Who doesn't love a Jamaican patty? Well at Juici Patties, you can treat yourself to some delicious flaky patties in so many ways: * purchase a single patty (for a quick bite) * purchase a patty combo * add a side item or drink with your patty * purchase a box of 6 or 12 patties At the moment the only variety of patties they have are: mild & spicy beef, vegan spinach, and spicy curry chicken. I don't do anything spicy so after greeting one of the female employees, I ordered a double patty combo which came with a drink. Within a few minutes my name was called and I went to retrieve my order. Okay so the two patties that I ordered was mild beef and vegan spinach; and for the purpose of this review, I will take a bite of each and give my opinion....both patties are a hit with me. The crusts on both are flaky with just the right amount of filling, which is seasoned nicely. Beef patties are usually my go to, but now I think I'm into the vegan spinach. I hope Juici Patties can come out with more patty varieties because they are absolutely delicious! I am definitely coming back for more.

The patties here are just so amazing. I tear it down every single time. one patty is never enough, which is why this spot is so dangerous the service is pretty quick for how busy they are and the restaurant is very clean so 10 out of 10 for me. They also have rewards that you can sign up for but like I said family I try not to come here too much because this is highly addictive.

One of two new locations in the USA. This one and the other in Hollywood, FL. Juici Patties comes to you straight from Jamaica. This location is on the NW corner of Commercial Blvd. & University Dr. The parking lot is small and tight for the traffic this small plaza receives so keep that in mind. They've been open roughly a month now and the line is still out the door. I arrived to find 20+ people in front of me but eagerly wanted to try them so patiently waited 15-20 to get to the cashier. It's a small bright clean spot with fountain drinks and fruit juices. Service was polite. I placed my takeout order and waited another 5-10 minutes. I ordered 2 spicy beef, 2 mild beef, 1 spicy chicken and 1 mild chicken but they ran out of spicy chicken so I got 2 mild chicken instead. I also ordered a coco bread. Pastry is super flaky delicious and I also enjoyed the filling. I wouldn't wait in that long of a line again but I would definitely come back when in the mood for a patty as these were very delish.

Real Jamaican Patties in the USA! Parking: located in a strip mall in central broward. There are other eateries (chipotle, Indian food) and a nail salon. At certain times the parking lot very busy so you may have to walk a minute. Drinks: a nice variety of traditional Jamaican sodas and juices Food: so the Patties were decent. They were a little tough but fine. Service: the staff was nice. However, they were out of most Patties when we went. We had to wait 15 minutes. They need to do a better job operationally so they don't run out. Atmosphere/vibe: nothing fancy but a perfect spot for Patties. You get to see Jamaican people. Wish they played some good Jamaican music Age group: all Bathroom: clean Return: yes

There was a lot of excitement a few months ago when Juici Patties opened a store in Hollywood. Soon after, another opened in Lauderhill. The Jamaican patty eateries were welcomed with long lines and the stores being cleaned out of daily inventory. We dared to stop at the Lauderhill store at dinnertime on a Saturday on our way home from furniture shopping. I guess enough time has passed because we were elated to find a line of about 8 people inside the store (and not running outside and around the corner). The servers were perky and friendly. The cashier sported a wide smile and a very friendly demeanor. The offerings are slim: spicy and mild beef patties and spicy and mild chicken patties. Of course, there is cocoa bread and a few specials with avocado (or as we say in Jamaica "pear"). Patties are offered in meal combos, too. I do like that the menu is limited because then they can focus on what they do best: patties. I did not like that there were no vegetarian options (unless you just wanted to eat a piece of the warm, delicious, squishy cocoa bread that they serve). The spicy chicken patty was good, better than most (and no cloves were used, thank goodness!). But the crust lacks the flakiness that can be found with all the beef patties. The spicy beef was excellent! While there are a few Jamaican patty stores, Juici is very good and among the best. I still will go to Golden Crust for my spinach patty and to Hammond's for my callaloo and ackee and saltfish patties. But there is plenty of room in town for another patty store. Welcome Juici!

I had high hopes for this famous chain. I can't say I was disappointed but I wasn't wow'ed either. Service was friendly and quick and efficient, you just order at the counter. The coco bread was piping hot and soft! Probably my favorite part. I ordered one mild beef and one spicy beef. The crust was definitely buttery and flaky, like a patty should be! I felt it lacked flavor, could definitely use a bit more seasoning but the spice was there. Since it was hot & fresh, the filling grouped up in one corner of the patty so I couldn't get any filling until towards the end of this mid-day snack. Will def be going back to try more patties!

Had to go check them out once the Lauderhill location opened as there was so much hype about them when the news was first announced that they were coming to the US. Id have to say they r decent patties, I think the real selling point here is the crust more than anything else.... (flavor was ok but i think it could have been more pronounced)... crispy and flaky... that consistency was a big plus. Coco bread was very big and fluffy but again flavor was more light than im used to.. aside from that .. staff was very polite and efficient. There were about 18 ppl ahead of me.. many with large orders and with that in mind the wait wasn't terrible.. so def another plus.

I waited for all the hype to die down because I was not waiting in longs line for a patty lol.. I finally got to try Juici patties in the US.. anytime I go home (Jamaica), I have to have either a juici or tastee patty... I ordered spicy patty, coco bread and a drink... the patty and coco bread melted in my mouth. I felt like I was home! Delicious is not even the word. It was so good. I normally get my patties from Taste Rite up the road but now it's neck and neck for me. I just need them to have other variety besides veggie and mild. Service was quick and I didn't have any issues with staff.

