They carried my order out to my car, helped make sure I had salsa, and were just unbelievably kind and thoughtful throughout the whole experience. It's rare to find a place that delivers both exceptional food and exceptional people, but Dos Amigos does both so effortlessly. It was amusing watching people enter the main door and then turn one way or the other to enter a business, only to realize they want the other door. I saw a few families with little kids start towards the bar and then turn to the restaurant. Groups in motorcycle jackets did the reverse. A signboard at the entrance to the restaurant invites customers to choose a table and then help themselves to chips and salsa. My husband and I split an entrée and it was more then enough for the both of us. Portion sizes are generous. The food was very good. Much better than Casa Ramos or Puerto Vallarta. If you want Mexican food in Mount Shasta, stay away from those chains and go to La Perla for a much better meal at reasonable prices to boot.
