I placed my order online at 11:40am and was told my order would be ready between 11:50-11:55am. I arrived at 11:55am and saw the store was packed and busy. I figured it would take an extra few minutes, but I ended up waiting until 12:25pm(!!!) for 2 medium smoothies -- 45 minutes after I placed the order and 30 minutes after I arrived in the store. Customers who ordered after I arrived received their drinks well before me. I asked several times for updates and was continuously told it would be ready soon. The staff member seemed annoyed I was even asking. I had my 5 year old and 2 year old with me, which made the experience extra stressful. They were incredibly patient, even more than me. I was just wanting to get them a small treat after a busy morning but we ended sitting in small, cramped store for over half an hour. We love Juiceland and the smoothies were good, but this experience and the level of service were below standards. Even though the store was busy, it should not take 45 minutes for 2 drinks. I started coming here during summer since I like to do a detox every now and then. I like that they have organic produce for the juices. They also have smoothies and food. Once or twice a month, I like to have a day of just juice to give my body a break and a chance to autoheal itself, I can do this with fresh juices during the day. I usually get 2-3 for one day. They're also refreshing and packed with good vitamins. Once you create an account (which is free) it accumulates points and then you can take $2, $4 off your next purchase. They accumulate pretty quickly and it's just nice to get discounts every now and then. The staff is very nice as well, I never have had an issue here or even other locations I've been to. I usually get the juices that are ready for consumption in the fridge area, but you can also order them fresh and they come out pretty quickly. It's so convenient to have this place around instead of having the juicer at home and make the batch for the day. I just don't have time for that, but it feels good to provide some good nutrients to my body. I'm glad I have one closer location every time I need it. read more

The only one I've been to always was the one in Westlake which is quaint, had fun patio furniture and coconut drinks in a legit coconut, and a pacman arcade cabinet to play for funsies! This new location has tons of banana decals posted all over their windows, so fun! A banana trophy and lots of fun, punny posters on the wall for your fruit jokes of the day! I didn't catch the name of the girl who took my order but she was so fun and sweet, offered us specials of the day and let us take our time with our order, waited and hand delivered our drinks to us with a grand smile and upon noting me take a sticker, was even like "omg, take more! There's plenty and NO one ever takes any!" I got the cocolibre which was coconut water with greens and a kick of spicy at the beginning which I love. Went away after my drink particles settled. Hubs got the peanut butter wonder, the wunderhozen, which is a drink special of the week if you go on a particular day, Thursday? Literally a healthy peanut butter smoothie and made with almond milk which my hubs adores as a lactose intolerant person. Get it! Your taste buds won't know! 5 stars! I've never been to Juiceland but have seen them all over Austin and have been curious on trying it out. It was packed when I came on a Saturday afternoon but thankfully not a long wait. Not from the area but I heard about Juiceland before coming to Austin. It so happened my hotel is 150 feet away. I can see why people love Juiceland. It is pricey and personally I would rather eat my lunch than drink it. I used this place as a post-BBQ cleanse. First day had the Bam Bam which had pineapple, banana, and mango. It was good and just enough banana as to not overwhelm the drink. Then came the kaleinator which has kale and durian?!?! I had to try it, never would have thought that combo. One sip you get that durian taste (I love durian) and another sip you get kale taste. I enjoyed it. Place is a nice palette cleanser after bbq. I'm a green smoothie junkie, so that's my usual fare at Juiceland. Horrifyingly green but healthy, and here it even tastes good. Still can't convince my kids, however. But at this particular Juiceland, they make smoothies into bowls, complete with a sliced banana, granola, goji berries and fresh mint, in this case, so I decided to try one. Amazing little concoction. I am hooked. The placard outside advertised the "bowl of the month," from which they donate half the proceeds to a charitable foundation. Great idea. This month's, alas, had no green involved, but it was blue, and let me tell you, it was delicious. If the bowl of the month doesn't appeal to you, they will make any of their smoothies into a bowl. Take note, however, that you won't be able to sip from a bowl and drive. No drive-through at this location, but the interior is quite pleasant and clean. Seating is limited, but while you're waiting, you can enjoy their tasteful music selection and the mirrored ball spinning over the restroom entrance nearby. The employees were super friendly and helpful. This just may be my favorite Juiceland so far, despite the out-of-the-way location in the bottom corner of a strip-mall off busy Hwy 183. But hey, it's a good spot for a break from work and shopping. Take a right when you see the Juiceland sign on the 183 North access road. read more

I was trying to redeem my "birthday reward" but it was "expired" we'd been out of state and weren't able to use it for the time frame. Asked the brown haired girl at the front if they would still redeem it for me, she was clueless, asked another employee and that girl said "should be able to". She went to the back I'm guessing to "ask someone" came back up front, didn't say a word about the reward and just went ahead and charged me full price. The Paradise Found is excellent, very delicious and it has guayusa for energy. It's $10.50 for a large but it's worth it. The customer service is hit or miss, depending on who rings you up. I'm happy they opened a Juiceland in this area. Pros: Clean and cute place. Very friendly staff. I dropped something and it spilled everywhere. The lady was super nice about it and cleaned it right away. The Julio Verde juice I had was the best I've ever had (I've had so many from other locations). The music wasn't blasting like all the other Juicelands. Cons: I had two small kiddos with me, and unlike most other Juicelands, there is no "kid section/toys. So they were touching everything and climbing all over the place. Grrr... The wait was a little long. Getting out of the parking lot onto Research Blvd took forever. It's a bad exit place (not Juiceland's fault) but overall, the getting a juice took forever. It's in a corner, so sort of was hoping for a drive-thru ... Hehe, I'm a mom, so I love drive-thrus!
