Benjamin was consummate wait person. Chile Relleno was first rate. Spotless restrooms. Enjoy.

Highly recommend. We were so happy to find this restaurant on the way through town. The restaurant decorations were amazing and so fun. The food was excellent (burritos, chimichanga, and tacos, salsa). The wait staff was probably the best we've ever experienced.

Fajitas three ways and all the goodies that go with!

Our family's favorite for years... we have been loyal customers because these folks are fantastic and the food is top notch! The lights in the ceiling and all the traditional art work is welcoming. We almost always have a group of 5 or more and they take great care of us. Warm Chips and yummy salsa on the table when we are seated, they know my husband likes the hotter salsa and bring it without needing to ask. Service is friendly prompt and always with a great smile! We have our favorite dishes but are never disappointed when we give a new item a try. The fajitas for three were hot hot hot and yummy today. If you leave here hungry, it's likely your own fault, cause they serve great portions! If you haven't tried them yet, you're missing out !

    Chicken fajita salad.

Once again really REALLY good, fresh Mexican food. I highly recommend this restaurant, they never seem to have an "off" day. And after many years of eating here I had another fantastic meal, actually two in the last week. This was a to-go meal, and was very good. Chips were still warm when I got home, everything was perfect.

Cheese enchilada and pork tamale combo

Bottom line - this is C grade Mexican food. Arrived and received chips and salsa and they were average. Ordered a combo with pork tamale and cheese enchilada. The cheese enchilada was cheesy yet the sauce seemed out of a can, not very authentic. The tamale was DRY and if I had to guess, a frozen tamale. Not fresh. The food was hot and honestly their technique probably dried the rice out - it was dry. Was hopping this recommendation was good - but sadly it was not and I'm sure there is better.

    Machaca burrito

This is a great place, seems authentic, great staff, good food. The machaca burrito was delicious, I love the egg in it. We had a big group and they were very nice, splitting all our checks. They have great salsa too, although I would like a bit spicier, it tastes good.

This is ONE order of vegetable fajitas, plus a yummy virgin mango margarita, and chips and salsa.

This is our third visit. This restaurant is festive, well staffed, and provides delicious food. The decor is colorful. It can be noisy, but that adds to the festivity. The virgin mango margarita was yummy, but it cost $12.50. I would not have ordered it had I known the price. The fajitas portion was enough for two people, so order carefully. Delicious!

MY GO-TO Mexican restaurant in Redding My family and I have been coming here since I was a little guy. And when I come back to Redding to see family, I make sure to come here at least once for dinner. The service is always great. If I'm not mistaken the same family/people still work here. They're always attentive and nice. I also love the decor. Bright and colorful, just like the restaurant in San Diego. The quality of food has also never wavered. Their chips and salsa are on point I always ordered the Guadalajara Especial with steak and chicken mix. SO GOOD! I really have no complaints about this place. Living in San Diego, who has the best Mexican food, this restaurant holds its own.

This place was so festive inside! The decor was great, and it was spacious. Service was amazing- we accidentally came kind of close to closing time, and they still treated us like royalty! The food was decent- you get a lot of it, but it's not the best quality by any means. The drinks were great though- decently strong, and cute! What the food lacked, the service made up for! They even brought us each a cinnamon sugar chip at the end of our meal for a bite of dessert. If you don't mind Americanized Mexican food, or if you're just drinking some margs, I'd absolutely recommend!

Whenever I'm visiting Redding, I always like to try new places, especially searching for solid Mexican food (which isn't an easy task in such a small town). People who know me, know that I love beans - refried especially. My grandmother and father made amazing refried beans. Living in Los Angeles, there's a diverse number of places that really deliver the flavor. I digress. So, I stop at Hermanos today and ordered a bean and cheese burrito and a chorizo soft taco. The guys working there were friendly and after explaining to them that I'm visiting from Southern California and my affinity for beans (I'm a nerd, what can I say lol), they gave me a taste of their shredded beef birria. It was amazing. Melted in my mouth. So, A+ there. To the headliners... Bean and cheese burrito. The tortilla was homemade tasting/feeling (didn't appear to be store bought like some of the other places I've tried here). On a scale of 1-10, I give the beans a 7. They were better than average and better than good. Chorizo soft taco. Pretty simple taco. Soft flour tortilla, lettuce, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, and chorizo. The chorizo was cooked perfectly (That isn't a passing comment either. Chorizo can be easily under or overcooked). Great flavor. Tasted fresh. They gave me green and red salsa. Both were really tasty and enjoyable. I think I have found my new favorite Mexican spot in Redding. The true test will be their chili relleno and pozole. I will definitely be back.

I got asada, but added two eggs and guacamole in the burrito, with cilantro and onions for added crispness and flavor. I asked for the tortilla to be crispy on the outside, but wish the fries were crispier. It was $15 for everything, which is a damn good deal, considering the size of the burrito. I'm not sure about the price of a regular Cali burrito, but what I ordered was $15. She even skipped the tip portion (I tipped in cash instead).

The rumors are that there were some legal issues and he left and the new owners took over not long after that. Not much improvement aesthetically and hasn't changed in two years or more.
