The quality of hair services are sub par.The stylists needs to pay more attention to their clients desires and requests. I used to have Jamie cut my hair but for whatever reason the last few months she has cut my hair it's been uneven. I just couldn't continue to keep going I finally had enough! This salon is so outdated and very tired looking. It's dark and dingy looking! Watch out the prices that they charge are ridiculous for most of their inexperienced stylist they have. The fact that they charge their clients extra a for anything that ALL other SALONS include with their services. JUST BEWARE OF THE "EXTRA" charges when you checkout. I wish I could give this salon more stars! I was able to get an appointment the same day for myself plus one more! The atmosphere is great! Great products on display for sale here (even Doterra!) The environment is clean and cute (I love the old school hair dryer on display!) The salon menu is incredibly affordable for nearly every budget ($55 for a cut, wash, and style!) We arrived a little early for our appointment but unfortunately some guests arrived late for their appointments (scheduled before ours) resulting in our appointment to be pushed back a tiny bit.. This wasn't a big deal because the front desk promptly communicated this with us as soon as they found out. The communication here is top notch and very much appreciated. My stylist, Jamie, was so bubbly, educated, experienced, talented, trendy, and knew exactly how I styled my hair before she got to work without me even telling her! Sitting in Jamie's chair I literally felt like my longtime best friend was doing my hair! Jamie knows hair and it's been a long time since I had a stylist like Jamie work on my hair, and I am so glad my hair and I met her! Thank you, Jamie! I won't say any names cuz I don't want to ruin whatever rep they may have, but I am now searching for someone I may know to fix it for free, cuz I can't afford to pay for another haircut. Booked an appointment here for my daughters dance competition, the receptionist was super sweet, unfortunately that was the end of the good experience. I showed the stylist was I would like (1st picture below), what I received is the last three images which were taken immediately after leaving the salon. My daughters dance coach looked at her hair, said it was unacceptable (no product was used except a tiny amount of hairspray so nothing held, massive flyaway hairs), as well as a safety hazard due to the "ponytail" barely being secured, I had to take down my daughters hairs and do French braids into a ponytail on my own. I was charged for a "special occasion" ($55) for this service which as I stated I had to take out and redo. read more

I have now been here twice and will be making an appointment soon. I have been seeing Shauna Lincoln it's my understanding all of the stylists are independent contractors so each stylist would be different. But I can't say enough about Shauna, she is personable, great at hair and color and very accommodating to your schedule. About the shop: Juliennes shop is clean, well put together, each station is well put together. I haven't taken advantage of ALL she has to offer in her salon but she also has a rather nice pedicure station, there's probably a lot of services I am unaware. Julienne has her own line of hair products as well, I highly recommend you trying the shampoo and conditioner, it's as good as or better than some of the high end, (high price) products and smells AMAZING!! read more

I felt like I needed a change and always wanted to check out this salon. My stylist was terrific as she made a lot of suggestions to do something fun but still within my comfort zone. So I decided to go with it and I am so glad I did! I love my hair and will definitely go back and see her. UPDATE: I changed my review after going here for about a year. My second visit wasn't like the first as the Stylist messed up my color and had to go back again to get it "fixed", not once but twice after which became frustrating. I decided to try another stylist to try to get the color corrected (the old stylist wrote "OOPS" on my profile, too which I though was unprofessional)! Very disappointed. I was looking for a spa experience. First, the services listed on the website are not updated with what is currently being offered. My mother in law and I received a facial and wash/style. Both services were okay. It was challenging and confusing to book the services with the receptionist. Once we arrived we spent as much time waiting for services to start and be finished as we did actually being pampered. I've been seeing Natalie here for a few years now, and she has done wonders for my hair! My previous hair dresser did some major damage so it was fried when I first went to Natalie to try to repair it. She helped me nurse my hair back to health while still maintaining the color and look I prefer. My hair is the best it's ever now thanks to her! Natalie always keeps a record for her clients so that her work is on point every time - I love that. I look forward to getting my hair done now because I know I'm in great hands and I dont have to stress about how it will turn out. I had my haircut there before President's Day. They had black birds hanging from the ceiling. When asked about it told they represented the presidents and the one hanging upside down by one foot was President Obama, the worst president. It seems very inappropriate and definitely racist. Don't be fooled by their 50% coupon. I went in for highlights and walked out paying $72 (after the 50% discount!). When I asked why it was so expensive after the discount was applied I was told it only discounted one service. I was confused since I only got one service (highlights), but was told hey charge $20 for a blowdry and $10 for a toner. What kind of salon charges an extra $20 for a blow dry? Shouldn't that come standard with all services? My hair only goes a little past my shoulders and everytime I have ever got highlights the most I have paid was $75 at FULL price. I went in thinking I'd end up paying 40 for highlights with my coupon. This place charges way too much for their services. No wonder I was one of 2 women there on a Saturday, when most salons are usually jam packed. read more

