I go to Juice It Up! several times a week. Raylynn is the person who typically helps me and she is great! She is kind and helpful and always starts my morning off with a smile. I appreciate the service she provides and the quality of my order. In fact, all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have several food allergies and can only have a couple of things on the menu so my order being correct is really important and my Acai smoothie is always perfect. I wish I could give this place more than 3 stars! The smoothies are always super yummy! I haven't been feeling well (may or may not have the stomach flu), but smoothies have been my only solace. I can't remember the name of one of the smoothies I got, but it was like a piña-colada and the other smoothie was a mango one. Both smoothies were super, super yummy and they made them super quick! The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the employees were a bit rude. No smiles at all - the vibe I got from them was.. they hate their job. Most of the employees are very friendly and welcoming here. The establishment is clean and service is for the most part quick. One thing I've noticed recently which brought me to write this review is a new staff member, I don't know his name unfortunately but he has blonde hair and is very young if that helps. he's been very rude and aggressive towards the female workers. I noticed he wonders around not helping others the couple times I went in I heard him yelling at one of the girls saying "I don't have to do sh*t you're not my boss!" when it was very busy and the lobby was full of customers. It was so sad to see the 2 girls struggle with all the orders and deal with incoming customers. it's not the first time to see this struggle & the few times I've came in he's doing it to them also as a regular customer, I did mention it to one of the other employees but they said management wouldn't do much and just talk to him not to do it again aka he'll just get away with it. this behavior is not ok. This young man seems to be handling himself as if he's entitled or favored and that can lead to someone feeling harassed or in a hostile work environment. So in conclusion , please do better Juice it up in taking better care of your employees and vetting better candidates because this is just not it! Honestly I don't think I will be back anytime soon as this leaves a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I have been a frequent visitor to this Juice It Up, especially since it's been so warm lately. I have noticed coming in during morning hours, usually on Mondays and even Wednesdays that one of the employees doesn't wear her mask. I felt uneasy, considering the global pandemic as well as Juice It Up promoting healthy living, to see an employee not wearing a mask while making smoothies and topping bowls seems unfit. I don't understand why all her other employees comply with the mask regulations in CA but she feels that she is too superior for that? I have asked one of the employees who she was and they said that was the manager. I was in today and this has been the fourth time I have seen her in the front with no mask or apron. The açaí bowls are great because you choose the frozen mix (açaí + apple, or bananas, or others) and then get to choose which three toppings you want. I went in to juice it up for my lunch, which is 30 minutes. Everything went fine until I look at my clock and realize 25 minutes have passed and I still didn't get my smoothie. To top it off, there were 4 people that came in after me and they all got their smoothies before me. I was fuming and when I get mad I just shut down because I'm not nice. There was a little rush and three people were waiting. We waited and waited and they looked busy like they were getting going on making them. So this woman cut in line in front of all the other people who are waiting and she wasn't even a regular customer they even gave her a card at the time.
