The menu here is overwhelming, and some of the drinks seem redundant. For example, they have a Red Panda series of drinks, and I am not sure how those are different from their regular ones. I settled on the oolong cream tea, or BlasTea, which was also a little confusing because milk isn't in the name. It was really good and sweet, which I like. I asked for 50% sugar, but I feel like they gave me the full sugar. My friend got the black milk tea, which I think is called the cream black BlasTea. She got it with 25% sugar, and she said the taste was really off. It was more bitter than she expected, and that is her consistent boba order at different shops. I tried it and agree that it was not a pleasant taste. I wasn't able to try their regular tapioca because they don't start serving it until 11am, so I had their baby tapioca. I liked how it was sweet. Sometimes baby boba has a weird taste, but this one was good. My drink was $6.65 with the baby boba. They have two sizes, which are basically large (the normal tall size) and massive (like truly monstrous for a boba size). There is only one table for studying/working as the other seats have really short tables. They should really switch out those short tables for normal ones to improve their seating. I like the feeling of sitting on the second floor, but it would have been over for us if the one table were taken as we came here to study. They don't have a restroom, but there is a public one for the shopping center right next door. They are supposed to open at 10am, but we were waiting around for 10-15 minutes for it to open.

fresh fruit tea and thai tea

I don't get why this franchise is so popular here in Austin. It is consistently so mediocre and not good. It's also expensive for what it is. I've been to this location twice now and the first time I got a mango smoothie which was not bad. This time I got thai tea with boba and a fresh fruit tea with boba. The boba this time was actually not terrible! The thai tea was the worst thai tea I've ever had. So obviously a powder that you can see the powder in the cup. I was pleasantly surprised by the fresh fruit tea. It had hella fruit and some of the fruit was pretty solid! The kiwi was sour af and I love kiwi. The grapes would be better if there wasn't seeds. The boba was good! And the drink was not bad. You can't adjust the sweetness level on a good amount of drinks which tells me most are premade. Upstairs there's a couple of places to sit but not the best for studying since there are minimal outlets. The table to chair height is a little off so it's not great for long term studying. There was also a mosquito (I know they can't control that) that was terrorizing us and having a feast. Also did not see a bathroom. However, I'm a sucker for an upstairs space AND the people here are nice.

Lovely tea shop in a beautiful location in Austin. The service was excellent and my drink divine. I had a cafe sua da with a salted milk foam and boba. Delicious.

The sweetness of the tea is good, but it can easily be diluted once the ice melts on a very hot day Boba is bland, so not my favorite. I think next time I will get a drink w/o boba.

Mangonada with Thing Two's gift card in front of it.

This review will be short and sweet (literally)! I came in a few weeks back with Thing Two for some boba (I mean what else does one get here). I was pleasantly surprised to see that Teapioca Lounge now offers Magonadas! I guess I am really the last one to know. This is a slushie blended with mango, lemon, and Tajin seasoning and served with chamoy and a tamarind candy stick. This beverage was fresh, sweet, and just divine. Once Thing Two and I purchased our beverages, we ventured outside to play chess on the large chess set just outside the establishment. This location while tucked away is positioned at a prime spot as it sits in a shopping center where consumers are spending on non-essential items and as such it garners business from weary shoppers looking for a sweet treat or just a break from it all.

I guess this place is now a mini boba chain in Austin. Typical boba drinks but the menu is kind of confusing as they have all kinds of variations of cremes and smoothies. Prices are average - about $6 bucks. If you're in the Arboretum this is your boba stop.

Delicious and reasonably quick boba shop. A quick stop while shopping/hanging out in The Arboretum. Good for the whole family with some seating upstairs.

Went to support Teapioca Arboretum for their Grand Reopening after what we've been through a few weeks ago at the Arboretum. They offer a great variety of fresh tea with added flavors, milk tea (cream blastea), smoothie, matcha series, fresh fruit juice, and flurries (snowyn). We've tried almost everything on the menu. My favorites: oolong milk tea, durian smoothie, lychee smoothie, red bean smoothie, and mangonada. If you're new to boba tea, start with the basic like cream black blastea or oolong milk tea. Oolong tea has nutty taste to it. Lychee smoothie and mangonada are super refreshing. You have an option to add fresh mango on top of mangonada at additional cost. Red bean smoothie is sweet and nutty. Last but not least, durian smoothie. I grew up in Asian and loveeee durian fruit, so I love it. If you haven't tried it or you may have heard, it has a very strong smell and taste to it (some people compare it to a rotten smell...lol). We also got to meet and chat with the owner from HQ - Johnson. Johnson is very nice and cares for each customer walking through the doors. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Loved their shaved ice. I got the original milky ice with Oreos, and tapioca. They added sweetened condensed milk and cookies to it too. Great space, quick service!

