We waited forever before we got food plus or waitress was never around until the last 15 mins

Location is not that bad. First of all they got my order wrong. Ordered lunch special and charged me dinner price. Shrimps looks way too small and soggy. This place is basically Captain D's comparing to Storming Crabs.where the freak did they get their shrimp from that cost 20$ per LB. That thing is so soggy probably came from walmart freezer. The customer service at Jumbo Crab is awesome. Our drinks were refilled as needed and even though it was kind of busy, they weren't rushing people out. The food was out of this world! Just enough flavor without being too salty. The wings were amazing. They were meaty and weren't drenched in sauce like some places are. Took the family for my sons birthday and the service was terrible and the food was par. My wife had some rice in her sweet tea, obviously they don't properly wash and/or check the dishes. It's good, but The only reason I didn't give more stars is because of the portions. It doesn't seem to matter which seafood menu item you get, if it comes with potatoes and corn, you only get 1 MINI-CORN, and 1 MINI-POTATO! If you want a normal amount, it's extra! So you don't even get the equivalent of a full piece of corn or whole potato. Also, they have crawfish etoufee, which is pretty good, but they call it gumbo, and rice does not come with it? You have to order separately! Who serves etouffee/ gumbo without rice? And they don't use any ANDOUILLE sausage. Other than that, the food is yummy and flavors are delicious!! Service poor, portions small, food lacked flavor and seemed premade. We asked for sauce for the calmari (which was too salty) the sauce was in premade individual container. The entire experience was pathetic. The restaurant has graffiti on every wall, the food is overpriced and very underwhelming in flavor and quantity, and the entire atmosphere was very uncomfortable. One of the dirtiest establishments I've ever eaten in. I will go to Captain Ds or Long John Silvers before ever considering a return trip. read more

This is probably the best seafood place I have ever been too before when it comes to the sitting and the inside and the food, but the after take of the food is not so pretty it makes your stomach hurt and your fingers smell bad like fish like when you get it too go they don't give gloves so you'll be washing your Hands non stop when it comes to this place but food is fantastic. read more

Ordered the "Juicy Special" sauce and the hottest flavor they had. The sauce was all liquid without any seasoning, spices or flavor. Additionally, one of the potatoes in my bag was rotten (black inside). The amount of mussels and shrimp was definitely not equivalent to 1/2 of a pound. read more

The portions are very small, the service is rude at best and the food was flavorless. I asked for cocktail sauce for the fried shrimp. It came out in a pre made tiny container and tasted like ketchup. This is the worst seafood place I have ever eaten. I would have done better with Mrs Paul's at home. read more

I care not even give a star.......Meal was very skimpy , the seasoning at the bottom of the little boat I was given instead of a bag, due to ordering king Crab legs in my boil....And now that I think about it I was only given one crab leg that was broken up into sections of the leg...SMDH and not to mention was a additional price due to was not included in a boil. Amazing food! The flavor is out of this world! You can taste the seasoning throughout the crab. I ordered the pound snow crab legs and was very satisfied with what I received. I took the rest home and it was even better than before. I can't wait to come here again! read more

Ain't none of y'all from South Carolina sobyall wouldn't know too much about good seafood. This is probably the best spot in town. Portions my be a lil smaller than Storming Crab, but Jumbo actually has the freshest seafood here in town. And they have plenty of flavor. Just get the Juicy special with all the spices and flavor combined. Don't bash this place bc you don't know seafood. Now as far as improvements. They need to understand American culture a lot more bc the nonchalantly loafing around the store and not checking on your customers is rude. Honestly the natives that work there are great bc they are from here. On the other hand I would like to see these damn foreigner take our culture in consideration if we gone be spending mad money with them read more

Went there today with some girlfriends and our kiddos. The waitress was very polite and attentive and I'm sure that was a challenge seeing as how my son was probably the most annoying person in the restaurant lol. He is a talker and on the autism spectrum so eating out can be an experience but they were great here and we felt like we were at home. I would encourage them to possibly add more selections for children other than chicken tenders but for today it was fine. The food was soooo delicious and had so much flavor. Horrible service. Good food. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to some good sea food and to celebrate our marriage. To start off it was dead, on a Sunday around dinner time. We still chose to go in and as soon as we walk in, Nola the waitress tells us "We are closed" so we turned around about to walk out and she says "just kidding" and awkwardly walks us to our table. We started off with appetizers and ordered the fried calamari which she makes a comment "ewwww y'all are nasty I can't get myself to try those" so still awkward we kinda laugh it off cause we were trying to enjoy our dinner. When we finally decide to order she chooses to make a comment about what we ordered, saying "damn y'all are going to eat all that" and the rest of the night kept making rude comments about what we ordered and what we ate. By far the most cringe waitress I have ever encountered. But aside the nasty waitress, food was really good. And if we choose to eat Jumbo Crab again it will be take out. read more
