    Iced Dirty Chai with honey

"Drink your tea slowly and reverently as if it is the axis on which the world earth revolves - slowly, evenly, without rushing toward the future" - Thich Nhat Hanh. What a lovely, peaceful space. I ordered an iced dirty chai sweetened with honey, and settled down at the counter while enjoying a borrowed book from their little free library.

A delightful little tea house serving up healthy and rejuvenating beverages. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere is relaxing.

Love this place! Super cute, but it randomly resides in a Yoga studio. The Deets: + All ingredients are really fresh + Vegan options available + Smoothie/Juice mason jars come with your purchase. Bring it back, save moolah! + Acai bowls are super yummy! + Cute trinkets & yoga gear for sale. Shop while drinking coffee, tea, smoothie or eating an acai bowl. GO there! YUM!

GET THE ACAI BOWL. I was in the mood for an acai bowl, and those of you know know my obsession for these guys know that I'm picky about the texture and toppings, especially with my living in SD for a few years. Mandala Tea House blows it out of the water! I loved how the tea house was located inside the Breathe Together Yoga studio first of all, and secondly the service was so smiley and friendly. It's a rarity to find genuine and caring service folk these days. As a nut allergy gal, I always balk at any granola talk because no one looks forward to getting stabbed with an EpiPen. BUT the girls let me know that there were nuts inside the granola they used (that's all I need to know!! thank you), so I could instead customize my bowl to make it fit what I was craving. They didn't charge me extra for being a restrictive eater either--so kind. The bowl itself is average for Bay Area bowls, and the size is smaller than places like Vitality Bowls, but the quality is so much better. Katie made my Warrior bowl, and she allowed me to add cacao nibs, bananas, coconut shaving, and berries into my bowl. The texture of the acai is so creamy and more on the stiffer side, which is how I like my bowls. A lot of other acai spots make their acai base way too soupy which doesn't taste good. They also serve a bunch of smoothies, juices, elixers, and coffee/teas. They have hot drinks too when they cafe is open (usually during the morning unless it's a weekend), but if you can only come after hours...they have a fridge stocked with their cold drinks for your stomach's needs. Homey service and baristas who know what they're service, making, and talking about. That's what we need more of! Thanks Mandala Tea House! I'll be back.

A bit of a hidden gem but one worth finding! Actually, it's really not all that hard to find as Mandala Tea House is tucked right inside the Breathe Together Yoga studio located on the northern edge of Los Gatos close to Campbell. Don't be afraid to venture here either even if you're not a yogi or take classes here, because once inside, you'll find an open, inviting space where you can order some healthy bites & beverages, and enjoy them on a comfy couch/lounge chair in a seating area blended in with the studio's boutique or at a bar stool up along a high top counter space. The 2 yoga rooms inside are tucked away behind closed doors, so the cafe doesn't disrupt the classes (or the classes don't disrupt you if you're relaxing, studying, reading, or typing away at your laptop (yes, there is complimentary WiFi here as well!). Who knows, you just might be inspired to try one of their yoga classes, I mean they are great here after all! (Please see my review for Breathe Together Yoga for more details on that...) There is much more offered here than tea, so if you were wondering about the "Tea House" bit, you can just toss that concern out the window. Incredibly healthy and delicious coffee/espresso beverages, smoothies, juices, snacks (both locally made and a few commercial brands), and even Açai bowls! And, yes, a variety of loose leaf teas and tea lattes. They even have house-made almond, cashew, coconut, and oat milks! I usually see Katie working behind the counter, and she is always so warm and friendly! Today I got to redeem my birthday smoothie (which was an awesome surprise in my inbox and gifted to me by the studio because I've been taking yoga classes regularly at Breathe Together Yoga since last October. Katie recommended her fave smoothie called Creativity, a blend of banana, raw activated cashews, cardamom, cinnamon + almond milk. Oh. So. Good!! - and that's an understatement! The great thing is I can order it before my yoga class, then pick it up after. If the cafe is closed, then they place it in the fridge for me to pick up. So convenient! Do yourself (especially your body) a favor and get thee to the Tea House!

    Moon milk!

This place is kinda hard to find! It's tucked away in a yoga studio called Breathe Together Yoga. Stopped here looking for a coffee place but decided to get smoothies and moon milk instead. What the heck is moon milk?? I was wondering the same thing! It has milk (you can ask for dairy-free), ashwagandha (not sure what that is), rosewater, maca, clove, raw honey, butterfly pea (not sure what this is either), and flower tea. I asked for it iced but you can also get it steamed. I thought it was good but my friend wasn't into it! If you're feeling adventurous it's worth a try, otherwise they have a bunch of different smoothies and coffee drinks on the menu as well. I wish I lived closer because I would love to check out the yoga studio as well!

