    Acai - Classic Bowl

The food was so delicious and the fruits used were so fresh. Service was quick and the employees were friendly. The vibes were bright and tropical. Overall an amazing experience!

Went in this morning for a healthy breakfast, ended up getting a Dragon Fruit bowl, which in my opinion was not tasty at all. It looked great but the base (dragon fruit) ruined it. It taste like plain dragon fruit, which is ALMOST tasteless with some kind of sweetener, so virtually sweet water. Not what I really wanted for breakfast. The service was nice and quick but based on food I would not recommend, maybe their juices are better?

Good smoothie place. Nothing special, but not bad at all. Fruit tastes fresh and drink was prepared quickly. I tried the dragonfruit reboot and it was good. Metered parking right in front and tables to sit outside.

Came with a group and we ordered 4 varieties of açaí bowls. Nice, simple ambiance inside. I loved the huge amethyst crystals on display on the counter and display table. We sat outside and waited for our orders at the picnic tables. For the price of $13-$15/bowl, I'd expected larger bowls, then realized everything is higher nowadays. I had the one with kale and expected to see a hint of green, but there was none. Figured it was pureed into the acai. Nothing to write home about, but still refreshing on a sunny day. Street parking.

Too sweet chocolate "Fountain of Youth" smoothie. Ick.

I ordered the large size of the Fountain of Youth smoothie, which the sign said included blueberries and strawberries and a bunch of other fruits. About $13. Imagine my surprise when I took a sip and it tasted like chocolate! Turns out that I missed the fact that they add cocoa to it as well. I was really disappointed because I wanted a fruity smoothie, but I tried to drink it anyways. However, it turned out to be way too sweet and the chocolate overpowered all the fruit. What's the point of fruit if it's just going to be chocolate flavored? I miiiight come back again, but I would NEVER order that smoothie ever again, yuck! However the staff was pleasant and I appreciated that. Ambiance? It's a casual smoothie place, a little run down but clean.

Kind of a pain to find metered street parking. Counter area inside available to sit and sip or a couple of tables available right outside. The staff is very cool and helpful. Takes a while to get your order though, in case you're in a rush. Their smoothies are very tasty and I find myself going through phases where I have to get my fix continuously. Not cheap though. You're looking at about $12+ per drink. Bought myself a Vitamix after spending soo much money at juice crafters, but somehow, it's just not the same.

Honestly, I liked this spot! I got the açaí bowl and my friend got the dragonfruit bowl. I liked both a lot. It's perfect cus we went right after going to the gym and had this to fill our stomachs after. There's metered parking right outside and there's a few table seating outside the establishment.

I am happy that I stumbled upon this place. I've seen people with Juice Crafters smoothies walking around town for a while and have been wanting to see what they're all about. When I walked into Juice Crafters late yesterday afternoon, I had every intention of getting an açaí bowl and am glad that I did. Their açaí bowls have a unique and fresh taste. I love the almond granola that they add on top! Overall, it was extremely flavorful and fresh. It gave me the fuel I needed before my cycling class. The service was great. I didn't wait too long for my bowl and was happily greeted upon walking in. I give this place two thumbs up and five stars! I'll be returning soon to try some yummy smoothies or juices.

Juice Crafters is on a section of Ocean Park that has some interesting restaurants and art gallery. The interior is stocked with various healthy goodies to choose from as well as a good selection of juices. I was intending to wander the boulevard so I ordered a blend of juices and some peanut butter bites to go. The bites were dense and very peanutty and the juice fit the bill.

But everything is super fresh and they have every salad bar option you could ever possibly imagine plus some you might not -- like their special already made salads. They also have soup, bread, make your own sammies and smoothies, plus tons of chips and snacky snacks. My lessons learned after a few visits to the salad bar -- choose the smallest container possible (it will still cost LOL), don't come unless you want to wait in a line of hungry corporate business folks between 12-1 (I have seen the line go out the door) -- actually my advice is go early because later on everything is picked over (although the staff are really good about filing the salad bar items). Also everyone who works there is super friendly and super busy! It is kind of hard to find the location -- it is across the street from the Colorado Center tucked in the middle of another corporate park but I didn't catch the name of the corporate park. So ... My go to is the Seoul bowl it's so good and perfectly marinated while still being health conscious 5/5. The newer tikka masala has been a fav lately- it's veggie based but the spices and flavor are on point, just as delicious as a non-vegan dish! I think with soy meat it could be even better, I'll see if that's an option next time, but this was 4.5/5. West coast shrimp side is really satisfying and savory. I rly should try more items here but it's hard to deviate from my favs haha. |[ s i p ]| Drinks are also decent but the star for me here is the food. I really look forward to more new food items to come. |[ n o t e s ]| Parking lot is small and kinda hit or miss but it's worth it. :) Ambiance- cute brunch spot while still health conscious.

While I am not at all vegan, it can be a fantastic change of pace when trying a cuisine that is not at all my regular routine. Happily, Variable has tons of choices, and we loved what we got. I was drawn towards the 'N Seoul Bowl' (Korean spicy plant based pork, house marinated Kimchi, organic edamame, steamed organic spinach, carrot, steamed broccoli, onion , organic shiitake, topped with green onion and sesame seeds and side organic quinoa). So good, a bit spicy, and so many flavors on the plate it was impossible to not only love it, but I could not finish it, either. That goes from all their dishes. They are big, and in our experience, it came out piping hot soon after ordering it. My companion tried the 'Indian Tikka Masala' (homemade Indian curry, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, potatoes, cabbage, chickpea, micro green, Served with blend wild Jasmin rice and Indian Flat Bread). Tastes so fresh, hearty, with just enough of a kick to it. I look forward to trying some of their other dishes, too. The burger that the table near us ordered looked fantastic. I gotta think that everything here is pretty dang great.

This used to be my favorite spot for arepas, but after today's experience, I won't be coming back…read more I called ahead and clearly explained my order: three arepa orders, with one having the masa scooped out. I also specifically asked about the price and was told it would be $13 per order, consistent with what's listed online. However, when I arrived, I was told the orders would be charged separately, and the employee became visibly frustrated when I asked for clarification and requested that everything be grouped as discussed. What made the situation worse was the pricing. I was charged $15 per order, which didn't match what I was told over the phone, nor what's listed online or even on Yelp (where it shows around $10). When I politely questioned the discrepancy, the employee became argumentative and made the interaction uncomfortable. I paid, because that's not the issue--but being treated dismissively and feeling misled is. Pricing should be consistent and clearly communicated, and customers shouldn't feel like they're being taken advantage of for asking reasonable questions. Really disappointing experience from a place I used to enjoy.
