It was awesome that they deliver the juices to your door however with the cost of this cleanse, it's to be expected. I signed up for the 3 day cleanse and will only be completing 2 days. If you enjoy working out to stay fit, this cleanse isn't the one for you-you will not have any energy to hit the gym! While I think the stuff you are putting in your body is great for you- the side effects not so great. Headache, dizziness, nausea (all due to the fact that you are not eating). This is probably mostly due to the fact that I'm a beginner and haven't cleansed like this before but I would definitly recommend eating with these juices, they just don't fill you up enough! Their website has a ton of great suggestions for the right kind of food to eat while you cleanse. Overall, glad I tried it but probably won't do it again. Juice RX is amazing. I have done a cleanse before and had to gag it down and did not feel completely revitalized after. Juice RX has such quality drinks that taste very good. They also are extremely accommodating if you need to alter or change up drinks. I did a 3 day and then loved it so much tried a 6 day shortly after. I am now doing a 5 day. It is addictive so be careful! It had incredible effects on my hair and skin and really made me feel so good. I also am a caffeine addict and I am now cured! Coffee or starbucks does not even sound good if you can believe that and I was a two latte a day girl. I do have to say, it was tough working out on the cleanse. I am a huge fan of Juice Rx. The product itself is very high quality and well worth the price. I wanted to get a jump-start on a long-term weight loss goal so I recently did a three day custom cleanse. Besides the overall feelings of better health, clarity, and more energy, I lost 7.5 lbs in the three days! Of course, the weight will come back on fast if you aren't disciplined, but this was exactly what I was looking for. I felt full all day long, got tons of nutrients, and consumed about 1,300 - 1,400 calories per day with the juices I selected. Have recommended it to many friends already and they all say the same positive things. The hardest part about doing a clease is getting off the daily caffeine addictions of coffee and soda...once that is out of the way the rest was easy. On top of all the health benefits, the customer service is phenomenal. I heard back promptly multiple times from Dean (the owner) when I had questions. The juice is delivered by 1030am on the day you schedule delivery, but one time mine was there by 730am on a Friday. Another time, I told Dean I wouldn't be home to get my juice refrigerated until 5pm and he took care to pack the delivery with extra cold packs to last until I got home from work. I have completed 2 JuiceRX cleanses. The first one was a 3-day cleanse and the second one was a 5-day cleanse. I purchased the 3-day cleanse via a Gilt Chicago event back in January. This was my first true juice cleanse and I wasn't sure what to expect...but I expected to be hungry! After placing my order I called JuiceRX to ask a few newbie questions and was VERY relieved that I actually was able to speak to a live person upon my first call attempt. Dean was patient w/ me and answered my questions. My juices arrived just after the scheduled delivery window but I received an email letting me know they were running behind. The 3day cleanse was hard. I was not really prepared for it and did not follow any of the "pre-cleansing" suggestions. Needless to say, I was hungry. The juices, however, were absolutely delicious. I never thought I would enjoy a green juice! Long story short, the 3day cleanse wet my palate and I decided to do a 5day cleanse in April. I followed the pre-cleansing instructions and I rocked it! I am confused as to give 3 or 4 stars. This is my 1st cleanse and I started with the 6 day, 3 of regular & 3 of green. I am finishing day 4 now. The response time through email is great. However, the delivery times being a 3 hour window on a Sunday/Wed is not the best set up & they can't narrow a time down for you, I asked. As for the cleanse itself I honestly have NOT felt hungry and I am a drastic over-eater, part of the reason I started this, so I think that is great. I haven't felt nauseous, light-headed, etc. However I am not bouncing full of energy (which i hoped for). My energy level feels the same as it did when i was eating way too much food in a day. So that's leaves me wondering if it's really "working" for me and I am 100% sticking to just the juices & water. I do think all of them taste pretty good as well. One had cilantro, which i just do not like in general, and I emailed & Dean swapped that one juice out for just carrot juice (amazing) for my last 3 days. