A great experience! Our first time here. The manager walked us through the menu and the sauce bar. The spices were great! Spicy to sweet were all available. We got there near closing with a couple other families also eating. The items on conveyor belt had 3 different types of noodles, 3 different veggie leaf options, 3 different mushroom options. My mom got the beef broth with added ramen and shrimp balls and added her own sauces. I got the seafood Tom Yum with added udon noodles, shrimp balls and chicken. 5 stars for service and food. If there is one thing I love it's soup. Any time of day, night or year. And this places didn't fail me! I've been trying out new hotpot places in the area since one of my go-to spots has been lacking recently. And this JuicyPot place really stood out. The restaurant itself was nice, clean, and the staff was constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. Most of the tables I saw were for up to 6 people. We typically roll deep when it comes to hotpot, so super curious to see if they have a party room for larger groups. Now on to the food! I loved that I could get more than just hotpot, I could get appetizers for just $5 more. We ordered the wings, fish filet, potstickers and the spring rolls! All of which were yummy, especially the fish. What I liked was that they didn't give us too much either, it was just the right amount of each item so that we could still enjoy the soup! And the apps where AYCE, so we could have ordered more if we wanted. Now on to the main course... the soup. I had the beef broth, which was super tasty! Their sauce bar had my go to items and more. So definitely not a disappointment there. They also had a good mix of proteins from beef, lamb, seafood and veggie options. I just wish they had fried tofu puffs, bean curd soy curls and fried tofu skin and some veggie dumplings to deepen the veggie bench. Love eating all the tofu toppings with the broth! They had a decent amount of vegetables to pick from, but would have liked to see pumpkin, squash, taro, more mushroom options, and more leafy options. They definitely had a lot of noodle options which I really liked so you'll definitely find something you'll like for sure. And lastly, the meal came with desserts! I always love when an AYCE place includes some sort of dessert. Like your typical buffet. They had 4-5 options you can pick from popsicles, ice cream sandwiches, and the like. My husband and I stumbled across this place by accident looking for a smoothie, but when I got inside I saw that it was a buffet style hot pot. We had been eating there nonstop since last spring. First time trying any type of Hot Pot, ever. Decided to give this a try since we were bored of the restaurants we frequented. First off, the restaurant was very clean. We liked the ambiance and decor; it's neat and tidy. We were greeted and seated promptly and our server, Stacy, gave us the run down of the menu. We got to choose a broth, proteins (there were several options including both meats and seafood items), and the conveyor belt had lots of different veggies to choose from, as well as different types of noodles. We both picked the spicy, he the spicy chicken broth and me the spicy veggie broth. He chose beef brisket and chicken while I chose shrimp and mussels for my proteins. We both enjoyed having the voices of veggies and noodles from the belt - you can customize your meal individually. Awesome. Our hot pots came to the table a short time later. Upon trying the broth my itself, they were amazing and full of flavor! Absolutely delicious. Just as good, if not better, after adding our noodles, veggies, and proteins. So good!!!! This place did not disappoint! I'd have to say it's the best hotpot in town. Albeit I was really hungry so I'm biased but I've tried a few places now and I gotta say the broth here was the best. I got the spicy broth, and typically I hate the numbing feeling but it wasn't too crazy for me and it was still flavorful. My girlfriend got the beef broth and we were expecting it to taste like pho broth, which it did but a little on the bland side. She added some of my broth to hers plus my special homemade sauce from the sauce bar and it made it better. I think it's ok to have the broth a little bland tho since you're adding in a whole bunch of stuff into it - but could've been a teensy bit better. I really love the selection of sauces from the sauce bar and the appetizer & hotpot is definitely worth it. Make sure you can eat a lot though if you plan on doing that. Wings and calamari were really good. Obviously fried but not greasy which makes me feel good while eating. Would recommend and plan on coming back. read more

I took my family out to check out JuicyPot since we were craving some hot pot. Upon walking in the door, the space is very open and clean! It was slow because of the current pandemic situation, but the staff is very welcoming. They even provided each table with a mini sanitizer spray bottle! Because it was slow, their menu was a la carte ordering instead of the moving tables. This was perfect because the items came fresh straight from the kitchen! Even if the conveyor was running, it's a short run so the food would still be fresh anyway. We ordered a whole bunch of items and meats for our table and the presentation was great! The soup was perfectly seasoned and the sauces were flavorful. We love cilantro, so it was not an issue that it was used as a garnish for almost everything. But if you are sensitive to cilantro, please make sure you mention it to your server. We will definitely come back for more! This place is in a strip in front on Colonial right off Pine Hills Road. Easy to find and a good variety of items. I gave 3 stars because I'm a little spoiled by my usual Hot pot place. Came to their soft opening today and my expectation wasn't too high since it was their first day. But it turned out good, what impressed me most was food quality. Everything that came out on conveyer belt was really fresh, especially the seafood. I like that they have a variety of broths to choose from for your hotpot. First of all, this meal blew us away. It was fantastic. We randomly were in the mood for "Hot Pot", and after a quick search on yelp, stumbled across this place, and we are so thrilled we did! They have a HUGE variety of sauces which I really love. There's no shortage of sauce combinations to go with your food. Their appetizers options are tasty, love everything I