I've heard of many great things about this little breakfast nook back when it used to be in DB but now I've finally gotten to try it and it's a super cute and cozy place that serves up really good breakfast bagel sandwiches. We got the Julie's special and a California breakfast bagel and they were freshly made and the bagels were not too thick and bready but perfectly chewy and soft. I love the ambiance here during the holidays as it feels like I'm having breakfast at a good friends house. The tomato soup is also super delicious and warms the soul on a cold day, as well as being great for dipping a jalapeño cheese bagel in. An odd thing...I was driving from another local city, I called Julie's to order a sandwich to pickup on my way to my office. I was told "they don't take phone orders". Well again, I was driving and didn't want to place my order on line and risk a ticket. Anyway, this was first and last dealing with Julie's! All I can say, that it must be nice to have so much business that you can refuse to take an order over the phone. so glad i got to try out julie's cafes bagels! inside has 2 kiosks to order from instead of ordering with a person. i got the california bagel and the kale smoothie. the wait time was a bit long, but there was a big rush during lunch hours. my bagel came out piping hot and the ingredients were very fresh and tasty. the bagel was so soft and chewy!!! i loved it the kale smoothie had the perfect consistency and tasted so yummy. i loved the sweetness as it wasn't too sweet like other smoothie places. there's alot of seating inside and it's very clean and cozy! can't wait to be back :) read more

The reviews are overrated. Today is my first time and last time come here. I spent almost $50 (including tips) for unworthy & overpriced food and drinks. The owner definitely needs to hire and train more efficient helpers to get the dine in orders out promptly. After waiting for more than 25 minutes, the hot bagels are out at the counter but not yet served to my table due to missing coffee , smoothies and fruit cup according to the boss lady ... I don't understand why they cannot serve the bagels when they are hot ... The "Julie's special" tasted like I was eating out of a garbage bag: the egg was over powering, the bacon only had burnt ends which was hard and tasted like I was eating a toddler's cooking . The breakfast combo bagel's taste is nothing impressive with smaller portion than I expected. There is no service, and I already regretted to pay the tips. The boss lady seems doesn't care about all the customers' feelings and her face is not even looking happy & welcomed at all the time. I am not sure about the atmosphere because there is no music, lacking of enough tables, everyone is talking gossips loudly. Overall, this is not an enjoyable experience to me. What a cute little place! I loved the modern and cozy decor Julie's Cafe had. It was clean and the girl who took my order was super friendly. The sandwiches are made to order. I got the Julie's Special ($7.95) and it was so good! I loved that they used a jalapeño bagel because it went so well with all of the ingredients inside. The bagel sandwich was very filling and I shared it with my hubby. We were both full, so for the price it is definitely worth it. Love coming here when I'm alone and want a good club sandwich. As I'm writing this it sounds so good! The ingredients are fresh and even though I'm sure I could make it at home, it's just has that love in every bite feel. I also love the fruit on the side is really good fruit. Not list melon and soggy grapes. Super close to my new company's location where Mexican food joints outnumber everything else. The building is newly renovated with plenty of parking. They sport a clean, open interior, cutely decorated and a touchscreen ordering system (that is simply annoying). I'm so done with these kiosks. If you charge $17 for a sandwich, then at least have a nice person at the register to take my order. That being said, my sandwich was quite good with decent ingredients. First time coming here with my boyfriend, Starting off with service, you walk in you're greeted and you can immediately just order through the kiosk which was convenient and simple and every menu item had a great description and picture. Seating was pretty good not a crazy big space but they have enough tables. Definitely gives a nice cozy farm kitchen vibe. After ordering we sat and it took a total of 7 mins to get everything, and I timed it so yes pretty quick service considering it looked like they were having a pretty busy morning. Im assuming it might be longer of a wait if they were even more busier but to me they looked pretty busy at the time. Now for the food we ordered Two Julies Special and one BLTA Let me start off with they were both absolutely amazing! Our favorite was the BLTA because of the sourdough bread. I wish they offered more fruit in the cup that they give you with the sandwich. And I do wish they had an option for something like chipotle type spice for the Julie special just to give it a kick. We both got smoothies one Very Berry and one Strawberry Banana both were really good although I did wish you could add agave syrup to the Very Berry one simply so it could be a tad sweet but they were both still delicious. Only thing that was a bit crazy to us was the prices. For two bagels and two smoothies (20oz) and one sandwich it was a total of almost $60 which is bonkers to me but again you get what you pay for and the quality of food was definitely great. We told ourselves we could definitely come more often for smoothies but for the actual food perhaps only when we want to treat ourselves considering the prices. Julie's Cafe has been bookmarked for years and I finally decided to give it a try during my lunch break. I downloaded the online app and placed my order on the way, just in case the lunch lines were long. I only waited a few mins for my order, but was helped right away as I walked through the door. The cafe had lots of indoor and outdoor seating and was very bright and inviting. I ordered the Julie's special, it was freshly made and still so warm as I took my first bite. Everything about the bagel sandwich was so perfectly well balanced and delicious! You can tell qualify ingredients were used and I really sensed the care and thought put into the food being made. (I think it was the owner who made sure the avocado I ordered on the side was added, without me asking). I also ordered the ube mochi muffins, albeit good at $3 per it was pretty small for the price. There's more items I would still like to try so definitely coming back. Save this place for your next breakfast/lunch :) read more