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about Juice RX, except delivery times/options & possibly the price (even though I knew that ahead of time). Great experience-- highly recommended!!! i had never done a cleanse before, many of my friends had, but I didn't think I had the willpower to get through it. In mid December i was feeling so low energy and so bloated that I decided on a whim to try it. I thought that even if I could get through part of the 3 day cleanse that I ordered I would be better off than I felt. I ordered the 3 day regular cleanse with some modifications. Thats one of the great things about Juice RX. Other cleanses I looked at had very specific juices that you have to drink. i tend to have lots of food aversions and get nauseous easily so i was psyched to talk to Dean and find out that I could substitute whatever I wanted to make the experience work for me. I did mostly fruit juices with the chocolate milk at the end of the day.YUM!!! I looked forward to that all day long- its like a treat yet it is so healthy! The rest of the day was filled with some other really great and interesting flavors-- pineapple jalapeno was my favorite next was the spicy lemonade first thing in the morning.... but I liked all of them and did not feel deprived. On the second day, I felt a little nauseous. Going from xmas eating to juicing was a little extreme. I called Nicole and she gave me some really great suggestions. More water... a few raw veggies ( I had done all fruit juices for my cleanse). She was right on and I felt better pretty fast. It was great to have someone to help support me through the process..... I ordered another cleanse in january and actually just ordered my third. I think its a great way to keep my body on track. i felt so good during both of my previous cleanses and am looking forward to that feeling again after my 3 days!!!!! I did the green cleanse last week and LOVED IT. It was my second attempt at a juice cleanse. This past January I attempted another cleanse from a different company, I lasted all 3 days but was miserable, sugar highs and lows, headaches, feeling lethargic and very very moody. I told the people in my life that if I was ever on a cleanse kick again to tell me to forget it. But, I stumbled across your site with the green cleanse, less sugar option, and gave it a whirl. Several friends and I decided to do a juice cleanse for the first time, and due to the fact that they can be pricey, I wanted to do thorough research before deciding who to choose. 3 days and a lengthy pro/con spreadsheet later, we unanimously decided to go with JuiceRx, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. Some things that won me over: local, organic, BPA free, non-processed, no store front. I didn't want something shipped to me via FedEx from California...which has been heat processed in a plastic bottle, nor did I see good reviews of places that were also trying to serve walk-in customers. JuiceRx uses organic ingredients, and they are fresh pressed and then delivered right to your door. Everything about our experience with them was great. Dean was so super helpful and quickly and politely answered all of my questions. Since we had a big group, he worked with me the entire way to be sure our order was handled correctly - and it was...everyone got exactly what they ordered, nothing missing, nothing wrong, nothing spilled or burst (as I saw in some other company's reviews). I did a 3 day cleanse, and it was great. I lost 5lbs, and had no problems with most of the juices...the beet juice upset my stomach a bit on the second day, so I skipped it on the 3rd day, and all was fine (no one else had any issues with this juice...it was just my stomach I guess). I was very full from the juices, and found that I wasn't really hungry for the next juice when it was time. It wasn't hard for me to stick to this cleanse, the juices tasted great, and all of us had our own favorites, attesting to the fact that they appeal to everyone. I admit, I still did my usual workout on day 1 and day 3, and I didn't have any problems, my energy was fine. The only thing other than the juices that I consumed was filtered water, and lemon water. This was a great way to start Spring, and we all felt refreshed and slimmed down after the 3 days. It's nice to detox and feel lighter and more aware of what goes into my body. I'm not really a juicing - cleansing aficionado but after hearing about JuiceRxCleanse I decided to give it a try. 2 days into the 3 day cleanse I knew I was hooked. Yummy flavors and great results. I was a little hungry the first day but not the second and third. I was concerned about the "cleanse" but it is natural and gentle. The best part is how I feel. I have been "cleansing" for 3 years now- I jumped on the bandwagon; truly as it became 'vogue' to do it. I started with the "Blue Print' --being super inconvenient (out of NYC), strictly on their delivery schedule and delivery cost astronomical. etc etc... I thankfully have moved on (I did 10 BPC)...I was excited when Peeled and Green Corner opened/ love to keep it local. Taste was similiar to Blue Print- so only advantage was no delivery cost- I was still limited due to so many "groupon" deals these storefronts were giving out; I couldn't do the cleanse when I wanted to do the cleanse. I have done this cleanse several times, both for truly cleansing as well as to take a break from some severe dietary restrictions I have. First off, the juices taste great. I have tried a couple of other cleanses in Chicago and Juice Rx is by far the best - their use of spices really make a difference. The fact that you can order on line and have them delivered is really convenient. I love love love the spicy lemonade and the Fat Flush. Even the green juices taste good, I hate cilantro but don't find it off-putting in the Evening Green. While I do not care for the mac milks, the other, seasonal nut milks (particulary gingerbread, holiday nog and the strawberries and cream) are awesome, and looking forward to them as your last for the day makes it easier to get through the rest of the cleanse. Customer service is awesome. I would do this more often if not for the cost, but given the quality I do think it is a reasonable value. read more
