BEST GELATO EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! First off, the sample sizes are huge. Then you get to the actual gelato sizes, and they're MASSIVE! I got two scoops and could not finish it, which is unbelievably rare for me. They had a chocolate Oreo flavor, which was phenomenal. They didn't scrimp at all on the Oreo pieces. It was loaded up. Every chocoholic's dream! It also has two super cute patios to choose from. It's a hidden gem and I can't wait to take all of my friends here!
I was a fan of their Bischoff cookie gelato even though the cup it was in was leaking through the bottom. They add a triangle treat of some sort to every cup. Service was not a problem. They have an assembly line going. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Parking can be a challenge because it's on the main in Los Gatos.
Really good gelato in the heart of downtown Log Gatos, offering various flavors, including some rotating selections. It's a good place to cool down during many warm days. People were friendly. Quick to help and serve you either ice cream or coffee based drinks. Unfortunately, it's a very small shop without a restroom.
You know it's good when they take a KitchenAid mixer bowl filled with whipped cream out of the fridge to top off an affogato... I came after 4 miles on the Los Gatos Creek Trail. The cappuccino chip gelato was so rich and creamy without feeling heavy! If you love coffee, you will love this place. I'd love to try the espresso gelato. The only thing is just that the espresso will melt the gelato faster than you expect.
Cute shop in the middle of downtown Los Gatos. On a hot day, Italian ice cream is a treat. The prices are what I'd expect in Los Gatos. The service wasn't ok. What was unexpected, however, was that the store was a little unkempt. There was trash and spills everywhere. Just keeping it real, sorry. I think Dolce Spazio is cute, and I've been there several times. I hope it stays around for a long time. I think there can be some minor adjustments, like offer a larger variety of flavors and have staff clean more during their shifts. I understand it's hard to do that when it's busy, but I was there when there wasn't a line. There shouldn't have been messes everywhere.
I came here on a Sunday with a friend at around 4:30 pm and there wasn't a line but the inside seating was all taken in the small space. They had a good selection of flavors, some with creative names and I think you can sample before ordering. Holy Cannoli - The name and the ingredients were all very enticing out of the different options. The gelato pull was impressive and the consistency of it was so creamy and whipped. The cracker on the side was flakey, nice to scoop the gelato with. The ricotta and sweet cream flavor mixed with the crunchy pistachios and chocolate chips were a great balanced combination of sweet and lightly salty. Such a cute shop to get high quality gelato in the Los Gatos area. I would definitely come back to try some of their other flavors next time.
Came in on the Fourth of July. It was somewhat busy, but the service was super quick and friendly. I sampled two sorbettos: one tropical flavor (can't remember the name, but it tasted like mango and wasn't my favorite) and the Strawberry Champagne, which was so much better. The Strawberry Champagne Sorbetto was creamy, soft, and incredibly refreshing. It was perfect for a hot day. I got the smallest size and was surprised it came with about three generous scoops. Definitely a great value and worth a stop if you're in the area.
Dolce Spazio is a South Bay institution. It's been here since I was a kid and the place looks the same decades later. It's clean yet rustic and charming. The service is very fast and friendly as it always has been. The value is pretty good as a decent size cup of gelato is about $7. The gelato itself is decent. It's kind of sticky and gummy but it has good flavor. My favorite flavors are the menta chip and strawberry and cream.
Delicious gelato spot to check out if you go to Los Gatos! There's many flavors to choose from (can also sample) and the serving size is very generous. Love getting different flavor combinations each time I go! There's not much seating here but it is nice to walk around this area!
This place was really good! They have quite a few non-traditional gelato flavors which honestly I liked quite a bit. The staff is also super chill and friendly, plus, the portion sizes are easily the best that I've seen at any gelato place around. They'll let you put (technically) as many flavors as you want, even into the small cup! I had the small cup with the butterfinger and biscotti gelatos and it was so tasty! This is a strong 5 star review and deserves a visit from anyone who happens to be in Los Gatos downtown. I have found my new go-to dessert place in LG downtown!!!

There was a short line, but it moved quickly. I went with the tiramisu gelato on a cone -- super creamy with rich, well balanced flavor. They've got a great selection of unique flavors too; I sampled a couple others, and they were just as good. Dolce Spazio is a solid spot to cool off on a hot day or you're just looking for some high quality gelato!

They give samples and the prices are super reasonable. They have kids scoops too. There is some indoor seating and outdoor seating. There's usually live music next door so grabbing a gelato and sitting outside is a real treat in the summer.

