This place has a strange atmosphere. The interior handwritten decor is questionable, but entertaining and good conversation starters. There was barely any wait time to be seated but then I waited for 15-20 minutes to be asked what drinks the table wanted. I ordered a sprite, fried shrimp basket ($11) and make your own combo with 1/2 of shrimp and 1/2 of black mussels ($15) medium spicy level. The sprite tasted like carbonated water. The fried shrimp basket says on the menu that it comes with Cajun fries and you can substitute onion rings for $1, but according to my server, Cajun fries is a lunch thing. Even though there is a separate lunch menu. So that was confusing and/ or I got jipped. The seafood combo sauce was very flavorful, no missed notes there. The potatoes and corn were nicely boiled in the sauce, which was good. The black mussels however half of them were uncooked so that was also a loss. Took my friend to dinner last night for her birthday, we both love seafood so we wanted to try it. First it's a sit down place, and they put a big sheet of paper down over the table, a sign it's going to get messy! lol Being honest, I love seafood, I just don't always know how to eat some of it. We had the special, lobster tail, crab legs, shrimp w/corn cob and potatoes for $30.00 each. It comes out in big steam bags to keep them hot, and it is delicious, but I made a total mess, my friend had to help me figure out how to eat the lobster tail. I wasn't able to finish my meal (rare for me), the server was great, and the place was busy at 5:00 on Saturday night. I hope they stay around so I can go back and try something else. If you've had hot n juicy, boiling crab, or any other chain for a seafood boil, this is an attempt to mimic those places and it's definitely far from being on par. I ordered the shrimp with the head on with all the seasoning and spicy level hot. Service: My server was pretty awesome and attentive. He displayed an exceptional level of customer service. He didn't look like the majority so I am going to assume he was the general manager. Menu: The menu was very straightforward. The prices were surprisingly low compared to prices of places like the boiling crab, angry crab and hot and juicy crawfish. Food: The shrimp drenched in lemon pepper was greatness! Plump and not over cooked. Try them in medium, super delicious. The Snow crab was fair sized sweet and delicious. The Blue Crab.... I mean it was kinda tasty but they were so tiny... not worth cracking... little to no crab meat... left hungry after eating a dozen of those tiny little things. The wings...delicious meaty flavorful, try the sweet chili sauce. The bill. 71$ for 4 of us? Not bad at all! The inside is light and bright, people have signed the walls and wood trim around the restaurant. They take a large piece of butchers paper and put it on your table and give you menus. Yes it has errors on it no joke... our server Oliver was great with us and had plenty of energy. He dropped off a large bucket filled with napkins, utensils and the seafood bibs. Lea got one of the boils with crab, crawfish, shrimp and corn and potatoes. The cost about $20 it looked really good and you can pick the seasonings for it.. if you do this and want seasoning I would ask to try it prior your idea of hot might not be...also if you have seafood you need lemon there had real lemon but you should have REAL BUTTER.. I got the fried shrimp, hot and fresh the breading was nice better than other places the issue I had was the order of sweet potato fries a slight up charge. They were cold and for me this always seem d to be a problem? Oliver hooked me up and brought fresh fries with my shrimp. The cocktail sauce had a good bit of horseradish and it was a nice bite to the fried batter of the shrimp. I would be willing to come back and try other things it was reasonable price wise. They have been open about a month and are part of a small chain. Also they have an interesting menu of things you might not see at let's say a Red Lobster. Plenty of parking as they have a small lot. Came in on a Saturday, 6/23/18 around 6:00 PM. There was about 15 minute. After being seated at our table the waitress came took our order but the food took longer than usual because they were a bit understaffed. The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered the weekend special and lb of King crab legs, calamari, and side of rice. We tried to order their waffle fries but were told they ran out. Overall, it was great experience and we'll definitely be back. The price was fair and the quality was good. Hope it stays that way as they get busier. Come early or be prepared to wait. read more

I was really excited to try this place and drove over from a nearby city. The clams are disappointing and really tiny. The snow crab in garlic butter is DELICIOUS. The ambiance ,however, is terrible. The service was even worse. When initially ordering, the waiter was very irritated that we had questions even though we explained it was our first time there. We had to ask him 3 or 4 times for ketchup after he brought our fries. By the time he remembered to bring the strange no-frill bottle of ketchup the fries were cold. He never offered refills on empty drinks or anything. New seafood spot located on S Winton in Henrietta, NY. This seafood joint is branded nicely and even gives the customers reason to come back and not just because of the food. They allow you to sign your name on the walls of this establishment, imprinting a piece of you there forever. They recently stopped giving you sharpies so you will have to bring your own. Employees were very friendly and caring. The food was amazing and they give you different options of spicy and seasonings to choose from with whatever you order. This gives you the perfect opportunity to customize your meal to your liking. This is also a family friendly environment with clean tables and bathrooms. I orders Hushpuppies for my appetizer and 1lb of King Crab Legs that also came with corn and potatoes, making the meal more than filling. These crab legs were so delicious and the shells were soft making it very easy to take apart and creating an enjoyable experience for me and my family overall. Good job you guys. I would have given this restaurant a higher rating if Ray was initially our server. Unfortunately, Nina was our first server, who are very rude and made it clear to us and the other servers, that the table we were seated at was hers and she was going to be taking care of us (or so I thought). She made a scene