Great place for authentic Mexican food. The price is fair and the food is delicious! Chorizo tacos are my favorite!

First of all, this was my first visit and I was immediately taken aback by how sweet Juli is. She makes you feel welcome and as if you're her best friend or family immediately. Secondly, the food was delicious. We ordered the 3 steak tacos, tacos dorados with rice and corn, and 2 pork and 1 steak tacos. Everything was full of flavor and fresh. The menu is in English and Spanish, and Juli speaks clear English. The restaurant itself is clean and open, and you can tell Juli goes the extra mile for the customer experience. read more

Decided to check out the place because of the rave reviews. I ordered the chile rellenos. I was impressed by the size of them, but I couldn't figure out what kind of cheese was inside. No flavor at all and it wasn't melty, but rather rubbery. I took the 2nd one home and microwaved it to no avail. If I don't like the rellanos , I don't go back. Juli was VERY nice tho. Taco's were ok, not much to them. Nothing special... And they messed up our order.. We ordered three beef tacos with beans and rice. But when we got home we only got 3 ok tacos and no rice or beans. . Not going back! read more

The food is very very good. We had steak bistec ala Mexicana-style. The flavors are great. Service is a little slow. English is sketchy. They do not have fountain drinks. I am not sure if you get chips and salsa when you sit down, the waitress could not communicate very well. Our second time here, the food will make you come back again. read more

Juli's Restaurant serves pretty authentic Mexican food in what looks to be a former fast food restaurant. I tried both the 3-taco deal and the chicken enchilada entree (comes with two sides) and both were good. The owner (Juli) obviously likes running a restaurant and chums it up with the customers. It's nice to see an owner who takes pride in their restaurant. If I was a local, I'd come back, but as an out-of-tower, I'll have to wait 'till my next trip to Clearwater. read more

I was excited for some Mexican cuisine. Can't say the food was terrible but it deff wasn't the greatest. Everything was kind of warm, asked for rice and she brought me fries. I dined here on a cold Saturday evening with a friend. The chicken posole was excellent. Obviously homemade it had loads of chicken and a wonderful spicy kick to warm you up. My taquitos were crispy and filled with chicken. Buttery corn and tasty rice filled out the meal. This was a great home cooked meal served by the lovely and friendly Juli. I am used to Chicago Authentic Mexican food and this is by far the best here in Clearwater! Down the street the other place made me so sick, smelled nasty and I was joined by a cockroach at my seat! But Juli's is very clean, girls always smiling and Juli is a sweetheart! You want spicy, try the pastor tacos, there are a hit! For mild to nothing the the tacos dorado are very good especially for little ones! The chicken is flavorful and the fried tortillas don't have an oily taste. The carne asada is amazing! We had it with a side of Nopales (cactus) WOW! Our new favorite spot! read more

Awesome Mexican food that is a far cry from the "mainstream" Mexican places. Tacos bursting with flavor. We even asked for a special prep - the vegetarian burrito (loaded with veggies) stuffed with a little chorizo, and they delivered - best burrito we've ever had anywhere (including Mexico!). The thing about this place is that is pretty legitimate mexican food with feel of a place in Mexico, great empanadas and tacos.

Definitely go to Juli's. We got two different kinds of tacos, and they were delicious. But my favorite was the orchata, it's like a chai tea latte only better! Wish our visit was longer so we could try it again. read more

We moved here from the Los Angeles area last June 2016, and I was really missing good Mexican food. I tried another place (which shall go un-named), which was just horrible ! Then I noticed Juli's here in the parking lot by Nature's Food Patch, and I thought I'd try it. It's not a fancy place -- sort of your little neighborhood hole-in-the-wall. Well, it's WONDERFUL. I've been back several times since and have thoroughly enjoyed every single meal. My husband also loves it. The food is authentic and delicious. This place sort of confused me. It looks like a fast food place from the outside, but once you got inside, it was like a sit down place. I thought the tables were dirty at first but it was just peeling paint on them. We sat there about 10 minutes before anyone said, "Hi" to us. Once Juli arrived she was very nice and sweet. We ordered two items plus tamales. Mine came with french fries, which was weird. It was too spicy hot for me to eat. I switched food with my husband who ordered a burrito. The burrito was not as hot. By adding some sour cream I could eat it. We ordered tamales. They were very good and not very spicy. We stopped in there a few weeks later and just ordered tamales. She gave us a different type of tamale and they were too hot for me to eat. I really thought Juli was sweet but the food was just too hot. My mother told me when I was young that if you want good Mexican food, go to a restaurant where Mexican people eat. There was a good crowd each time we went. My husband loved it, so if you want spicy Mexican food this might be the place for you. read more
