I am so glad I did! I ordered the veggie broth, which I was not expecting to come as a cup; I was expecting a bowl of veggie broth. Call me, eating my words, this broth was flavorful and filling! I stopped here in the morning for a Rituals offer - either a green juice or a vanilla protein smoothie for $1. I opted for a vanilla protein smoothie, which is supposed to have 23g of plant protein at 370 calories. I don't usually have breakfast but wanted something to hold me over for the better part of the day, and this was a great substitute. It's almost 1p and I'm still full from the smoothie I had at 9:30a. The ingredients include bananas, vanilla, almond butter, almond milk, hemp seed, cinnamon, and the protein. It comes with a free booster but I didn't add anything because I wasn't sure what the taste would be like but I can see it going well with a cold brew base. I liked the drink overall but in terms of consistency, it was way too thick. I had a hard time drinking it, and it would have been nice if it had a little more milk to thin it out. As a side note, the raw oatmeal here is also really good and I highly recommend it! Run around New York City long enough and you will see juice shop after juice shop so seeing one near the waterfront is hardly a shock. What is surprising however is the *size* of this Juice Press. For a shop dedicated to various healthy drinks and bowls, the space is humongous. The space is also attractive, featuring a very modern and cohesive decor (unlike some other juice shops that seem like they are slapped into a corner of a bodega). I have not gotten anything particularly fancy here, choosing instead to get the watermelon juice that is pre-bottled. The few times I've tried it, it is tasty and very refreshing. Now, it isn't cheap, costing over $5 (I forget the exact price) so I see this as more of a "once and a while treat" rather than a regular purchase. The staff here is always friendly and literally give service with a smile. If the prices were a little lower this would have been a 4* review. read more

There's not much negative things to say about Juice Press. If you're looking to eat healthy, this is your spot. Mostly everything in the store (if not everything) is USDA Organic, Kosher, non processed, etc. etc., also knows as HEALTHY. Today I had the Acai Blueberry Bowl. It is acai, blueberry, banana, coconut, nectar, maple, and granola. It was delicious, and made me feel full even though I didn't eat that much! However, I cannot justify the pricing of this place. I paid $11 for this bowl. The juices range from $6-$13. To be 100% honest, I could use the money spent on purchasing my own foods from the supermarket and making the stuff myself. But I guess the convenience is what you're paying for! This has quickly become my favorite spot to stop for breakfast on the way to work. I buy a Hawaiian healer with greens every weekday, with the Aliv3 algae booster every Tuesday and Thursday. This smoothie is incredibly delicious, with just a hint of spice from the ginger. It gives me an instant energy boost to start the day with and gives me a full stomach feeling until lunch in the early afternoon. The staff at this location couldn't be better! After 4 weeks of regularly ordering they know my name and ask if I would like my regular smoothie when coming in. The delivery guy was clueless when I questioned him, and I had to call Seamless Care 4 times in one day to have my money refunded. The delivery phone number provided by this Juice Press on Seamless was disconnected, and the main corporate number advises you to email because they can't handle customer calls. FOOD POISONING (from a juice bar, crazy right?!) I've been here a few times with no issues. I usually make my own smoothies at home but I had forgotten my own smoothie at home one day so I stopped by Juice Press first thing before work, empty stomach, and grabbed a pre-bottled smoothie. 2 hours later, with half the bottle finished and only that in my stomach, I started having stomach pains.