with the other servers and was adamant that the table was hers. She doesn't introduce herself and just ask for our drink orders. She NEVER returned with our drinks and proceeded to IGNORE us when we were trying to get her attention. She was quite immature. She must have lied to management because we were asked by someone who appeared to be the manager if we "asked for Nina to be our waiter" to which we responded "we don't know her". We were disgusted and ready to leave when Ray noticed our frustration and came over, apologised and took our orders. Ray was thoughtful, friendly and responsive! Once he took our orders, all was fine - until we received our meals. The calamari was okay but the fried items (shrimp, catfish) and the fries were way too crispy. If you love seafood, you're gonna love this place. It was a little busy first time going but within 10 minutes, we were brought to our table. Had a very disappointing meal. Tasteless fried shrimp on a bed of greasy fries. My friend has chicken tenders on a bed of onion rings that were so greasy you could have wrung the grease out of them. When seated, the waiter put a piece of fresh paper over a table drenched with drawn butter. Butter soaked through before waiter had left table. He put another piece over it and butter soaked through again. Terrible service. Greasy food. Tasteless food. No eye appeal. Not even a sprig of parsley to add color to fried everything. I was super happy that I got a chance to eat here! I ordered the lobster special with a lobster tail, half a pound of shrimp, half a pound of crab legs, two potatoes and half an ear of corn. I chose the juicy special seasoning and spice level hot. Oh my goodness the seasoning/sauce was so flavorful that I could've drank it with a spoon! The seafood came out very quickly which I was worried about at first, but everything was cooked perfectly except the corn! The corn was very mushy so I didn't eat it, but with the amount of seafood I was satisfied. The server was friendly and attentive. I wish we would've been provided crab crackers(crab was almost gone by the time the server came over)but we dug in with a fork and our fingers and made do! The food was delicious and you get a good amount for the price you pay(it's seafood, it's a bit pricey). So i've been going to juicy seafood for a while. everything was fine at first, food was good every time i went. the waitress or waiter will definitely not talk to you or treat you in any special way, they just take the order and bring the bag, literally. that's not the reason for the 2 stars. i did take out one night and my crab legs had green gunk on them, clearly they weren't cleaned properly. still ate it wasn't gonna make a fuss about it. another night i was with my sisters and we literally waited over an hour for our food, mind you the place was not busy whatsoever and there were definitely enough staff standing around and talking. another night my friend really wanted to go here, so we go. i find a piece of hair in my food. the waitress was apologetic and told me she'll give me a refund and get me a new plate of food. i didn't want to waste the food so i'm like it's fine just get me a different plate, at this point if i got more food i wouldn't finish it or want to take it home anyways. manager comes out and says where's the problem? he didn't care to say hello or apologize or anything. didn't give two shits. he said since u ate most of your food we can only give u a couple dollars off. so rude. crappy customer service. they gave me a five dollar gift card to use as a discount. will not be returning. if i'm craving seafood i'll go to seafood harbor. read more

The service was very polite but that wasn't enough to get passed the trashy atmosphere (raunchy writing everywhere, cafeteria packaged condiments, club music) and the quality of food. I was hoping for a seafood restaurant in this area would offer good choices of fresh foods at reasonable prices.Still have not found one after visiting this place.I went for lunch to try it out before bringing friends and loved ones.I am glad I did, as that option is now off the table.I was greeted by a man that acted as if I interrupted some important chore ,maybe he was looking at the horse entries at Fingerlakes Race Track or some other brain wracking diversion.While being led to my table I noticed that almost all the staff were Asian which made me think I was in for a new variation of seafood delights.The interior décor is a quasi attempt to suggest a New England oceanside establishment.It fails miserably.The menu is centered around what they call "boils".This is a listing of choices of various shell fish cooked in a plastic bag with sides of corn on the cob or potatoes etc.Not sure how that works since different items require different cooking times.You get to pick which flavor spectrum you are in the mood for.These range from spicy Cajun,to simple garlic butter.I saw a server bring 4 of these puffed up plastic bags to a nearby table and they all looked identical.Kind of odd looking and the guest gets to pop the bag open and dig into the food.There is a hand washing station in the middle of the dining room for those that have shrimp to peel or crabs to crack open by hand. As for me , I chose a calamari basket from the lunch menu.It was very reasonably priced at $7.00 and included a generous mound of French fries.My issue is that the calamari was very heavily breaded and fried and was served with a cup of spicy /sweet Asian duck sauce, but the fries are frozen pre-spiced Cajun flavored.The two flavor types do not marry well.My appetizer choice was New England clam chowder(why not)? Big mistake....it was sent back after one spoonful.It was thin,overly strong flavored of something( not clams) and appeared to have been over- heated in a microwave, since the cream had broken down.The manager/owner came to my table and asked why I rejected it and also informed me that they have had many complaints about it already....duh.....why is it still on the menu?When I asked if they made it in-house he said" no..we buy from US Foodservice".I politely suggested that they get a recipe and make their own, or source a better product and re-visit the heating methods. On my way out I saw a gentleman with a large platter of raw oysters in front of him.He did not look happy and I asked him how the oysters were? He replied "ok..just ok".I hope this place will make some appropriate adjustments to flavors and quality.Maybe it will survive longer than McAlister's did but I have some doubts. read more