Traditional milk tea and taro coconut smoothie

I love the flavor choices here! I ordered the traditional black tea milk tea with boba. I got it 50% sweet and sweetened with honey. I thought it was cool that you get the choice to sweeten with sugar, honey, or stevia. My partner ordered the taro coconut smoothie. Both drinks were soooooooo good! I loved the honey in my drink, and the taro coconut smoothie tasted like it had fresh taro in it. I loved that we were able to enjoy our drinks out in the park behind Teapioca. Overall it was a good boba spot and I would go back for more!

Great place to get tapioca. It's relatively small, but they get the drinks out pretty quickly. There was a long line when I was there, but I got my drink fast. The tea taste delicious and fresh and there's a beautiful view outside of the cafe. You can sip your boba while taking in the view. Great place, good boba.

oolong cream blastea with tapioca and basil seeds

My friend wanted to get some boba after a "hike" that we did, so I chose this place. Their menu can be overwhelming since they have cream blasteas, coffee, frappioca, juices, premium teas, smoothies, slushies, and more! I ended up getting the boba madness with passion fruit. You can't adjust the sweetness in this particular drink because it comes with so many different add-ons. It was pretty good, but I think two or three toppings is good enough LOL. I tried my friend's oolong cream blastea and it was a little bland, but she did ask for half sweetness. My other friend's cream blastea was like a milk tea, so nothing special about it.

Great place for boba in Austin! Amazing and friendly service. Drinks come out quickly and flavor is delicious! Love the area that the shop is located in and love the store's interior! Reasonable pricing and sizes of drinks! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

I will say that sweeter squeezed 9 ( apple, ginger and lime )was surprising awesome. They say the juices are good for 7 days from when they arrive but there is an expiration date on the bottle that is over a month after I received it. I used multiple coupons with the online purchase and deliver was in the expected window. A 3 days cleanse is expensive, think I was in it for ~$102 and some change after their 30% off coupon and the Bobby bones show coupon The cacao cashew milk is actually good - there isn't a strong coffe taste. Expiration date is 7/15/2019 and I received it on May 30 2019. Again, way longer than the 7 day expiration they say. The strawberry cashew milk is disgusting. There is also a LotId on the bottle which makes me think there is a factory or factories that do the cold pressing. Heck, probably a similar factory that does for other smaller companies. On the first day, I cheated and had a slice of pizza, on the secondary day some tuna and green beans and on the 3rd day a salad. At the end of it, I can't say I feel any better or have more energy. I will say that yes, I cheated , but my sugar/soda crave did substantially decrease. Don't think this is a life style for me, but did help me to realize that processed food, dairy, and high fructose corn syrup are bad for you. You probably don't need this if you actually eat healthy.

I don't think I've ever walked into a boba shop and immediately thought, "wow, this feels like an…read moreexperience," but here we are. The place was SUPER crowded when we arrived, but the line moved surprisingly fast, and there was even a kiosk to self-order if you didn't want to wait for cashier checkout. Efficiency aside, one of my favorite things was honestly the smell of the space. While waiting for our drinks, there was this fragrant tea aroma lingering in the air--you could genuinely smell the tea despite all the cream, milk, and sweetness floating around. As a tea lover, that immediately won me over. The place was also exceptionally clean despite how busy it was. I kept noticing employees consistently wiping things down and cleaning as they worked, which weirdly made me trust the sanitation here even more. And can we talk about the drink design? These drinks are SO cute. The intentional sticker placement over the lips, the little carrying handle--everything felt carefully stylized. You could tell they weren't just trying to make something flavorful, but something memorable and visually fun. I never thought I'd say a drink was Instagram-worthy, but these felt like the supermodels of the boba world. Even the receipt paper somehow felt luxurious (yes, I'm seriously mentioning receipt paper in a boba review). That tiny detail made me realize how intentional every aspect of this place feels. Nothing here felt accidental. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my personal favorite, only because I had eaten way too much creamy food beforehand, but I genuinely loved the tea profile here and could absolutely see why others would adore this drink. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had earlier in the day, this absolutely HIT the spot. The tartness was perfect and super refreshing. The cream had little bits of lemon zest mixed in, adding even more citrus aroma and making the drink feel brighter overall. I also tried adjusting the sweetness while ordering and was told it had built-in sweetness--but they reassured me that if it ended up too sweet, they'd gladly swap it for another drink. I genuinely felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy. Thankfully, no return was needed because this drink was perfect. Creamy Mango Tart - Literally the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much. Both tart drinks felt refreshing and balanced, and instantly became fan favorites for us. Overview--I love, love, LOVE this place. Like... 1000/10 levels of love. From the experience to the drink quality to the sheer intentionality behind every detail, I couldn't be happier with this visit. I'm also ridiculously happy to hear one recently opened in Houston because I would LOVE to bring my cousins here someday. Would go back in a heartbeat--this has officially won the spot for my favorite boba place.