I hate needing to post a bad review but this was just unacceptable. I've been a fan of Julie's ever since they were in diamond bar but today was just bad. I was basically finished with my bagel when I found a HUGE piece of plastic that I was chewing and wondering why the texture was weird. Who knows how much plastic I already ate. Im so disappointed and when I reported it to the employee they just took the evidence to the back and didn't come back with anything or even an apology. I was devastated to see the Yelp page for Julie's Cafe in Diamond Bar say closed but thankfully it was just relocated! Stopped by Julie's Cafe to pick up some lunch on a Friday afternoon. No staff is physically taking orders any longer as there is an order kiosk available right upon walking in. The selection of bagels seems to have decreased as well from the previous location. Thankfully we only had to wait about 10 minutes for our food but I did hear another customer complain it was taking a very long time . Kale Smoothie ($7.50): One of my favorite smoothies, ever. Though it did seem they pre-make smoothies now as I saw the staff pull one out of their deep freezer. I suppose this decreases wait time but the smoothie did melt a lot faster than normal. Nonetheless, still delicious - just have to drink it a little faster. Honey Sausage Bagel ($6.95) with Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel (+$0.65 uncharge): Julie knows how to make a bagel sandwich. This is one of those meals that I never want to end because it is just sooo good. A nicely toasted bagel with juicy egg, slightly sweet honey sausage, and melted cheese?! Nothing beats that. There is a decent amount of parking in the private lot surrounding the eatery but it does and can get pretty filled. read more

The place is very welcoming and the workers are friendly. My husband ordered a club sandwich and he said it was really good, I ordered a breakfast bagel (with the jalapeño bagel) the flavor was good, and the bagel had a great taste but the reason I give a 4start is because my breakfast bagel was overheated so much that I couldn't eat it immediately, I had to wait for it to cool down. I believe my bagel was put in the microwave which I don't agree with that method, that's the reason why I never ordered sandwiches at a coffee place called Starb.. if I decide to go back to Julie's I will definitely asked not to microwave my order. read more

Wow! Julie's Cafe opened a new location. We used to visit the Diamond Bar location for the best bagel breakfast sandwiches around, but it was bit of a drive. Bagels are their claim to fame, and I ordered the California on an "everything" bagel. The sandwich was exactly how I remembered; fresh and soft with delicious egg, cheese, and avocado. My wife ordered the Julie's Special breakfast bagel, which she thought was very good. Note: if you want a side of jelly, it's $1.00. Since the location is at an unincorporated area with a rural feel, I didn't expect interior to look the way it did. The interior is well-decorated, and there is plenty of seating inside and also on the outside patio. We can't wait to go back for the best breakfast bagels. read more

Julie's cafe is always a great spot for some breakfast or brunch! They reopened in chino & the bagels are just as delicious.