I've had some pretty tasty patties from here. The temperature always seems to be just right. I do wish It had a little more flavor on the filling. But, the crust is perfect. It takes them a little while to fill the orders but, I do see myself going again.

We ordered the box with a mix of mild beef and curry chicken patties. The mild beef is delicious with the right amount of heat. This is a takeout place, with a few tables. We order in the front and the warm patties came out very quickly.

I've been meaning to try their vegan/vegetarian patty since they opened up.

I stopped by the restaurant next door to pick up food. When I got in my car I noticed this nice establishment. I went in and I'm assuming because of the time of the day, there was one person in line. I went up asked for a veggie patty. The nice lady shouted vegan patty and I paid. I was a little taken back by the price $4 but gone are the days when patties and a coco bread was $2.50. The place was clean, the staff were pleasant. I was one penny short and she gave me my dollar back. This was about 6:45pm so I'm sure during lunchtime things will be much different. As for the patty, first bite was perfect. Nice flaky warm patty. I was pleasantly surprised it was spinach. Mildly spiced, well perfectly spiced. It was HOT and tasty as I bit into it. With each bite I kept exploring the taste. These patties were worth the $4. Juicy patty is close to my job and instead of going to some crappy fast food place looking for a wholesome lunch; I will come here. The food I picked up will now be lunch for tomorrow. After eating the patty I'm too full to eat the food I ordered as mentioned above.

When we first pulled up, the parking lot was nearly empty, and inside there were only a few people scattered around. My companion went straight to the restroom, so I found a seat at the bar. The first thing we were told was that the kitchen was already closed even though it was only 9 PM which was a bit disappointing since I was hungry. Since it's an Irish pub, they mainly serve beer and wine, so I ordered a Guinness followed by a light beer. Despite the slow start, the night turned out to be unexpectedly enjoyable. We ended up meeting some wonderful people from Italy, Poland, and Turkey. It was especially nice connecting with the gentleman from Turkey, as I had traveled there last year, and we had a great conversation about that experience. The same went for the gentleman from Italy. It was refreshing and easy to talk to everyone. Even after closing, we stayed outside for a while continuing our conversations. The atmosphere inside the pub had a classic Irish feel, very reminiscent of my time in Ireland years ago, with signed celebrity photos decorating the walls adding to its charm. Also money from various countries. The lady behind the bar was extremely friendly and attentive throughout the night, constantly checking in and making sure we were taken care of. It's been years since I last visited, but after this experience, I'll definitely be going back soon.

I truly appreciated the effort they made to accommodate us and make sure we still had a good experience. I ordered the $25.99 Pick Four brunch option with the chicken waffle sandwich and two wings, and my kids had the chicken and waffles. This is lengthy, apologies. My experience with Lakeview…read moregoes back 35 yrs, going there with folks and now as an owner myself. It's always been a great value and good food. We as owners "own" it, it's not open to public and of course the prices are reasonable given the give and take of Board...bless their hearts... and residents, and the weird dynamic that it can stay in business while losing money. Yet with Lakeview's value, I don't go there often enough, and most owners don't go at all...some sell their food cards at a loss. Last night I had salmon, she had soul picatta. It was very good! Chicken noodle soup a minor misstep and not the end of the world. Buy top shelf soup from a purveyor and be done with it. Continuing... "Flaming Desert Station" nice but waste of time and manpower, a gimmick that has to go. Include a dessert served from kitchen. Don't charge $2.25 for coffee. The restaurant is not open to public so I'm not giving away anything and the residents of P.I. already know, but, we're only open 2 nights a week and there is no chef! Kudos to Alan for more than holding up his end upstairs and downstairs in Chippers!!! Alan is a valuable asset. The hoity-toity menu has to be phased out, i.e., Baby Lamb Chops etc. The Board might have found some solution of sorts for breaking even by being open only two nights plus Sunday buffet, but seriously, there's no rent or owner needing to make a profit, there's no extravagant Chef salary...it's an imperfect solution. Lakeview should be a crown jewel of P.I., adding value to P.I. The fancy menu made sense back in day. Alan has figured out how to do that menu with no spoilage, only open two days, that's incredible! The food was good last night! Don't take away the Sat night menu from the loyal folks that do go there for fine dining at very reasonable price. I humbly propose this first step in making Lakeview an asset instead of liability. "All You Can Eat Ribs/Shrimp" on a Friday night. Admit Friday is a work in progress and start on high side of price always explaining to resident's that the Friday idea is to fill the place but not have it overrun on day 1 by giving away the meal, and price will be adjusted accordingly. And maybe some sort of "mission statement" posted outside saying that demographics always change and Lakeview is a work in progress, but we all fail if we don't support our own restaurant. Ask for support from residents if we are ok losing a bit of money temporarily, but on high volume, not low volume like we have now. To the Board...and some of us have said as much at meetings...give us comfort food and great value on Tues, Wed (already in place) Thurs and Friday. Frequent reminders that it's our restaurant. Double the price of the food card if these changes work. It could be a virtuous circle. What restaurant wouldn't die to have 3000 units worth of $175 ($350) food cards as guaranteed revenue. Everybody mumbles as much under their breath. Open the ballroom doors even if it's not used. Would give a feeling of spaciousness to go along with fabulous view of lake. p.s. the staff upstairs and downstairs is fabulous. Shout out to our CBS's John Dickerson lookalike. I showed him a pic of the CBS news anchor last night. He, Alan and the rest are really good people. Last question is to me. This is a weird place to post, will anyone ever see? Might be a good thing.
