I've been to several different locations and they are either a hit or miss. This particular location was great. Came on a Saturday around 3 and not too much of a wait. The locations are small with no seating inside, but there was seating outside. Came for a green drink which I always get and the young lady that helped us made some great recommendations. She was very polite and helpful. She was able to explain what promos I had included with my VIP package and helped us save some money as well. Was very patient with us and addressed all our needs. She was promoting a tropical drink which I was originally going to get but didn't, then she let us sample it and sold us on the drink which I purchased two. It's great that Pressed has samples in a cooler out front for customers to try.This location is amazing! read more

The Juice was excellent. Unfortunately, for a weekend, they are very understaffed making a simple purchase of a bottle of Mango Turmeric take far too long. It appears that rather than a rapid self checkout, it seems to be an upsell of a membership with the promise of a free shot (the customer before me were sold on) which at the end of the sale included an apology that the free shot would be available next time. The inside is not organized for more than a couple of customers at a time and without an automated kiosk, the other register was a useless waste of counter space. Potential customers were forced to wait outside on the sidewalk, where the sun will be blazing within the next 30 minutes. I typically go for their protein bowl which when made has always been pretty consistent with the toppings and the amount of freeze. It's tasty and refreshing. The cashiers, while typically not upbeat, are still willing to serve you well. There is one table outside, for seating. I'd recommend this Pressed location. read more

I've been to several Pressed Juicery locations and have tried several of their items. This review is based on my experience today (4/6) when I placed an online order for the first time. It was really easy to order online. I even got a confirmation email that my order was ready for pickup about 10 minutes after ordering. To my surprise, when I got to the store, the order was not ready for pick up (nor was it in the process of being prepared). I would not mind waiting a few hours for pickup. However, it is not fun to get an email that specifically says your order is ready when it is in fact not. The employee was apologetic and very nice, though. As for my açaí freeze, it was delicious. The fruit tasted fresh and the granola tasted very high quality. I will return to this location, but order in person. read more

My most recent visit was to grab a quick 2 day cleanse. I was in and out within 5 minutes with my fresh juices. I came in on a Sunday at about 3:30 PM. The store is really small, and it wasn't crowded. There are no seats inside, but there are benches outside. I ordered the S'mores Freeze Sundae, and it was really good. A complication occurred because the ice cream base for the S'mores Freeze Sundae is chocolate ice cream, but the store unfortunately ran out of chocolate, so they had to replace it with vanilla ice cream, which was not a problem. We went into the store to get some juice. I've had this product before and absolutely loved it! So fresh and nutritious. However, we walked in and the cashier was extremely rude and condescending. My fiancé had just gotten over a terrible bout of food poisoning and was looking for something simple. He asked (very nicely) if they had fresh pressed orange juice. The cashier responded, "yeah not really," in a snarky tone. He then asked if they had any lemon based juices. The cashiers response was, "No," again... in a snarky tone. I know that everyone has bad days, but he seemed almost angry that there were customers in the store. We left and went to the Juice bar across the street. We have been here three times now so I fee ready to review. The first was great so we came back. The second time they just opened and somehow weren't ready for business - their acai machine needs time to freeze the goods and they don't arrive early enough to be prepared when they open. (maybe you should show up earlier so that when you open, you're actually able to serve your customers, what do I know?). We even asked when they would be ready to make their acai bowls - conduct their business?? - we could come back (take our money, please!) and she couldn't tell us.. "I don't know..." she sheepishly said. Great, super helpful. Today we tried again for the final time, learning from our past mistake as customers, assuming they wouldn't learn as business owners. It was closed. An hour after opening. No sign on the door, no one answering the phones. Business hours are posted as 8am - 8pm and we're here at 9:05 to an empty business. Maybe more people weren't pleased they couldn't actually have any acai when the business was open. Or maybe someone caught on to their money laundering scheme? First off right off the bat I felt like charging $6.50 for the small size is pretty pricey even though I know it's vegan ice cream. I got the chocolate freeze with almonds, strawberries, and blueberries. I wasn't really impressed by the taste I felt it tasted kinda chalky and it got watery really quickly. As somebody who lives in downtown I love being able to walk everywhere. This morning I went to my favorite coffee shop (Manresa) and then decided to pick up some juice for the day at Pressed Juicery. Bad decision. I asked for a bag to carry my juice home and then about a block into my walk home I noticed that one of the bottles had melted right through the bag and was about to slip. That was the beginning of 15 minute walk home from hell trying to hold 6 bottles of juice in my arms as they all began melting through the bag. Hey Pressed Juicery. If you like old skool "ice milk" frozen dessert maybe it will work because that stuff was mediocre and not true ice cream but dairy brings in that milky creaminess that this lacks. Consisted of coconut, vanilla, pineapple and other yummy flavors in there for a sweet, refreshing taste of tropical paradise. I've seriously never had such a delicious coconut flavored frozen dessert. There was size 1 (small) for $5 non-members or 2 (large) for $6.25 or $6.75 ..can't remember the exact change...You can get 3 toppings for an extra dollar for non-members as well. Lots of fruits and nuts to pick from. The Freezes are perfect for these hot days that'll keep getting hotter come summertime! Yes, it's on the pricier side for an ice-cream type dessert but once in a while it's totally worth it since the FREEZES have such a uniquely infused blend of flavors that compliment each other soo well. The product is good. The customer service is unacceptable. The company takes your money monthly for VIP membership and then makes it extremely hard to use your own money. Last August, an associate at this store flat out refused to use my VIP balance for a purchase, and when I called the customer service afterwards, no one returned my calls, when I emailed, I haven't got any response besides an automatic message, and after I followed up, I got, again, an automatic message that the ticket was cancelled. Oh, well. A few days ago, having accumulated $90.00 on my account, I placed an order online to use this balance and to have the remaining $15.77 charged on my credit card. You guessed it: they charged my card for full $105.77 and never used my balance. Long story short, this time I was so angry, I called and got through to someone called Alice (it took some prompting to get her to introduce herself), and she finally agreed to refund my $90.00 to the card and use the balance instead. Her explanation? On that day, there was a website glitch because they were working on the updates or something along those lines. Never mind there was no error message, no 'website is under reconstruction' message, nothing. Oh, and she apologized through clenched teeth. I closed my account. You should not have to give your money to the company beforehand and then fight tooth and nail to be able to use them. They make you give them a loan for free, and if you decide to just forget it and cut your losses (I seriously considered this), they can just walk away with your money. read more