    It's so good!

Los Gatos: Home of my favorite things... 1. Cats (and loads of cat statues) 2. Netflix 3. Mandala Tea House I'm don't often find myself in Los Gatos but I'm finding more and more reasons to make special trips down here and the notable potables from Mandala Tea are just the beginning (and the living end). First, you should know that the Tea House is located inside of Breathe Yoga Studio. But also know that this isn't some rinky-dink hot water and a tea bag operation, no sir. Mandala has like 75 different drinks on their menu from teas, lattes, coffee, smoothies, elixirs, bowls, and more. It will be hard to decide but the good news is you can get more than one drink (treat yo'self) and that you can (and should) always come back. My latest visit was well-timed after a several day bout with a very draining case of the stomach flu. Still not ready for solids, I loaded up with a smoothie, an tea latte (with their house-made cashew milk), and a ginger shot that will spice up your gubby like . The ginger-turmeric latte is not what you'd expect, but only because it's better. Healthy indulgence. The Ram & Sita smoothie was the hands down, most luxurious and delicious smoothie I've ever had. Get this every time. Ingredients: Almond Milk, Mango, Ginger Juice, Raw Local Honey, Cinnamon, Turmeric. Benefits (per their website): Balances blood sugar, anti-inflammatory, kindles digestive fire, cleanses liver, great restorative smoothie - almost like a lassi. And it's the T, hunties. There's bar-style seating but the counter is also pretty full of merch (that is super tempting to buy). There's also room to sit in the retail space between the yoga studio and tea bar but the space gives off nothing but beauty and energy, as do their drinks. All is right with Mandala Tea House.

    Tastes like chocolate baby!

At first I came after finding the word 'teahouse' having high reviews. I was first recommended Saraswati smoothie as most popular. Came back and was recommended Hanuman smoothie as most popular. I substituted vanilla for cocoa cuz we all know vanilla wins (just kidding). Second time I drank both to compare. I took pics of all the ingredients so knock yourself out. So the first time I tried Saraswati and purchased their Carob power bits holy nitrous oxide batman I was like a civic racing porsches running around on my feet! So I came back when I had a serious dance-over with little sleep and needed to run errands. And oh yes, did I run them alright! It turns out Hanuman has a much richer flavor and consistency than Saraswati so either I'm switching or I'm ordering another two drinks when I return since comparing them is quite a joy. If you read my tip on yelp I ain't jokin'. If you're a lumber jack, go get a mani pedi before chillin in this joint. This organic om is like no other. 5 stars

    Mandala Menu
    Julia M.

In all of my exploration of juicing/smoothie-ing/healthy snacking on-the-go, never have I EVER found a true gem like Mandala Tea House in either the Bay Area or Los Angeles, where LITERALLY everything on the menu is tasty, healthy, and a good value. Favorites include: -Hanuman (chocoloate almond banana...a.k.a. healthy chocolate milkshake) -Durga (orange, pineapple, coconut, carrot...a.k.a. WAY better than Jamba's tropical smoothie selection) -Saraswati (almond milk, banana, dates...a.k.a comfort food in a compostable cup) (see photo of menu) -Chunks of energy (like a fruity protein-y granola bar, but packed with vitamins...keep it in your bag for little bursts of energy throughout the day) The goods are always served up by friendly, knowledgeable staff, and the menu was created by nutritionists, foodies, and yogis. Folks, the only way it could get better than Mandala is if they were open 24-7 and if/when they expand their menu to include more food. I almost never give 5 stars, but this is WELL worth it!

    Their Açaí bowls are delicious!
    Sarah S.

This place is a gem in the rough! The Mandala is tucked away in a yoga studio and boutique shop. I had one of the most delicious, healthy açaí bowls I have had with cashews, almond butter, homemade granola and coconut flakes. My little latte hit the spot. The barista was very friendly and warm. They made me feel like family! The Mandala Teahouse is worth a visit.

It truly made me miss Yogurtland and I almost wanted to find a Yogurtland and go there and then. The toppings were old. You could tell from The chocolate chips when they all have that gray hazy over them--the old chocolate film. They peanut butter chocolates were all stuck together. The other items, pretty bad. Then, they try to pass marshmallows for "mochi". When I asked the guy up front, he said they're just old. No, bro, they're quite soft and look nothing like mochi--mochi gets hard when it's old--but thanks for admitting what I suspected, that many, if not all, of your toppings are stale. Also, thanks for lying to me. $8 for a cup was pretty expensive (mind you we got almost no toppings). At this lack of quality, irredeemable. We didn't finish our yogurt.