This spot is a staple in downtown Los Gatos and with their delicious gelatos and friendly customer service, it's no surprise why. While they don't have a ton of flavors to choose from, they do have a good variety of traditional and slightly more fun/unique flavors. On my most recent visit I tried a few and really loved the biscoff cookie. I was glad you could get two flavors in the uno size, and that's what I did. I went with the biscoff cookie and stracciatella. My boyfriend got the biscoff cookie and amaretto almond, which was an even better combo in my opinion. They have seating inside and a parklet outside, or you can take it and stroll downtown. read more

This wasn't my favorite gelato place. They don't have pistachio which is usually one of our go tos. The smoothie also wasn't my favorite either. The workers were nice but it just wasn't my favorite place for gelato. They also have some seats there too. Barstools and some tables. read more

My family loved Dolce Spazio Dessert Cafe! A perfect ending to a perfect day in Los Gatos. We stumbled upon this place after a lovely meal in a Thai restaurant close by. The line moved pretty fast and the staff inside were so friendly. We had the Mango Mango Sorbetto, the Strawberry and Cream and the Dulce De Leche scoops. All the flavors were spot on. We stopped into our local gelato spot in downtown Los Gatos this evening. We had the pleasure of having our order taken by the owner Mike. He was very friendly and offered us multiple samples. Mike gave us some options as well as some pairing advice since we were ordering two scoops. We ended up choosing the strawberry champagne and pog sorbet and the gasmic and the banana fosters. These were excellent pairings and will definitely be back for the same order. We always appreciate the great service we receive when patronizing our local businesses! I hadn't been to Dolce Spazio in years. It definitely looked the same inside, lots of delicious gelato options and beverages. I appreciate now they have a lot of outdoor seating - maybe a post covid thing? The service was friendly and fast. We walked in and got our gelato and sat outside. What's not to like? It wasn't very busy in the afternoon on a weekend. read more

Pros: - Conveniently located in the middle of downtown which makes it an easy place to go after dinner - Mom & Pop shop that has been around forever, so they know their stuff. Priced fairly in the market for gelato. They also have a coffee bar! - Service is great. You can sample the gelatos before actually committing to a favor and there's at least 2-3 people working which makes any lines go fast Cons: - Limited seating so would need to be considered if you have a big party - Constantly changing flavors which is good to be able to try new flavors but might be missed if there's a particular favorite Overall, this place has a great vibe and environment and would recommend to anyone who wants a great gelato joint. read more

I must declare this is one of those rare occasions that I actually eat gelato or just about anything of a very high price. I was returning back to Los Gatos for a trip back to where I lived in community college and realized it has changed. I must say for a very good price I got some really cool flavors that I don't usually find in my run of the mill shop. I got the Oh Snap and it was like no other thing I ever tasted. The other one was a strawberry champagne flavor. Never tried that one either. The staff here was very nice, I can tell she was patient with me. Must be a native Los Gatosan. They ever threw in this weird biscuit thingy and it was the perfect addition to any ice cream. There are plenty of seats to eat your ice cream but it's better to take it to go. Will come back again if I can. read more

My family went here for the gelato, which they said was good. I saw that they had espresso so I ordered a double but when I asked if I can have a lemon rind with it the server said that they don't have any and since he's been there they havnt had a lemon rind EVER!?! I mean, espresso usually has the option of the lemon rind (which I like to have with it and 1 sugar cube). I looked at their flier and it says IT COMES with a "twist of fresh lemon rind". Definitely made my evening. **Price & portion, 5/5** Worth it for some top notch sweets and drinks. **Presentation of the food, 5/5** I got a 16 oz hot mocha and while I expected it to come in a to go cup, it came in a big glass piled high with housemade whipped cream and shaved chocolate. Gorgeous! **Taste of the food, 5/5** Probably the best mocha I've had. The sweet whipped cream topped every sip and melted into the drink and it was so decadent. Can't go wrong with this place! I love their gelato: it's super sweet and creamy. I tend to try a new flavor every time I go and so far nothing has let me down. I also appreciate that they have a selection of hot drinks for those cold days (plus their drinks come with in-house made whipped cream! It's delicious and sweet, I could easily eat a cup full of it). Unfortunately, there's not a lot of seating available so keep that in mind if you're coming with a big group! read more

SO... YUMMY! I'm salivating right now just thinking about the oreogasmic gelato. Oreogasmic gelato- 5/5 creamy and rich with the perfect amount of Oreo streaks laced through. Also tasted Oreo cookie chunks every other bite Normally don't get cookies and cream flavored anything but this gelato shop just changed the game. Flavors rotate every other week with a few kept as classics like the oreogasmic. There's a seating area inside and outside the shop. Overall, good service, delicious gelato and waffle cone, and fun area to explore. Located in downtown Los Gatos with lots of shops, restaurants, and bars-- very family friendly. Can park on street or in the spacious parking lots behind shops like Lululemon! read more

This cute little gelato shop is nestled in the middle of Downtown Los Gatos with such yummy gelato flavors as well as a few drinks to choose from! I always bring friends here and they have started to bring their own friends because how much they liked it! They have lots of tables inside and a tiny little back patio where you can bask in the sun on a nice day while enjoying your dessert. Everything I've ever gotten has been so good, you really can't go wrong with an order.. Also, try their whipped cream, it is out of this world!!! read more