tried, especially their wings. Upon my first visit I was beyond impressed with their COVID-19 precautions. They do a fantastic job of keeping everything clean. All of their meats are covered and in a freezer. The seafood is fresh on ice. I have a shellfish allergy, so Asian cuisine always requires a certain amount of caution for me. I asked several questions about the broths, sauces, and preparations, and was very comforted by the answers. Highlights: When I do hot pot, I always get pork bone broth. Juicy Pot does not have pork bone broth, so I decided to try their beef broth. I was not expecting much but I do not believe this made the experience any better. The beef broth, straight from the kitchen, is divine. I would have drank it straight from the pot at that point. Adding in the meats and veggies over the next hour only made it even better, something I wouldn't have believed possible, considering it started as the best broth I've ever tasted in my life (does anyone have the recipe???) The buffet bar has tongs for each individual item on it. This separation eases my mind of cross-contamination issues. The meat is perfectly sliced, frozen, and presented to be pleasing to the eye. The veggies were fresh and quite varied. (The shellfish looked really pretty, but I didn't spend much time with it :-) ) As it was a Saturday and lunch time, my wine was buy one get one. There's no better way to make me leave a better review! The dessert offered was a good variety - I'm a chocolate person and they had a chocolate dipped vanilla ice cream pop and an ice cream sandwich. So often, hot pot spots have "fun and interesting" flavors, so the classics were greatly appreciated by me! Suggestion to the restaurant (and this is completely silly and unnecessary): The restaurant is clean, the food is incredible, the price is a steal, and the servers were incredible. They check literally every single box for an exceptional dining experience. If I was to nitpick one thing, there is no hook for a purse in the ladies room. I like the fact that it is convenient and on colonial so you can shop then come here for dinner , but this hot pot buffet item seem limited when compared to other buffet in the area. Last time I went there, you have to order the shrimp and scallop from the waitress then they bring it out to you , while other buffets just put it out there. The scallop is only bay scallops and not the sea scallop and they were being skimpy about it. They refill the meats and seafood such as fish very slow. It took them a long while to refill it in the buffet container area. They didn't refill much of the area till it's almost closing and we seeing them sweeping their area. Loved this place! The server we had was really interactive and very helpful, and did a great job explaining everything. We had the all-you-can-eat hot pot for $22.99 which is actually pretty cheap compared to other hot pot places and it was a really good value for what we ate. I chose the beef broth because our server said it was the most nutritious and it was really flavorful as well. The buffet bar included a variety of vegetables such as bok choy, seafood mushrooms, daikon, etc. proteins included sliced pork, beef brisket, tendon, fish cake tofu (absolutely LOVED), and hanger beef (definitely recommend). They also had a good variety of sauces but if there was one thing that I missed was the sha cha jiang which is my favorite sauce when I eat hot pot. But, it didn't bother me as much as it did because they still had a wide variety of sauces to choose from and the broth was already flavorful. In addition you also have your choice of noodles and sides: ramen, egg noodles, rice noodles, udon (HIGHLY recommend), white rice, youtiao. You can also ask for fresh seafood which includes blue crab, whole shrimp, and scallops. Lastly, if you've had your fill of all the meat and hot broth and noodles your stomach can handle, you can cool it all down with some ice cream. Keep in mind, everything I mentioned in this review is part of the AYCE deal! They have also taken cautionary measures in response to COVID: all the servers wear masks, there's hand sanitizer as soon as you walk in, and there are gloves available for every time you go up to the buffet bar. I got the spicy one, forgot what it was called. I personally like the lamb, pork belly, mushrooms, and mussels. For sauce - I like to go with garlic, chili oil, green onions, spicy garlic, and end it with the soy sauce. Service - the owner is pretty friendly. I personally loved the fact that he asks for feedback at the end of my meal I honestly think that is the reason why this place gets better as I return. Every time we've been, (10+) everything is stocked, fresh, the service is fast, and really I'm drooling just thinking about it. Every one of the broths are spot on, you can't go wrong with any of them. My husband sticks to chicken but I like the Thai Tom Yum(spicy). The beef, pork belly, lamb.... excellent... and the vegetables... you can't beat. Try the fish cakes. Some of our favorite appetizers are the calamari, spring rolls, and the Juicy wings. Decided to come here for my birthday dinner. Overall, I thought the food was good and restaurant was clean/practiced social distancing and provided safety measures for guests, however the service wasn't the greatest. One of the servers, who may have been the owner was very nice, but our main server had a bit of an attitude. With a party of 6, I think our server was upset by a couple of the requests our party had, which I understand to an extent. It was our first time here so it's just a matter of understanding how they work versus other Hot Pot places that are a bit more accommodating. I will say though, I felt some requests were very common. We asked for napkins and water, and he came back with water, but no napkins. Because all of our cups were empty, he had to make another round for water and I gently reminded him about napkins. Not even half way through our meal, our server came, dropped our bill at our table without saying a single word and we never saw him again until the end of our meal when we had to go to the front to ask for more water. The other guy checked in on us a couple of times, which was appreciated. It was my birthday, so it didn't really end on a good note because of the service, but I was overall happy with the food. I'd come back, if invited. I wanted to speak to the Manager, but on our way out, I didn't see a single employee.
