can remember. Inside the shop is a bit spartan but there's seating for a few groups. Ambience: The shop is not tidy and has a lot of random objects/decorations around; for instance, Christmas decorations and posters that are peeling off. There are also signs that are leaned against the wall in customer areas, like it is an extension of their store storage space. The lack of tidiness & cleanliness made me apprehensive to touch anything and it is certainly not welcoming. I don't even want to imagine how their kitchen area is upkept if they can barely manage their public space. Drinks: My partner and I ordered the white peach boba milk tea and the tiger milk tea. It's really nothing special and it befuddles me that there is high praise for the quality of their drinks. The tea flavour is not strong, nor is the boba made with quality in mind as it was hard in the center. I'm under the assumption that their fruit teas are front-loaded with artificial syrups since that's what the white peach resembled. Price: To compromise quality, the price point is the selling factor. Boba priced around $5-$7 is a rarity these days, but this shop does it. Just know that you're paying for lesser quality in your order. Customer Service: Wow, that needs work. The other review was not kidding about their employees and how they communicate. Customer interactions can heavily change the view of the store and will make/break the experience. With this already broken experience being topped by their employee "communication," I'm surprised they have returning customers. There are a plethora of better boba shops in the same area. I reckon you opt for those if you value strong tea flavour, better customer service, and---most importantly---a store that values cleanliness.