This was only my third pedicure ever. I booked it at Juliennes because I wanted to treat myself to a relaxing, spa pedicure after having a really bad year losing my husband and I was willing to pay for a lovely experience. Well, it was not. I was taken to a weird room with colosseum style bench seating?? There were 3 stations of foot baths. I was to step up and sit on a bench with pillows. In order to work on my feet, I had to put my feet on the side of the sink furthest from me which meant I had to balance my heels on a rolled up towel?? My thighs were sore days later after having held them up for an hour. Have no idea how a short person could do it? As the tech trimmed my nails, she shook the clippings on the floor, of which I had to walk on on my way out, ewe! The room wasn't very clean either. This pedicure was expensive!! It was $50 plus tip but it was not relaxing... will not go there again. read more

To say I was disappointed is not enough. I would do a -100 if I could. I was getting my hair done for my weeding and made sure when I made the appointment to let them know I had tape in hair extensions. This is what the stylist Jamie did.... She event tried to say it look cute. Why was it okay for me to leave there salon like this especially the day I was getting married??? I was so mad that we just left. My step mother was still charged for the hair style. Which I did call and talk to a later that worked there. The manager was supposed to call me back and never did. I have never been so disappointed with a place in my life. With no time left we had to do my own hair when we got to the venue and all my wedding photos look terrible because my hair looked like crap.. Kayla did my hair for my wedding last October ....I highly recommend her! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she copied it perfectly. On the day of my wedding I was able to come in before opening time, I got offered donuts coffee but ended up having a mimosa instead.....they made everything just so special for me on my wedding day! I've been going to Julienne's on and off for the past few years for haircuts and pedicures - it's always been terrific and certainly not worse than some other salons I've been to. It's low-key there, so I feel comfortable there, and they always offer everyone some type of refreshment. Last weekend I went in for a haircut and was treated wonderfully by both my stylist Kelly and Julienne herself. Kelly gave me great cut. Yesterday, Natalie gave me the Brazilian Blowout, and let me tell you, she did an amazing job. She took her time, was very thorough and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My hair came out great and it was delightful to see how excited Natalie was about my hair - you can tell she really cares and wants a great outcome with everything she does. read more

My stylist (Kayla) did a great job. But be forewarned that this place is run more like a Great Clips...you pay for everything separate. I don't think I've ever had a partial highlight not include the blowout. So be prepared to be charged for everything. I wanted a base break done with my highlight, but knowing they might charge too much for something I do at home in between highlights, I brought my own product (Redken base break...the EXACT product they use, I saw it when she brought it out). I asked if she could just help apply it before the shampoo. She asked the owner who told her the policy is that I would STILL have to pay the (excessive) amount of $48 extra for a base break, EVEN IF THEY APPLY MY PRODUCT, which only has to sit on my hair for 10 minutes. That is so ridiculous to me. I pay $25 for just a base break at Dolce Salon in Chandler AND IT INCLUDES a blowout with a round brush. You can bet I'll just be taking my business back there. Obviously I declined to pay extra for a base break or blow dry and ended up leaving with a (good) highlight job for $48 and semi-wet hair. 5-stars for Kayla though. She did good. read more

I have really thick year and I've gone other places and they mess my hair up, Julienne fixed my hair and has made it so it's manageable for me. Queen Creek location, Scottsdale prices!!!! I had my hair done by Julienne a few months ago and then as an after thought signed up for a Yelp account just to make sure nobody ever had the same experience in wallet draining for a look that was basically no diffferent than when I walked in. I got partial color, partial highlights and a trim and had to pay $311 for it!!!! (Try explaining that to your husband!!) My hair looked just about the same as when I walked in. If that isn't bad enough, I got acosted by their new aesthetician who walked up to me to tell me my skin looked parched and tried to push a 6 facial package on me. When I sat down to get my hair done, the owner Julienne who was doing my hair was trying to push me to get eyelash extensions for $150. Holy cow, who can drop $1000 to get everything done like that. The median income isn't THAT good in QC to be able to pay those prices.......sheesh. Learn your place Julienne, or at least go to Scottsdale so at least the people who come in there can pay those prices and not have to get a 2nd job.You should be ashamed.
