I came in for an acrylic fill and pedicure and showed a reference photo of the cat eye nails I wanted. The owner immediately told me they couldn't do cat eye, so I agreed to switch to chrome instead. When the chrome was applied, it wasn't visible at all. I mentioned that I didn't want to pay extra for chrome since there was no noticeable effect. At that point, my nail technician told me they actually could do cat eye and brought over another technician to do it. Unfortunately, the finished nails looked nothing like the inspiration photo, but I accepted that and was ready to move on. The problem came at checkout. I was charged an additional fee for both gel and cat eye. I politely asked the owner to remove the cat eye charge because of the confusion and because the final result wasn't what I requested. Rather than taking any accountability for the miscommunication, he argued with me, talked over me, and insisted I pay the full amount. I've overlooked imperfect nails in the past because everyone makes mistakes. What I can't overlook is poor customer service and refusing to take responsibility for a situation the owner created. After years of being a loyal customer, I expected much better. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated--not because of the nails--I won't be returning.

I called on Monday to schedule an appointment for Wednesday and agreed to come at 12:00 because the morning was fully booked. When I arrived, the owner told me I had actually been scheduled for the following Wednesday and even claimed I had told him I had a doctor's appointment and couldn't come. I never said that. If there was any confusion about the appointment, it should have been clarified during the phone call instead of blaming me. I stayed anyway because I simply wanted my nails done. While removing my acrylic, he accidentally scraped a small area of my natural nail. That wasn't even my main concern. Accidents happen. I simply pointed it out so he would be careful with that area before applying the new acrylic. Instead of acknowledging my concern, he immediately blamed me, insisted I had damaged my own nail, became defensive, and told me that if I didn't like his work, I shouldn't come back. He then stopped my service, packed up his supplies, and refused to continue working on my nails. After being a loyal customer for so many years, I expected professionalism and respectful communication. Mistakes happen, but refusing to take responsibility, blaming the customer, and walking away in the middle of a service is unacceptable. For years, I continued coming to this salon because I genuinely appreciated John's work. Even after I moved and had to drive 35-40 minutes every three weeks, I still came back because I trusted the quality of his work. However, great work alone is not what keeps customers loyal. People also expect honesty, respect, professionalism, and the willingness to listen when a concern is raised. Those qualities are just as important as technical skill. I left with unfinished nails and had to go to another salon to have them finished. I am genuinely sad that after 10 years as a loyal customer, this is how our relationship ended. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I will never return, and I cannot recommend this salon to others. I sincerely hope no other long-time customer is treated this way.

I call ahead. Told to wait 15-20 min. Arrive in 25. The lady looks at me and says "I thought you…read moreweren't going to come." In front of the entire nail alone. I ask, "Why would you think that?" And then she just has like a little weird giggle and brushes me off. I'm only 5 minutes off and it's not like had an actual appointment scheduled. They were still in the middle (not starting) servicing someone when I arrived, so it wouldn't even have mattered. I would've still had to wait. I'm sitting down, and the lady tells me the guy will start on me after a customer already there requests a manicure add on service all while I'm already waiting and it's only 2 in there. Which means they both will be occupied on him. I'm sitting at the pedicure bowl, and it's DIRTY inside and she's wondering why my legs were not propped up oh the foot rest. Even THAT WAS DIRTY!! She just rinses it out with water. :/ Residue is still inside. So no they don't use linings!! The guy is literally trying to go back and forth between me and the client getting services NOT A HAND WASHED, NOR SANITIZED, NO GLOVES!! I asked could he at least sanitize his hands or something before touching me again. He goes to wash his hands a the lady told him to just stay working on the client already there. Mind you I need a soak off hands and feet on top of a service. The drill bit he was about to use to take my gel off also looked VERY USED!! They basically wanted me to sit and wait for them to finish the guy, they close in 30 minutes. At this point I had already been there 15-20 minutes myself. Didn't offer me anything to drink even though they were sitting right there. I just decided to not get serviced and leave! Very unsanitary. Also the bin that the blue towels you dry your hands off with, also had trash in it! Idk what they got going on in there. Lastly, whenever the lady walked over to me to look at my nails, she had the same gloves on that. She was using to do the pedicure, touch my hands to see that I polish on there, and then literally sat back down to go work on the man's feet again. I'm a licensed Esthi/cosmo myself, so I know we ALLL should know proper infection control. Never again. I wish I would've taken photos of the dirty bowls

We walked in around 6:30pm on a Saturday and I like their store hours since they are opened later than most places. You are offered non-alcoholic complimentary drinks. You can havr alcoholic drinks if you want as well. My nail tech Nathan had us laughing the whole time! He did a great job and my cousin and I are very happy with our nails! Will be back :)
