Never been in here before. Primarily due to the road construction and it's kinda a pain in the ass to navigate the Apache Trail since you gotta go xtra blocks to find a place to turn around. Anyway, it's been years since I have been in a bike shop. The smell was amazing and brought back childhood memories & nostalgia. Apparently the business is now under new ownership and the dude who running the show knows his stuff and has a send of humor to boot. Took my ancient TREK Antelope bike to this shop to have the front tire replaced. While they had it I asked for a good tune-up as well as new hand grips and toe clips. From the moment I walked in the door I was treated well, listened to, and never made to feel like I didn't belong to the bike community. They completed the work promptly communicating with me throughout. When I picked up my bike they still treated me respectfully, even though they were busy and brought my bike out quickly. The customer service seems fair enough until you actually have to ask questions & get explanations. The price is 20% more than any bike shops in the valley. I think because they're the only show in town they think it's okay to over price their service but Ray at Stay True Cyclery is much more helpful & he's mobile so you don't have to lug your bike around for poor service. I brought my bike in for a maintenance inspection & tire replacement. I specifically asked if they could check the suspension & see what I would need to get it back in working condition. Instead of a maintenance check to make sure my bike is working properly & to inform me of what else might be needed to get the bike to full working order they just checked the gears & tires & called it a day. Sure the service was quick but it's the same compared to other shops I've been to. I didn't need fast service. I needed thorough inspection. When I mention the shocks the manager said "yeah, that's a separate issue from what we checked." & handed my receipt to me. I would expect an expert to at least let me know they provide that service. If you can go to a different company for half the price. read more

When I first came in everything was nice the guy told me it would only be two days to replace headset and redo the brakes and it would only cost $75 cause he had a spare headset and wouldn't charge me any extra if I let him keep the brand new one that was the wrong size when I picked my bike up the price jumped to $143 whenever asked about the price change he said that's what it cost when I asked for my original headset back he told me I brought it in without a headset definitely wouldn't reccomend anymore used to be a great shop not anymore read more

I blew out an inner tube on my bike while inflating it - also damaged the tire. I took it to Junction, and the young fellow (not sure of his name) interrupted the work he was doing on another bike to look at my tire/tube. He fixed it all up with a new tube and tire in about 15 minutes, and had me all looked after and on my way. Price seemed quite reasonable as well. It was a great experience, and so much different than the service you receive at most businesses these days. I was also impressed with the shop itself - everything laid out nicely and well organized. HORRIBLE!!!! Took 2 tires from a new ebike in on Monday. Several guys were working and suggested using Tannus along with new tubes to prevent flats totalling about $250. Called Wednesday to check status. They had no record of me coming in, no name, no phone number which I gave them, and NO WORK ORDER!!! Not confident the tires were even there anymore, I went to look. When I entered the store a young "manager" announced loudly that our expectations were different and he didn't want to service the tires and kicked me out. I thought, well if expecting a company to do a job or service as agreed upon is expecting too much, then our expectations are definitely different. I am a 70 year old who was just trying to help with tires on my grandsons ebike he got for his 13th birthday. I have done business with this company in the past as Ive lived and owned property in AJ for more than 20 years. Junction Bike Shop is NOT what it used to be. Obviously new incompetent management. It was refreshing to go into this shop and be greeted with a "how can we help you today". Real customer service in a world where it's lacking. A young man was in the middle of repairing a bike and asked what I needed. I told him the problems. He came outside and rode my bike around the parking lot. He agreed on my assessment and checked over the chain, sprocket and gear shift. All needed to be replaced. I also added a new seat that he would install. He gave me an estimate and said the time frame would be 24-48 hours. And 2 days later it was done. Reasonable rates. It came in $45 less than the estimate. And real attention to the customers. What a breath of fresh air. Everyone working there are young men who have respect for their customers. They really know bikes!!!! read more

Tip = Hard work, they got it, you will be able to find someone that is willing to do what it takes to make sure you will be able to fly out the door after you get your bike care; with top of the line service, that really just has its own boom to it; this is a place that one would come to see how to do what it takes to, simply it's some great stuff. They really have a place of, top of the line kinda of style and means to get you from A to B and you're still in the store, they will be able to really give you the best deal; if you're okay with paying over $100 n some, to get the tools yourself and then the time to put into the know how for it, they are truly priceless. As, for being able to give you the price of mind of what it means that you are getting what you are paying for and more, they will really give you all that you need and well, you will be able to then do your thing and for sure know that you can come back and be able to fly out the door again with that same smile that you had before; as you, will only be able to have the know how and the means of that know-how from all the way from the inside to the outside, they got the bike knows how to get the job done the first time. They got a showroom that will really get you going, the bikes that they have well, words are just the begging and still, you got to see them in person to really be able to say, just how much you had to see them believe them and they got them right in their showroom; so, your time there will be worth your time and your wallet. read more

Amazing service and pricing. I bought a bike here several years back and the process could not have been smoother. All of the staff were super polite and helpful in deciding which mountain bike to get and I ended up getting a mountain bike that was perfect for me in size and price. I called a couple bike shops recently and a lot of them were backed up which is understandable and Junction bicycle Center they were backed up a few days as well for bike service but they ended up calling me two days early!! My bike is in perfect shape again after the wear and tear I have put it through and I am excited to get back out and ride again! I will definitely do business here for a while read more

I went to Junction Bike Company to buy 2 new tires and 2 new innertubes for my bike. When I went to install them, one of the innertubes had a leak in it at the valve stem. When I took it back to the store, they refused to give me a replacement claiming that when the innertubes leave the store, they are good and that it wasn't a defect in the tube. For real??? I guess instead of supporting a local Bike company, I should've gone to Walmarts! At least @ Walmarts, if they sell a defective tube, they will take it back and give a replacement! I will no longer support this rip-off Bike shope!! read more
